The electronic cigarette of claim 1, wherein the mounting slot has at least one protruding contact pin therein for electrically connecting to the main body, the atomizing device has at least one corresponding contact member, the at least one contact member is electrically connected to the corresponding contact pin when the atomizing device partially extends out of the mounting slot, and the at least one contact member is disconnected from the corresponding contact pin when the atomizing device is fully received in the mounting slot.
