Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1 to 4, it is shown that the hand clamping prevention brake handle of the present invention includes a fixing base 10, a brake handle 20, a shaft bolt 30, a spring 40 and an adjusting knob 50. Wherein:
the fixing base 10 includes an upper base 11, a lower base 12 and a plurality of connecting bolts 13. The upper end of the upper seat 11 has two lugs 14 arranged in parallel at intervals, the lower end has an upper semicircular arc groove 15 with a downward opening, one side of each of the two lugs 14 is respectively provided with two fins 140, a containing groove 16 extending to the center of the upper semicircular arc groove 15 and being open is arranged at the lower side inside the upper seat 11, the containing groove 16 can be used for containing a fixing head 61 of a brake cable 60, and a groove 17 is arranged at one side of the containing groove 16 and extends to the side of the upper seat 11 and being open so as to facilitate the passing of a lead 62 of the brake cable 60. The lower seat 12 has a lower semi-circular arc groove 18 for engaging with the upper semi-circular arc groove 15 to clamp on a bicycle handlebar 70. The plurality of connecting bolts 13 are symmetrically disposed and used to screw-connect the lower base 12 and the upper base 11.
The brake handle 20 includes a handle portion 21 and a driving portion 22 extending downward from a head end of the handle portion 21. The rear end of the handle 21 is formed with an upwardly curved arc 23 for preventing the user's hand from slipping out. The driving portion 22 is disposed between the two tabs 14, and has an axial hole 24 and a spring slot 25 at an end close to the handle portion 21, a screw hole 26 penetrating through two opposite sides is disposed at an end far from the handle portion 21, and a groove 27 extending to the side for opening is disposed at one side of the screw hole 26 for the wire 62 to pass in and out.
The shaft bolt 30 is combined with the two lugs 14 and the shaft hole 24 of the brake handle 20, so that the brake handle 20 can swing around the shaft bolt 30.
The spring 40 is disposed in the spring slot 25 and is used for the shaft bolt 30 to pass through, one end of the spring abuts against the brake handle 20, and the other end of the spring abuts against the fixing base 10, so as to provide an elastic force for the brake handle 20 to return after being pressed.
The adjusting knob 50 includes an adjusting bolt 51 and a positioning nut 52, one end of the adjusting bolt 51 has a stud 53 for locking the adjusting bolt 51 in the screw hole 26, and the adjusting bolt 51 has a through hole 54 penetrating through both ends for the wire 62 to pass through, and the other end of the through hole 54 has an insertion groove 55 with a larger inner diameter for the insertion of the end of a conduit 63 of the brake cable 60. One side of the through hole 54 has a bolt slot 56 extending to the periphery for easy access of the wire 62. The positioning nut 52 is disposed on the stud 53 for positioning the adjusting bolt 51 at a desired screw length. The positioning nut 52 has a nut slot 57 on one side through to the inside for the wire 62 to enter and exit.
As can be seen from fig. 1, 2 and 3, after the fixing head 61 of the brake cable 60 is inserted into the receiving slot 16, the wire 62 can easily enter the screw hole 26 and the through hole 54 through the design of the slot 17, the groove 27, the nut groove 57 and the bolt groove 56, so that one end of the conduit 63 can be easily inserted into the insertion slot 55, and at this time, the adjusting bolt 51 and the positioning nut 52 are rotated to make the bolt groove 56, the nut groove 57 and the groove 27 form a staggered state, so as to prevent the wire 62 from being detached; on the contrary, the wire 62 can be easily detached by rotating the adjusting bolt 51 and the positioning nut 52 to align the bolt slot 56 and the nut slot 57 with the groove 27. Therefore, the brake cable 60 is convenient, fast and simple to assemble and disassemble.
Referring to fig. 3 and 4, when the user presses the handle 21 of the brake handle 20, the brake handle 20 swings around the axle pin 30 to move the handle 21 toward the bicycle handlebar 70, a clamping opening a is formed between the driving portion 22 and the upper seat 11 of the fixing seat 10, and then the driving portion 22 pushes the guide tube 63 through the adjusting knob 50, and the fixing head 61 at one end of the wire 62 is fixed in the receiving groove 16 of the upper seat 11, so that the brake (not shown) is actuated to generate a braking effect when the guide tube 63 is pushed by the driving portion 22. When the user releases the handle 21 of the brake handle 20, the spring 40 will reset the brake handle 20, and the brake will not generate braking effect. Since the position of the clamping opening a formed when the brake handle 20 is actuated is located on a side of the fixing base 10 different from the handle portion 21 and below the brake cable 60, especially the opening of the clamping opening a faces the bicycle handle 70 (i.e. faces inward), the fingers of the user can not be clamped by the clamping opening a by bypassing the fixing base 10 and the brake cable 60 at all, thereby avoiding the problem of injury of the clamped fingers. In addition, the two wings 140 of the fixing base 10 can also cover the clamping opening a, so that fingers can be further prevented from being clamped by the clamping opening a, and the fixing base has better safety.
Referring to fig. 1, 2 and 5, the anti-pinch brake handle of the present invention includes an upper seat 11 and a lower seat 12 of a fixing seat 10 clamped and fixed to the bicycle handle 70 by an upper semi-circular arc groove 15 and a lower semi-circular arc groove 18, so that the front and back of the fixing seat 10 and the front and back of the shape are symmetrical (i.e. the front and back have the same shape after being turned over), and the accommodating groove 16 of the fixing seat 10 for accommodating the fixing head 61 of the brake cable 60 is also disposed at the center of the upper semi-circular arc groove 15, so that the anti-pinch brake handle of a single specification can be universally installed on the left or right side of the bicycle handle 70 without the need of separately opening the mold to design the specifications of the left and right sides, thereby greatly reducing the manufacturing cost. Moreover, the corresponding spare parts can be carried only by one group to deal with the maintenance and replacement of the brake handle on the left side or the right side of the bicycle handle 70, so the spare parts are convenient to carry and occupy less space.
Various modifications or additions may be made to the described embodiments or alternatives may be employed by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit or ambit of the invention as defined in the appended claims.
