Abstract
The invention discloses a high-glossiness high-toughness polypropylene composite material and a preparation method thereof. The polypropylene composite material is composed of the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 20-50% of random copolymerization polypropylene resin; 10-30% of block copolymerization polypropylene; 25-35% of polyethylene; 0.2-0.5% of nucleating agent; 0.4-0.8% of a lubricant; 0.4-0.8% of antioxidant. The polypropylene composite material prepared by the method has the advantages of high glossiness and high toughness, is suitable for the fields of case fabrics and the like with higher requirements on the glossiness and the impact toughness of the material, can greatly improve the surface effect and the falling resistance of a workpiece, and is simple in preparation process, low in cost and easy for large-scale industrial production.

Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of high polymer materials, and particularly relates to a high-glossiness high-toughness polypropylene composite material and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The polypropylene is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic plastic, has higher impact resistance, strong mechanical property and corrosion resistance to various organic solvents and acid and alkali, meanwhile, the polypropylene resin has the characteristics of low density, high strength, easy recovery and the like, is one of the most common high polymer materials, is a resin material formed on the basis of a polypropylene matrix, is a crystalline polymer with a regular structure, is a light milky granule, tasteless, nontoxic and light thermoplastic resin, is also the lightest of general resins, has good mechanical property, good heat resistance and good chemical stability, can resist acid, alkali and organic solvent, does not react with most chemicals (such as fuming nitric acid, chromic acid solution, halogen, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform and the like), and hardly absorbs water, and is widely applied to various fields of automobiles, household appliances, home furnishing, packaging, building materials and the like.
However, compared with other resin plastics such as ABS and HIPS, polypropylene has not only low rigidity and large shrinkage, but also significantly low gloss, which significantly limits the application of polypropylene resin materials in products with high requirements for gloss, such as housings of electric appliances, stationery, and household products. The existing polypropylene materials are generally divided into three types of homopolymerization, random copolymerization and block copolymerization, wherein the random copolymerization type and block copolymerization type materials are generally products obtained by copolymerizing propylene with alpha-olefin monomers such as ethylene, butylene and the like, and the gloss of the block copolymerization type polypropylene is lower from about 70 to below 30 along with the increase of the ethylene content from the test condition of common products; the gloss of the homo-polypropylene and random copolymer polypropylene materials is somewhat desirable, usually 80-90, but the impact resistance is typically 5kJ/m2The following defects of poor impact resistance obviously exist, and the use requirements of various application fields such as bags, home appliances and the like cannot be met. At present, the high-gloss PP is modified and prepared at home and abroad mainly by adding inorganic fillers such as BaSO4 and the like into PP resin, so that the glossiness of a polypropylene material is improved to a certain extent, but the density of the polypropylene product is greatly improved, the color appearance, the sanitation, the application cost and the like of the product are also influenced by the modified material and the processing process, Therefore, the development of the high-gloss polypropylene material has positive significance for further improving the application field of the polypropylene resin.

The invention overcomes the defects in the prior art, provides the high-glossiness and high-toughness polypropylene composite material, has the characteristics of high glossiness and high impact toughness, is suitable for producing products such as case fabrics, household appliance panels and the like, can realize higher impact toughness and lower density under the condition of higher glossiness compared with the traditional polypropylene material, improves the surface effect of a workpiece, is durable, has simple preparation process and lower cost, and is easy to carry out large-scale industrial production. The technical scheme adopted by the invention is as follows:

20-50% of random copolymer polypropylene;
10-30% of block copolymerization polypropylene
25-35% of polyethylene
0.2 to 0.5 percent of nucleating agent
1 to 5 percent of brightener
0.4 to 0.8 percent of lubricant
0.4-0.8% of antioxidant.
1. The random copolymerization polypropylene has high glossiness, the melt mass flow rate is 10-20 g/10min, and the cantilever beam notch impact strength is 5-10 KJ/m2。

The preparation process comprises the following steps: adding the random copolymer polypropylene, the block copolymer polypropylene, the polyethylene, the nucleating agent, the brightening agent, the lubricant and the antioxidant into a high-speed stirrer in proportion, uniformly mixing, adding into a double-screw extruder from a main feed, performing melt mixing extrusion, bracing, water cooling and granulating to obtain the high-gloss and high-toughness polypropylene composite material, wherein the processing temperature is 190-210 ℃.
8. The invention has the beneficial effects that:
(1) the prepared luggage fabric, the household appliance shell and the like have high glossiness and high impact toughness, and compared with the traditional material, the surface effect and the durability are better, the defect that the glossiness and the impact resistance of the traditional polypropylene material cannot be simultaneously met is overcome, and (2) the preparation process is simple, the cost is lower, and the large-scale industrial production is easy to carry out.

The polypropylene composite material with high glossiness and high impact toughness comprises the following components in percentage by mass:
20-50% of random copolymer polypropylene;
10-30% of block copolymerization polypropylene
25-35% of polyethylene

0.4 to 0.8 percent of lubricant
0.4-0.8% of antioxidant.

The lubricant used in table 1 was PE wax, the antioxidant used was 1010 and 168, the ratio was 1: 2.
The raw materials are weighed according to the proportion, added into a high-speed stirrer and uniformly mixed, added into a double-screw extruder from a main feed, subjected to melt mixing extrusion and bracing water-cooling granulation to obtain the high-gloss high-impact-toughness polypropylene composite material, and the processing temperature is 190-205 ℃.
The composite materials obtained after processing were tested by the test standards shown in table two, and table 3 shows the test results of the corresponding examples and comparative examples.

As can be seen from Table 3, the comparative example 1 shows that the impact toughness of the material is higher, but the glossiness is reduced more, which is shown in that the surface of the product is fogged and not bright enough, and the mirror surface effect is not good, and the examples 1-4 show that the impact toughness of the material is reduced slightly with the increase of the content of the random copolymerization polypropylene material, but the glossiness is improved obviously, and the product is bright and has the mirror surface effect, so that the random copolymerization polypropylene material is very suitable for being used as the shell material of bags, home appliances and the like.

8. A high gloss, high toughness polypropylene composite according to claim 1 wherein: the antioxidant is prepared by compounding hindered phenol antioxidant and phosphite antioxidant according to the proportion of 1: 2.

A high gloss, high toughness polypropylene composite according to any one of claims 1 to 8 wherein: the preparation method comprises the following preparation processes: adding the random copolymer polypropylene, the block copolymer polypropylene, the polyethylene, the nucleating agent, the brightening agent, the lubricant and the antioxidant into a high-speed stirrer in proportion, uniformly mixing, adding into a double-screw extruder from a main feed, performing melt mixing extrusion, bracing, water cooling and granulating to obtain the high-gloss and high-toughness polypropylene composite material, wherein the processing temperature is 190-210 ℃.
