If not, then no vehicle is prompted to park within the parking lot 304 and the driver may choose to either re-bind the vehicle or exit the current navigation 305. If so, the vehicle position is displayed by the display device and the searched path 303 is displayed. Preferably, the optimal path is displayed.
In one embodiment, the find vehicle navigation process 400 is described with reference to fig. 4, in accordance with an aspect of the present invention, the consultant walks to the consultant feedback device for facial recognition 401, the facial recognition device recognizes the facial information, and issues an inquiry to the storage module whether a bound (associated) license plate exists 402 in the storage module. If a binding exists, it is checked whether the bound vehicle is on-site. In one embodiment, if there is a counselor binding multiple license plates, then the vehicles are checked for being in the field in turn according to the time sequence of the last entry 403. If so, a presence vehicle 404 ranked first is automatically selected if there is at least one vehicle present in the parking lot. If not, a vehicle is not present, the advisor is prompted that the vehicle is not present, and the process ends 405. The route finding module provides an optimal route according to the vehicle position, the map information and the position of the advisory feedback device receiving the advisory and displays the optimal route through the output device to start navigation 406. Facial information of the person consulted and the time when the consultation occurred, and the object sought and its location are recorded in the storage module at the same time. If the bound license plate (namely, no associated object) does not exist in the storage module, inquiring whether the consultant chooses to register or not so as to keep the consultant information and the bound license plate in the system for the next search for a long time; or choose not to register, only bind the number plate and face information of the counselor once. In one embodiment, if not registered, the consultant needs to initiate a press to license plate seek 413, enter license plate number 414 and temporarily bind consultant facial information 415, and then begin navigation 406. In one embodiment, if the counselor is selected to register as a member, the counselor will need to complete a first registration and bind license plate 407, wherein successful registration will require binding of counselor facial information 410, which registration will simultaneously connect 420 with the external member database to exchange member data and then start navigation 406.
The following example describes how the correlation of the querier with the car is implemented.
In one embodiment, the association means has facial recognition means, input means and output means; there may also be one or more of the following identification means: mobile communication device identification means, two-dimensional code reader, NFC reader, and biometric information identification means (identifying voice, fingerprint, palm print, etc.).
In one embodiment, the associated device is a stand-alone device. In another embodiment, the association means is part of the advisory feedback device, which shares the facial recognition means, the input means and the output means with the advisory feedback device.
In one embodiment, when an inquirer, i.e., a driver, drives a vehicle into a parking lot, an association apparatus installed at an entrance of the parking lot may simultaneously recognize and associate face information and a license plate number of the driver.
In one embodiment, the inquirer inputs the license plate number by using an input device of the associating device, and the associating device simultaneously recognizes and associates the face information of the inquirer with the input license plate number.
In another embodiment, the association means is in electrical communication with an external database via the storage module, the database including at least one of the following information for the consultant: membership card/number, cell phone number, biometric information (facial, voice, fingerprint or palm print information); and a license plate number associated with the information. The inquirer uses the identification device of the association device to identify the membership card/membership number, mobile phone number or biological information provided by the inquirer by the common method in the field, and the association device searches in the external database, receives feedback of the license plate number associated with the information and then associates the license plate number with the facial information identified by the facial identification device of the association device. The above identification can be realized by adopting common means such as identifying the MAC address and the two-dimensional code of the mobile phone of the counselor, reading a card, detecting voice/palm print/fingerprint and the like.
In one embodiment, a consultant is allowed to bind a license plate number (i.e., a consultant is only associated with one object, one-to-one); allowing multiple consultants to bind a license plate number (i.e. multiple consultants associate an object, many-to-one); or allowing one consultant to bind multiple license plate numbers (i.e., one consultant associates multiple objects, one-to-many). The face recognition device recognizes face information of a consultant, inquires that one consultant binds a plurality of license plate numbers, more than one license plate exists in a field, and has position information, and then the consultant is required to confirm which vehicle needs to be searched and then starts to calculate a path. In one embodiment, the consultant is a member, allowing one vehicle to be designated as the default vehicle without further confirmation.
In one embodiment, the displayed sought bound vehicle is not the target that the consultant wants to seek, or the consultant wishes to add a new vehicle as the seeking target, and may exit the route display to initiate a new seeking process.
The following examples describe how confirmation of the parking position of a car is effected in a parking lot.
In some embodiments, a video technology-based parking lot management system is employed to identify the license plate number of a vehicle parked in each parking space.
In one embodiment, a camera is installed in front of the parking spaces to identify the vehicle parked in each parking space. The camera can be a common camera and is used for identifying 1-4 parking spaces on one side of the lane, and 1 parking space is preferred. The camera can also be a 360-degree camera or a back-to-back camera for identifying 1-8 parking spaces on two sides of the lane, preferably 2 parking spaces. It is recognized that this method is relatively simple to install and highly visible, but for large parking lots, a large number of cameras are required, which makes wiring cumbersome and costly. If one tries to cover e.g. 8 parking spaces with one camera, the camera needs to be mounted at a remote location (e.g. over 10 meters). The installation mode is limited by various environments, particularly in urban parking lots, the parking lots are easily shielded, and the effect of recognizing the license plate numbers is limited.
In one embodiment, as will be understood by those skilled in the art, a modeling method is used in conjunction with a camera, or other methods such as a background subtraction method, a fisher image threshold segmentation method, a quadtree segmentation algorithm, etc. are directly identified by using the features of the vehicle object or the parking space object, and one camera may cover up to 24 parking space spaces, preferably 12-16 parking space spaces. And the installation is simpler and more convenient, and the economic benefit is high. Similar technical effects can be obtained.
In one example, the license plate number recognition device recognizes the license plate number when the vehicle enters the parking lot, the vehicle is assigned a unique parking space, the vehicle is only allowed and only stops at the designated parking space, and the storage module automatically records the designated parking space.
It is contemplated by those skilled in the art that any other method capable of confirming a parking location of a car within a parking lot may be applied to the present invention.
The present invention has many variations that can be anticipated by those skilled in the art and which will achieve the results of the use of the present invention.
For example, the place is a mall or theme park, and the object to be searched is a rented baby carriage, a wheelchair or other specific objects. The specific object is provided with a portable positioning device so as to be suitable for common positioning technologies in the market, such as geomagnetic positioning, WiFi positioning, Bluetooth positioning, GPS positioning and the like. The presence association device can simultaneously read the facial information of the counselor and the portable positioning device information on the object, automatically record and associate the counselor with the object when the counselor carries/pushes the specific object through the association device. Thus, when the consultant stands in front of the consultation feedback device, the invention can be realized according to the description.
The methods provided by the example embodiments in this specification are by way of example only, and the examples of one method are not intended to limit the examples of another method. The apparatus/methods discussed in one figure may be added to or exchanged with the apparatus/methods in other figures. Moreover, specific numeric data values (e.g., specific numbers, quantities, categories, etc.) or other specific information are used only to discuss the example embodiments and are not used to limit the example embodiments to such specific information.
