Description
Technical Field
The present application relates to television technologies, and in particular, to a channel switching method and a display device.
Background
Currently, most of the televisions on the market are configured with an HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) -CEC (Consumer electronics control) service, which allows a user to control the television and its connected external devices also configured with the HDMI-CEC service by using a remote controller.
When the external device accesses the television, the external device reports the device information to trigger the television to switch the playing channel to the HDMI channel accessed by the external device, so as to play the multimedia content provided by the external device.
However, in practical applications, some external devices report the device information too slowly, so that the television receives the device information reported by the external device only after actively switching the playing channel to the HDMI channel to which the external device is accessed, and further causes the playing channel to be switched again, so that a screen is flashed or blacked.
Disclosure of Invention
The application provides a channel switching method and display equipment, which are used for avoiding repeated switching of a playing channel caused by too slow reporting of equipment information by external equipment.
The technical scheme provided by the application comprises the following steps:
according to a first aspect of the present application, there is provided a display device including:
a display;
at least one HDMI port for connecting an external device, the external device being a device for providing multimedia content;
a controller coupled with the display, the controller configured to perform:
after the current playing channel is switched to the HDMI channel, generating a first TVInputInfo corresponding to the HDMI port based on the device information reported by the external device; switching a current playing channel to an HDMI channel is executed when the fact that the HDMI port is connected to external equipment is detected, and the HDMI channel is bound with a second InputID in a second TVInputInfo corresponding to the stored HDMI port;
and if the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo is consistent with the InputID bound to the current playing channel, forbidding switching the current playing channel according to the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo.
According to a second aspect of the present application, there is provided a channel switching method applied to a display device, the method including:
after the current playing channel is switched to the HDMI channel, generating a first TVInputInfo corresponding to the HDMI port based on the device information reported by the external device; switching a current playing channel to an HDMI channel is executed when the fact that the HDMI port is connected to external equipment is detected, and the HDMI channel is bound with a second InputID in a second TVInputInfo corresponding to the stored HDMI port;
and if the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo is consistent with the InputID bound to the current playing channel, forbidding switching the current playing channel according to the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo.
According to the technical scheme, after the display device actively switches the playing channel to the HDMI channel accessed by the external device, if the device information reported by the external device is received and the second TVInputInfo is generated, the playing channel is not directly switched based on the second TVInputInfo, but whether the playing channel is switched or not is determined according to the IutID in the second TVInputInfo and the IutID bound with the current playing channel, so that the phenomenon that the playing channel is flashed or blacked due to too slow reporting of the device information by the external device can be avoided.

For example, a media center, which may be other than live television or video on demand, may provide services that a user may access to various images or audio through a media center application.
In some embodiments, an application center may provide storage for various applications. The application may be a game, an application, or some other application associated with a computer system or other device that may be run on the smart television. The application center may obtain these applications from different sources, store them in local storage, and then be operable on the display device 200.
As described above, the display device includes: a display; at least one HDMI port for connecting an external device, the external device being a device for providing multimedia content; a controller coupled to the display. In an embodiment of the present application, the controller is configured to perform: after switching the current playing channel to the HDMI channel, generating a first TVInputInfo (television input information) corresponding to the HDMI port based on the device information reported by the external device; switching the current playing channel to the HDMI channel is executed when it is detected that the HDMI port is accessed to the external device, and the HDMI channel is bound to a second InputID (input identifier) in a second TVInputInfo corresponding to the stored HDMI port; if the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo is consistent with the InputID bound to the current playback channel, switching the current playback channel according to the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo is prohibited.
Correspondingly, the embodiment of the application also provides a method for realizing the corresponding operation of the processor. Fig. 6 is a schematic flow chart of a channel switching method according to an embodiment of the present application.
As shown in fig. 6, the process may include the following steps:
step 101, after switching a current playing channel to an HDMI channel, generating a first TVInputInfo corresponding to an HDMI port based on device information reported by an external device; switching the current playback channel to the HDMI channel is performed when it is detected that the HDMI port is connected to the external device, and the HDMI channel is bound to the second InputID in the second TVInputInfo corresponding to the stored HDMI port.
When the external device is connected to the HDMI port of the display device, the display device monitors the device connection event triggered by the external device. Based on the device access event triggered by the external device, the display device may determine, from the TVInputInfo stored in the display device and corresponding to each HDMI port, a second TVInputInfo corresponding to the HDMI port to which the external device is accessed.
The second TVInputInfo may be generated based on device information reported by the external device (denoted as a history device) accessed last time, for example: after the history device is connected to the HDMI port of the display device, the history device sends device information to the display device through the HDMI channel corresponding to the connected HDMI port. Then, the display device allocates an InputID (denoted as a second InputID) to the history device based on the device information sent by the history device, where the second InputID is used to uniquely identify the history device on one hand, and also used to identify an HDMI channel accessed by the history device on the other hand, that is, the second InputID allocated to the history device is bound to the HDMI channel accessed by the history device.
Note that one InputID can uniquely correspond to one external device, but a plurality of inputids may be bound to one HDMI channel. For example, when an HDMI splitter is used to enable a plurality of external devices to access the same HDMI channel at the same time, the HDMI channel will bind the InputID of each external device connected to the HDMI splitter at the same time. For another example, when the external device connected to the same HDMI channel changes, the HDMI channel also binds the input ids of multiple external devices, such as the input id of the external device connected first and the input id of the external device connected later.
Based on the foregoing description about the binding relationship between the InputID and the HDMI channel carried in the TVInputInfo, if the display device determines the second TVInputInfo corresponding to the HDMI port to which the external device accesses from the TVInputInfo corresponding to each HDMI port stored in the display device itself, the HDMI channel to which the external device accesses may be determined from the device access event triggered by the external device, and then the second TVInputInfo corresponding to the HDMI channel to which the external device accesses is determined by using the binding relationship between the InputID in each TVInputInfo and each HDMI channel.
It should be noted that, if the HDMI channel accessed by the external device corresponds to a plurality of inputids, that is, corresponds to a plurality of tvinputlnfo, one tvinputlnfo may be selected from the plurality of tvinputlnfo as the second tvinputlnfo. When the second TVInputInfo is selected, the second TVInputInfo may be selected randomly, or may be selected in a manner of selecting the latest generated TVInputInfo as the second TVInputInfo according to the generation time of each TVInputInfo, and the like.
It should be noted that the external device may be any external device that starts the HDMI-CEC control service, such as a DVD device, a set-top box, and the like, and the application does not specifically limit the type of the external device.
As an example, in this step 101, there are various implementations of generating the first TVInputInfo corresponding to the HDMI port based on the device information reported by the external device. One implementation will be described in detail below with reference to the flow shown in fig. 7, which is not repeated herein.
Step 102, if the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo is consistent with the InputID bound to the current playing channel, switching the current playing channel according to the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo is prohibited.
This step is executed on the premise that the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo is consistent with the InputID bound to the current playback channel.
As described above, the HDMI channels corresponding to the first TVInputInfo and the second TVInputInfo are substantially the same, and here, it is further determined whether the current playback channel needs to be switched according to the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo and the InputID bound to the current playback channel, because the current playback channel and the HDMI channel accessed by the external device may not be the same channel. For example, after the switching of the playing channel in step 101 is completed, the user switches the playing channel in which other external device accesses the display device or manually adjusts the display device to another channel, so that the current playing channel is different from the HDMI channel accessed by the external device, and the InputID bound to the current playing channel is different from the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo. In the above situation, in order to switch the playback channel of the display device to the HDMI channel accessed by the external device, rather than fixedly maintaining the current playback channel unchanged, it is necessary to detect whether the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo matches the InputID bound to the current playback channel.
If the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo is detected to be consistent with the InputID bound by the current playing channel, the current playing channel is the HDMI channel accessed by the external equipment, and therefore, meaningless channel switching operation is not needed. That is, the prohibition described in this step 102 switches the current playing channel according to the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo.
As for what kind of operation the display device performs when it is detected that the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo is inconsistent with the InputID bound to the current playback channel, the following will be described in detail, and details are not repeated here.
How to generate the first TVInputInfo corresponding to the HDMI port based on the device information reported by the external device in step 101 is described as follows:
referring to fig. 7, the process may include:
step 201, when receiving the device information reported by the external device, allocating a first InputID bound to the HDMI channel to the external device, and allocating a ParentID (parent ID) to the external device based on a second InputID in the second TVInputInfo, where the ParentID is consistent with the second InputID.
As described above, after the external device is connected to the display device, the external device sends its device information to the display device through the HDMI channel connected thereto. However, it should be noted that different external devices transmit their own device information at different times, for example, a part of the external devices will transmit the device information to the display device after being accessed to the display device for 10 to 20 seconds, and another part of the external devices will transmit the device information to the display device after being accessed to the display device for 1 to 10 seconds.
Optionally, in order to obtain the device information reported by the external device, an hdimtvinputservice may be created in the display device in advance, and the hdimtvinputservice is used to obtain an hdimtvclient object and register an hdimchangelistener function in the hdimtvclient object, where the hdimchangelistener function is used to monitor a device access event triggered when the external device accesses the display device. Thus, when the external device accesses the display device, the hdmchangelistener function monitors the corresponding device access event, and triggers the onChange method to monitor whether the external device reports the device information. After the external device reports the device information, the onChange method can obtain the device information reported by the external device, so that the display device receives the device information reported by the external device.
When the display device receives the device information through the HDMI channel to which the external device is connected, a first InputID is assigned to the external device, and a binding relationship between the first InputID and the HDMI channel to which the external device is connected is established. Since the second TVInputInfo corresponding to the HDMI channel is stored in the display device in the foregoing step 101, and the second InputID in the second TVInputInfo is the same channel as the HDMI channel bound by the first allocated InputID, when the first TVInputInfo is established, the first TVInputInfo is established in a manner of a child TVInputInfo of the second TVInputInfo.
Optionally, the second TVInputInfo serves as a parent TVInputInfo, and the first TVInputInfo serves as a child TVInputInfo. To identify the parent-child relationship between the second TVInputInfo and the first TVInputInfo, a ParentID may be generated based on the second InputID in the second TVInputInfo, the ParentID being the same as the second InputID in the second TVInputInfo.
The device information sent by the external device may be determined according to the actual situation of the external device, for example, the device information may be information such as a device model of the external device, a manufacturer name of the external device, and the like, and the device information sent by the external device is not specifically limited in this application.
At step 202, a first TVInputInfo is generated based on the first InputID and the ParentID.
After the first InputID is obtained according to the device information reported by the external device and the ParentID is generated according to the second InputID in the second TVInputInfo, the first TVInputInfo may be generated based on the first InputID and the ParentID, and the generated first TVInputInfo includes the first InputID and the ParentID.
In the above step 101, how to generate the first TVInputInfo corresponding to the HDMI port based on the device information reported by the external device is described. It should be noted that the above description is only an example, and not a limitation to the embodiments of the present application.
The following describes operations performed by the display device when the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo is inconsistent with the InputID bound to the current playback channel:
referring to fig. 8, the operations performed by the display device may include:
step 301, checking whether the ParentID in the first TVInputInfo is consistent with the InputID bound to the current playing channel; if yes, go to step 302; if not, go to step 303.
This step is executed on the premise that the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo is not consistent with the InputID bound to the current playback channel.
As described above, if the playback channel is not switched again after the display device switches the playback channel to the HDMI channel accessed by the external device, the InputID bound to the current playback channel is the second InputID. Also, since the second TVInputInfo is different from the InputID in the first TVInputInfo, the ParentID in the first TVInputInfo is the same as the InputID in the second TVInputInfo. Therefore, whether the partentid in the first TVInputInfo is the same as the InputID bound to the current playback channel or not can be checked, whether the playback channel is switched over or not can be checked after the display device switches the playback channel to the HDMI channel to which the external device is connected, and the current playback channel is kept from being switched under the condition that channel switching does not occur.
Step 302, forbidding switching the current playing channel according to the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo.
This step 302 is performed on the premise that the ParentID in the first TVInputInfo is consistent with the InputID bound to the current playing channel.
When the ParentID in the first TVInputInfo is consistent with the InputID of the current playing channel binding, it indicates that the InputID of the current playing channel binding is the second InputID in the second TVInputInfo. Since the HDMI channel bound by the second InputID in the second TVInputInfo is the same as the HDMI channel bound by the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo, that is, the HDMI channel to which the external device is connected, it is not necessary to switch the playback channel according to the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo.
Step 303, the current playback channel is switched to the HDMI channel bound by the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo.
This step 302 is performed on the premise that the ParentID in the first TVInputInfo is not consistent with the InputID bound to the current playing channel.
When the ParentID is not consistent with the InputID bound to the current playback channel, it indicates that the InputID bound to the current playback channel is not the second InputID in the second TVInputInfo, which means that the current playback channel and the HDMI channel accessed by the external device are not the same HDMI channel. Based on this, in order to enable the display device to play the multimedia content provided by the external device through the HDMI channel accessed by the external device, the current play channel needs to be switched according to the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo, and the current play channel is switched to the HDMI channel bound by the first InputID, that is, the HDMI channel accessed by the external device, so that the display device can play the multimedia content provided by the external device through the switched HDMI.
The above description is made on the operation performed by the display device in the case that the first InputID in the first TVInputInfo is inconsistent with the InputID bound to the current playback channel.
