Fig. 1 shows a schematic flow chart of a method 100 of data transmission according to an embodiment of the application, which method 100 may be performed by a terminal device. As shown in fig. 1, the method 100 includes: s110, the terminal equipment determines to delay sending target service data; and S120, the terminal equipment delays to send the target service data when the sending condition is met.
Specifically, in S110, the terminal device may determine that the transmission of the target service data may be delayed according to its attribute information, or the terminal device may determine that the transmission of the target service data may be delayed according to an instruction of the network device.
Alternatively, as an embodiment, the terminal device may determine that the transmission of the target service data may be delayed according to its own attribute information. For example, the attribute information may include a type of the terminal device, for example, the type of the terminal device includes whether the terminal device is a power saving type terminal device, and if the terminal device is a power saving type terminal device, that is, the terminal device aims at power saving, the terminal device determines that the transmission of the service data can be delayed. For another example, the terminal device is a terminal device of a type of high-delay service, i.e. the terminal device is configured to handle the high-delay service, the terminal device may also delay sending the high-delay service of the type.
Optionally, as an embodiment, the terminal device may further determine to delay sending the target service data according to an instruction of the network device. Specifically, the terminal device receives a delayed transmission indication message sent by the network device, where the delayed transmission indication message is used to indicate that the terminal device can delay sending part or all of service data, and the terminal device determines that the terminal device can delay sending target service data according to the delayed transmission indication message.
Optionally, the delayed transmission indication message is a delayed transmission time length or delayed transmission time stamp information.
For example, the delayed transmission indication message may indicate a maximum delayed transmission duration of the terminal device, and if the maximum delayed transmission duration is T1, the terminal device may transmit part or all of the service data within the duration T1 after receiving the delayed transmission indication message.
For another example, the delay sending indication message may indicate timestamp information of the terminal device, and if the timestamp information is T2, the terminal device may start a timer after receiving the delay sending indication message, where the duration of the timer is T2, and before the timer times out, send part or all of the service data.
Specifically, before the terminal device sends the target service data, it is determined that the target service data can be sent in a delayed manner according to the delay sending indication message, and then the terminal device delays sending the target service data, for example, the terminal device can determine that the target service data corresponds to a high-delay service, and then the terminal device can determine that the target service data is sent in a delayed manner according to the delay sending indication message.
Further, the network device may determine, according to the attribute information of the terminal device, whether the terminal device may delay sending the service data. The attribute information may include a type of a terminal device, for example, the type of the terminal device includes whether the terminal device is a power saving type terminal device, and if the terminal device is a power saving type terminal device, that is, the terminal device aims at power saving, the network device may determine that the terminal device can delay sending service data. For another example, the terminal device is a terminal device of a type of high-delay service, i.e. the terminal device is configured to handle the high-delay service, the network device may also determine that the terminal device may delay sending the high-delay service of the type.
Optionally, the network device may acquire attribute information of the terminal device through a subscription server of the terminal device, for example, the network device receives the attribute information that may be sent by the subscription server of the terminal device; alternatively, the network device may also receive the attribute information sent by the terminal device.
In an embodiment of the present application, the method 100 further includes: before receiving the delayed transmission indication message sent by the network device, the terminal device may also send a delayed transmission request message to the network device, where the delayed transmission request message is used for the terminal device to request to delay transmission of all or part of service data to the network device, and the network device sends the delayed transmission indication message to the terminal device according to the delayed transmission request message.
Alternatively, the delayed transmission request message may include attribute information of the terminal device, so that the network device determines whether the terminal device can delay transmission of the service data according to the attribute information.
Specifically, the terminal device sends a delay sending request message to the network device, the delay sending request message requests to delay sending service data, the network device determines that the terminal device can delay sending the service data according to attribute information of the terminal device, the network device returns a delay sending indication message to the terminal device, and the terminal device determines that the terminal device can delay sending the service data according to the delay sending indication message. When the terminal device needs to transmit the target service data, the terminal device may determine to delay transmitting the target service data according to the delay transmission indication message, for example, the target service data corresponds to a high-delay service, and the terminal device may delay transmitting the target service data.
In S120, the terminal device delays transmitting the target service data until the transmission condition is satisfied. Specifically, the terminal device may start the delay timer after determining to delay transmitting the target service data, and the transmission condition is related to the delay timer, i.e., the terminal device determines whether to transmit the target service data according to the delay timer.
It should be understood that the duration of the delay timer may be preset, or the duration of the delay timer may be configured by the network device, for example, the delay transmission indication message sent by the network device to the terminal device may include the duration of the delay timer.
Alternatively, as an embodiment, the terminal device may start the delay timer at the non-access stratum layer. Specifically, the non-access layer of the terminal device receives the target service data of the application layer, and determines to delay sending the target service data, that is, the target service data is delayed in the non-access layer and waits to be sent, for example, the non-access layer determines to delay sending the target service data according to the delay sending indication message of the network device, and then the non-access layer starts the delay timer after delaying the target service data.
Correspondingly, the non-access layer of the terminal device delays to meet the sending condition, and then sends the target service data, wherein the sending condition may include: when the delay timer expires, the non-access stratum transmits the target service data.
Optionally, the transmission condition may further include: the non-access stratum layer may also determine that the target service data may be sent according to policy information before the delay timer expires. Specifically, the non-access layer of the terminal device may receive policy information sent by the access layer, determine that the target service data may be sent according to the policy information, and send the target service data through the access layer.
The policy information may include link information detected by the access layer, which is used to characterize whether the current link condition can send service data; and/or the policy information may also include the transmission power evaluated by the access layer, for example, if the link condition is not good, the target service data may be transmitted by increasing the transmission power of the terminal device, and the transmission power satisfies the limitation of the maximum value of the transmission power. Or when the access layer determines that the target service data can be sent currently according to the current link conditions or the conditions such as the sending power, the non-access layer is indicated to send the target service data currently through the strategy information, so that the non-access layer of the terminal equipment determines to send the target service data according to the strategy information.
It should be appreciated that if the non-access stratum determines that delayed target traffic data can be transmitted before the delay timer expires, the delay timer is stopped when the non-access stratum transmits the target traffic data.
In an embodiment of the present application, the method 100 further includes: and after the non-access layer of the terminal equipment sends the target service data to the access layer, starting a feedback timer. If the non-access layer of the terminal equipment receives the feedback information of the access layer before the feedback timer is overtime, the non-access layer stops the feedback timer according to the feedback information, and the access layer is determined to successfully receive and send the target service data. If the feedback timer is overtime, the non-access layer does not receive feedback information, and the non-access layer of the terminal equipment resends the target service data to the access layer. The duration of the feedback timer may be preconfigured according to practical applications.
Optionally, as another embodiment, the non-access layer of the terminal device receives the target service data of the application layer, the non-access layer of the terminal device determines that the target service data needs to be sent in a delayed manner, for example, the non-access layer determines that the target service data needs to be sent in a delayed manner according to a delayed sending indication message of the network device, then the non-access layer starts a delay timer and sends first indication information to the access layer, where the first indication information includes the target service data, and the first indication information is used to instruct the access layer to delay sending the target service data, so that the access layer delays sending the target service data according to the first indication information, that is, the target service data delays and waits to be sent in the access layer.
Or, the non-access layer of the terminal device receives the target service data of the application layer, the non-access layer of the terminal device determines that the target service data may need to be delayed to be sent, for example, the non-access layer determines that the target service data corresponds to a high-delay service, and sends an indication message according to the delay of the network device and can delay to be sent, then the non-access layer sends first indication information to the access layer, the first indication information includes the target service data, and the first indication information is used for indicating the access layer to delay sending the target service data, so that the access layer determines whether to delay sending the target service data according to the first indication information in combination with policy information, if the target service data is determined to delay sending according to the policy information, that is, the target service data is delayed and waits to be sent in the access layer, then the non-access layer is notified, so as to start a delay timer in the non-access layer; in contrast, if it is determined that there is no need to delay transmission of the target service data according to policy information, the access layer may perform transmission of the target service data without delay transmission.
The policy information may also include a link signal and/or a transmit power, which are not described herein.
Correspondingly, the access layer of the terminal device delays sending the target service data until the target service data meets a sending condition, where the sending condition may include: when the delay timer of the non-access layer expires, the non-access layer transmits the target service data. Specifically, when the delay timer of the non-access stratum layer is overtime, the non-access stratum layer can send timer indication information to the access stratum layer, wherein the timer indication information is used for indicating the overtime of the delay timer, so that the access stratum layer can determine the overtime of the delay timer according to the timer indication information and send the target service data; or when the delay timer of the non-access layer is overtime, the non-access layer determines that the access layer can send the target service data, then the indication information is sent to the access layer, and the sending indication information is used for indicating the access layer to send the target service data, so that the access layer can immediately send the target service data according to the sending indication information.
Optionally, the transmission condition may further include: before the delay timer times out, the access layer determines that the target service data can be sent according to the policy information, and immediately sends the target service data. The policy information may also include a link signal and/or a transmit power, which are not described herein.
It should be appreciated that before the delay timer expires, if the non-access stratum indicates that the access stratum can send the delayed target service data, or the access stratum determines that the target service data can be sent, the non-access stratum stops the delay timer when the non-access stratum indicates that the access stratum sends the target service data, or the access stratum determines to send the target service data according to the policy information, for example, the access stratum returns feedback information to the non-access stratum, the feedback information indicates that the access stratum has sent the target service data, and the non-access stratum stops the delay timer.
In an embodiment of the present application, the method 100 further includes: after the non-access layer of the terminal device sends the target service data to the access layer, starting a feedback timer, if the access layer of the terminal device delays sending the target service data, the terminal device can set the duration of the feedback timer to be longer than the duration of the delay timer, or pause or invalidate the feedback timer during the time that the access layer delays sending the target service data until the access layer determines to send the target service data. Specifically, if the non-access layer of the terminal device receives feedback information of the access layer before the feedback timer is overtime, and determines that the access layer successfully receives and transmits the target service data according to the feedback information, the non-access layer stops the feedback timer. If the feedback timer is overtime, the non-access layer does not receive feedback information, and the non-access layer of the terminal equipment resends the target service data to the access layer. The duration of the feedback timer may be preconfigured according to practical applications.
Alternatively, as yet another embodiment, the terminal device may also start the delay timer at the access stratum. Specifically, the non-access layer of the terminal device determines that the target service data may need to be sent in a delayed manner, for example, the non-access layer determines that the target service data corresponds to a high-delay service, and sends a second indication message to the access layer according to a delay sending indication message of the network device, where the second indication message includes the target service data, and the second indication message may further include a duration of a delay timer, where the second indication message may further be used to indicate that the access layer may delay sending the target service data, so that the access layer determines to delay sending the target service data according to the second indication message, and starts the delay timer, that is, the target service data delays and waits to be sent in the access layer.
Optionally, the access layer may also determine whether to delay sending the target service data in combination with policy information, where the policy information may also include a link signal and/or a sending power, which is not described herein.
Correspondingly, the access layer of the terminal device delays to meet the sending condition, and then sends the target service data, wherein the sending condition may include: when the delay timer expires, the access layer transmits the target traffic data.
Optionally, the transmission condition may further include: the access layer may also determine that the target traffic data may be sent based on policy information before the delay timer expires. Specifically, the policy information may include link information detected by the access layer, and/or the policy information may also include transmission power estimated by the access layer, which is not described herein.
It should be understood that, in the embodiment of the present application, after the access layer of the terminal device starts the delay timer, if the access layer of the terminal device sends the target service data before the delay timer expires, the non-access layer of the terminal device stops the delay timer.
It should be understood that, in the embodiment of the present application, the service data may correspond to a service designed in the connection establishment procedure of the control plane, or may also correspond to a data transmission procedure of the user plane, which is not limited to this embodiment of the present application.
It should be understood that the Non-Access Stratum in the embodiments of the present application may include a Non-Access Stratum (NAS) or an application layer of the control plane.
