Background
With the continuous development of backlight display technology, display devices such as liquid crystal displays (LiquidCrystal Display, LCDs) have been widely used as display components in electronic products such as mobile phones, televisions, and the like. With the narrowing of the frame of electronic products and the continuous progress of technology, the large size and narrow frame of LCD display are becoming the mainstream demands of the market.
The narrow border means that the screen area seen under the same size is larger and the visual effect is better. Existing display devices generally include: the display device comprises a back plate, a light guide plate, an optical film, a display panel and a frame arranged around the back plate, wherein the display panel is covered and fixed by the frame. However, the above design will cover the surrounding area of the panel, which is not beneficial to the narrow frame requirement of the product, and also reduces the display area of the panel.

Before proceeding to the detailed description, it should be noted that similar components are denoted by the same reference numerals.
Referring to fig. 1, a display device according to a preferred embodiment of the invention includes a backlight module a, at least one adhesive member B disposed on the backlight module a, and a panel C adhered by the adhesive member B. The backlight module A comprises a back plate 2, a light guide plate 3 arranged on the back plate 2, a frame 4 arranged around the back plate 2, a plurality of diaphragms 5 overlapped on the light guide plate 3, and a reflecting sheet 6 arranged between the back plate 2 and the light guide plate 3. Since the basic structure of the backlight module a is understood by those skilled in the art, the partial structure of the backlight module a after being assembled is only partially shown in fig. 1.
The frame 4 has a carrying portion 4A and a side wall portion 4B extending upward from a periphery of the carrying portion 4A, and the frame 4 is spliced by at least two frames. The adhesive B is disposed on the carrying portion 4A of the frame 4, and the panel C is adhered to the carrying portion 4A of the frame 4 by the at least one adhesive B and is not shielded by any portion of the frame 4. Meanwhile, the top surface of the panel C is located on the same plane as the top surface of the side wall portion 4B of the frame 4.
It should be noted that, as shown in fig. 2, the frame 4 may be formed by splicing a first frame 41 and a second frame 42, where the first frame 41 has an inverted U shape and the second frame 42 has a straight shape. In addition, as shown in fig. 3, the frame 4 may be formed by splicing two first frames 41 and two second frames 42, wherein the first frames 41 and the second frames 42 are both in a straight shape, and two ends of any one first frame 41 are respectively spliced with the two second frames 42. In the following description, both the type shown in fig. 2 and the type shown in fig. 3 are applicable.
Referring to fig. 4, the first frame 41 has a first body 411, two first combining members 412 located at two ends of the first body 411, the second frame 42 has a second body 421, and two second combining members 422 located at two ends of the second body 421, and the first combining members 412 and the second combining members 422 are mutually matched in shape to perform splicing. In fig. 4 to 17, only one first bonding element 412 and one second bonding element 422 are shown due to the view angle.
Referring to fig. 4, each first combining member 412 has a neck 413 extending outward from the first body 411, and a locking portion 414 extending outward from the neck 413, wherein the thickness of the locking portion 414 is greater than that of the neck 413, and the neck 413, the locking portion 414, and the first body 411 jointly surround a groove 415. Each second connecting piece 422 has a convex wall 423 accommodated in the groove 415 and a concave portion 424 accommodating the locking portion 414. When the first frame 41 and the second frame 42 are to be combined, the locking portion 414 of the first connecting piece 412 is aligned with the concave portion 424 of the second connecting piece 422, and the groove 415 of the first connecting piece 412 is aligned with the convex portion 423 of the second connecting piece 422, so as to be vertically assembled in the viewing angle direction shown in fig. 4. Of course, the structure of the first connector 412 and the structure of the second connector 422 may be interchanged as shown in fig. 5.
Referring to fig. 6, the first frame 41 and the second frame 42 may also have a combination structure in which each first combining member 412 has a neck 413 extending outward from the first body 411, and a locking portion 414 extending outward from the neck 413, and each second combining member 422 has a through slot 425 for accommodating the neck 413 and the locking portion 414. Alternatively, as shown in fig. 7 and 8, the maximum width of the locking portion 414 of each first coupling member 412 is greater than the maximum width of the neck 413. The combined state of fig. 6 to 8 is also vertically assembled in the viewing angle direction shown in the drawings. Of course, the structure of the first coupling member 412 and the structure of the second coupling member 422 can be interchanged.
Referring to fig. 9 and 10, each first coupling member 412 has a protrusion 416 extending from the first body 411, the thickness of the protrusion 416 is smaller than that of the first body 411, and each second coupling member 422 has a sliding slot 426 for slidably engaging the protrusion 416. When assembling, the projection 416 is slid into the chute 426 in a horizontal pushing manner in the viewing direction of fig. 9 and 10, so as to horizontally push and assemble the first frame 41 and the second frame 42. Of course, the structure of the first connector 412 and the structure of the second connector 422 may be interchanged as shown in fig. 11 and 12. In addition, the cross-sectional shape of the bump 416 may be selected from triangle, L-shape, or rectangle as shown in fig. 13 to 15, and the sliding groove 426 is matched with the above-mentioned shape.
Referring to fig. 16, each first coupling member 412 further has a first fixing hole 417 formed on the protrusion 416, and each second coupling member 422 further has a second fixing hole 427 formed on the second coupling member 422 and communicating with the chute 426. When assembled, the projection 416 is slid into the chute 426 in a horizontal pushing manner in the viewing direction of fig. 9, so as to horizontally push and assemble the first frame 41 and the second frame 42. In this assembled configuration, the first fixing hole 417 is configured as a screw hole, the second fixing hole 427 is configured as a through hole, the frame 4 further has a plurality of screw members 43, and each screw member 43 passes through the corresponding first fixing hole 417 and the second fixing hole 427 and is locked in the second fixing hole 427, so as to lock and fix the first frame 41 and the second frame 42 that overlap each other.
In addition to the structure shown in fig. 16, as shown in fig. 17, each first combining member 412 further has a rivet stud 418 disposed on the protrusion 416, and each second combining member 422 further has a second fixing hole 427 formed on the second combining member 422 and communicating with the chute 426. In this assembled state, the second fixing hole 427 is designed as a through hole, and after the first frame 41 and the second frame 42 overlap each other, each screw 43 passes through the corresponding second fixing hole 427 and the rivet 418 and is locked to the rivet 418, so as to lock and fix the first frame 41 and the second frame 42 that overlap each other.
As can be seen from the above description, the combination of the frame 4 of the display device of the present invention not only simplifies the assembly process and assembly of the first frame 41 and the second frame 42, but also provides various assembly possibilities. The connecting sheet is not required to be additionally used between the frames, so that the number of assembly components is reduced. The panel C is not shielded by the frame, and meets the requirement of a narrow frame. Furthermore, after the first frame 41 and the second frame 42 are combined and then the adhesive B is attached, the joint of the first frame and the second frame can be hidden under the panel C, so as to improve the overall aesthetic appearance. In addition, since the joint is designed in the thickness direction of the first frame 41 and the second frame 42 and is joined in a concave-convex manner, no protrusion is formed in the thickness direction, which is beneficial to the thinning effect of large-sized products such as televisions, the object of the present invention can be achieved.
However, the foregoing is only illustrative of the preferred embodiments of the present invention and is not intended to limit the scope of the invention, i.e., the invention is not limited to the specific embodiments described herein, but is to be accorded the full scope of the claims.
