Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic view of a scenario of a communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the communication system 100 may include at least one network device 101 and at least one terminal device 102, and the network device 101 is connected to the terminal device 102, the terminal device 102 and the terminal device 102, and the network device 101 through wired or wireless communication technologies. It should be noted that the number and form of the terminal devices 102 and the network devices 101 shown in fig. 1 do not limit the embodiment of the present invention. In different embodiments, the network device 101 may also be connected to a core network device, which is not shown in fig. 1.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the terminal device 102 may be a device supporting multi-card multi-standby functions. Alternatively, the Terminal device 102 may be, for example, a User Equipment (UE), a Mobile Station (MS), a Mobile Terminal (MT), etc., and is a device that provides voice and/or data connection communication to a User, such as a handheld device with a wireless connection function, a vehicle-mounted device, a wearable device, a computing device, or other processing device linked to a wireless modem. Currently, some examples of terminals are: a Mobile Phone (Mobile Phone), a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a palm computer, a Mobile Internet Device (MID), a wearable Device, a Virtual Reality (VR) Device, an Augmented Reality (AR) Device, a wireless terminal in Industrial Control (Industrial Control), a wireless terminal in unmanned Driving (Self Driving), a wireless terminal in Remote Surgery (Remote Medical Surgery), a wireless terminal in Smart Grid, a wireless terminal in Transportation Safety, a wireless terminal in City (Smart City), a wireless terminal in Smart Home (Smart Home), and the like.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the terminal device 102 includes a plurality of SIMs, at least one SIM of the plurality of SIMs is in a linked state, and the remaining SIMs are in a standby state. Optionally, the terminal device 102 includes N hardware channels. The terminal device 102 assigns N hardware channels to each carrier of the linked-state SIM. When a carrier to be received exists in a non-linked SIM (i.e., a SIM in a standby state), a carrier of a linked SIM needs to be punctured.
In the carrier punching scheme proposed by the related art, most of the carrier punching schemes are based on service priorities of different services of different SIMs, the difference between multiple carriers of a link state SIM is not considered, and the carrier punching scheme is more suitable for scenes in which hardware channels are occupied by different services of different SIMs. With the popularization of multi-carrier technology, the scenario of carrier puncturing occurs more in the selective puncturing of multiple carriers of the link-state service of the same SIM. If a fixed puncturing scheme is adopted when multiple carriers of the same SIM are punctured, random uncontrollable influence may be generated on the service performance of the link-state SIM. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention provides a scheme for carrying out punching according to the quality of the carrier air interface. Specifically, the terminal device obtains the air interface quality information of each carrier of the linked SIM, and uses the air interface quality information of each carrier of the linked SIM as a puncturing basis, so that the terminal device is more suitable for a multi-carrier service scenario, and can be more adaptive to the time-varying property of a wireless channel and an HARQ mechanism.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a carrier puncturing method according to an embodiment of the present invention. The main execution body of the method shown in fig. 2 is a terminal device, and the method includes:
201, when it is determined that carriers to be received exist in the non-link state SIM, acquiring air interface quality information of each carrier of the link state SIM.
Optionally, the air interface quality information of the carrier may include one or more of a signal-to-noise ratio SNR, a reference signal received power RSRP, a reference signal received quality RSRQ, a received signal strength indicator RSSI, or adjacent channel interference. Each item included in the air interface quality information may be referred to as an air interface quality information item.
And 202, determining a target carrier from each carrier of the linked SIM according to the acquired air interface quality information.
Optionally, the terminal device may determine, according to the air interface quality information, a carrier with the worst air interface quality from the carriers of the linked SIM, and determine the carrier with the worst air interface quality as the target carrier.
In some embodiments, the air interface quality information of each carrier of the linked-state SIM includes an air interface quality information item. For example, one of signal-to-noise ratio SNR, reference signal received power RSRP, reference signal received quality RSRQ, received signal strength indication RSSI, or adjacent channel interference is included. The terminal device may determine the carrier with the worst air interface quality of the linked SIM according to the air interface quality information item included in the air interface quality information. For example, the terminal device determines the carrier with the minimum SNR of the linked SIM as the carrier with the worst air interface quality. For another example, the terminal device determines the carrier with the minimum RSRP of the linked SIM as the carrier with the worst air interface quality. The method for determining the target carrier according to other air interface quality information items is not listed one by one.
In some embodiments, the air interface quality information of each carrier of the linked SIM includes multiple air interface quality information items. After the terminal device obtains the air interface quality information of each carrier of the linked SIM, the terminal device may weight the air interface quality information items of each carrier of the linked SIM to obtain the air interface quality value of each carrier of the linked SIM. The terminal device may determine the carrier with the minimum air interface quality value as the carrier with the worst air interface quality. For example, the air interface quality information of each carrier of the linked SIM includes SNR, RSRP, and RSSI. The air quality value of each carrier of the linked SIM may be expressed as a SNR + b RSRP + c RSSI. And the terminal equipment determines the target carrier according to the air interface quality value of each carrier.
And 203, allocating the hardware channel corresponding to the target carrier to the unlinked state SIM for the unlinked state SIM to receive the carrier. Optionally, after determining the target carrier with the worst quality of the air interface, the terminal device allocates the hardware channel corresponding to the target carrier to the non-link SIM, where the remaining hardware channels of the terminal device continue to be allocated to the link SIM.
In a specific example, the terminal device includes K SIMs, where the number of carriers supported by the ith SIM is M i . Maximum number of carriers M supported by a single card in the K SIMs max =MAX(M i ). The maximum number of hardware channels that can be used in parallel by the terminal device is denoted as N. Based on the compromise between cost and performance, the number N of hardware channels in the terminal equipment is greater than or equal to the maximum number M of carriers supported by a single card max And less than the total number of carriers supported by the K SIMs. Namely, it isConsidering the hardware cost, the number N of the hardware channels of the terminal device satisfies the following relationship: m is a group of max ≤N≤(K+M max ) Even N = M max This is true.
Among the K SIMs of the terminal device, some SIMs are in a link state, and the remaining SIMs are in a standby state. The terminal equipment allocates N hardware channels to each carrier of the link-state SIM. In one example, the terminal device assigns N hardware channels to the linked-state SIM [ i ]]The M _ i carriers, that is, the hardware channel use set of the terminal device, are: SET init ={CC 0 i ,CC 1 i ,CC 2 i ,……,CC M_i-1 i }. In one of the transmission opportunities, SIM [ j ] in non-linked state]There are carriers that need to be received. Optional, unlinked state SIM [ j ]]Single carrier only reception, then needs to be the unlinked state SIM [ j ]]Carrier wave CC of 0 j And (6) punching. Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, the SIM [ i ] is in a slave link state]Determining the carrier with the worst air interface quality, and recording the carrier with the worst air interface qualityIs CC p i . The CC p i Corresponding hardware channel is allocated to unlinked state SIM [ j ]]Carrier wave CC of 0 j The remaining hardware channels of the terminal device are allocated to the link-state SIM i]M _ i-1 carriers, thereby enabling puncturing of linked-state SIM carriers. At this time, the hardware channels of the terminal device are collectively expressed as:
SET next ={CC 0 i ,CC 1 i ,……,CC p-1 i ,CC p+1 i ,……,CC M_i-1 i ,CC 0 j }
=SET init \{CC p i }+{CC 0 j }。
