By means of the scheme, since a partial area in a page (the page may be a long page) of the desktop of the electronic device may be associated with some applications, on one hand, if an area already has an association relationship with one application (for example, a first application in the embodiment of the present invention), when a user triggers the electronic device to display the area (in general, the area may be hidden), the electronic device may directly run the application associated with the area and display an interface of the application in the area, without manually triggering the electronic device to run the application by the user, so that the application may be run quickly; on the other hand, when the electronic device displays the region, a control for triggering creation or deletion of the association relationship between the region and the application may be displayed, so that a user can trigger the electronic device to create or delete the association relationship between the region and the application by inputting the control, thereby flexibly controlling whether to run the application quickly. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention can flexibly control whether to rapidly run the application or not, or can rapidly run the application, thereby improving the man-machine interaction performance.
The electronic device in the embodiment of the present invention may be an electronic device having an operating system. The operating system may be an Android (Android) operating system, an ios operating system, or other possible operating systems, and embodiments of the present invention are not limited in particular.
The following takes an android operating system as an example to describe a software environment to which the display method provided by the embodiment of the present invention is applied.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an architecture of a possible android operating system according to an embodiment of the present invention. In fig. 1, the architecture of the android operating system includes 4 layers, which are respectively: an application layer, an application framework layer, a system runtime layer, and a kernel layer (specifically, a Linux kernel layer).
The application program layer comprises various application programs (including system application programs and third-party application programs) in an android operating system. Illustratively, the application program layer may include a first application having an association relationship with the second area, a second application having an association relationship with the third area, and the like in the embodiment of the present invention. The electronic device may display an interface of the first application in the second area and may display an interface of the second application in the third area.
The application framework layer is a framework of the application, and a developer can develop some applications based on the application framework layer under the condition of complying with the development principle of the framework of the application. For example, an application related to the embodiment of the present invention, which has an association relationship with the second region or the third region, may be developed based on the application framework layer.
Generally, an application program in the embodiment of the present invention may include two parts, for example, a desktop application program (hereinafter, may be referred to as a desktop), where one part refers to a desktop service (service) running in a background of an electronic device, and is used to detect an input triggered by a user, determine a first area where the input is located, and determine a first area where the input is triggered to be displayed; the other part refers to content displayed on the screen of the electronic device, for example, a first area determined by the background service is updated and displayed as a second area, and an interface of the first application, an interface of the second application, the first control, the second control and the like are displayed in the second area.
The system runtime layer includes libraries (also called system libraries) and android operating system runtime environments. The library mainly provides various resources required by the android operating system. The android operating system running environment is used for providing a software environment for the android operating system.
The kernel layer is an operating system layer of an android operating system and belongs to the bottommost layer of an android operating system software layer. The kernel layer provides kernel system services and hardware-related drivers for the android operating system based on the Linux kernel.
Taking an android operating system as an example, in the embodiment of the present invention, a developer may develop a software program for implementing the display method provided in the embodiment of the present invention based on the system architecture of the android operating system shown in fig. 1, so that the display method may operate based on the android operating system shown in fig. 1. That is, the processor or the electronic device may implement the display method provided by the embodiment of the present invention by running the software program in the android operating system.
The electronic device in the embodiment of the invention can be a mobile electronic device or a non-mobile electronic device. For example, the mobile electronic device may be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a palm top computer, a vehicle-mounted terminal, a wearable device, an ultra-mobile personal computer (UMPC), a netbook or a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), and the like, and the non-mobile electronic device may be a Personal Computer (PC), a Television (TV), a teller machine or a self-service machine, and the like, and the embodiment of the present invention is not particularly limited.
The execution main body of the display method provided by the embodiment of the present invention may be the electronic device, or may also be a functional module and/or a functional entity capable of implementing the display method in the electronic device, which may be determined specifically according to actual use requirements, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited. The following takes an electronic device as an example to exemplarily explain a display method provided by an embodiment of the present invention.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, a page in which an area having an association relationship with one application is located may be a page in a desktop of an electronic device. The page may be a long page, i.e. the display size of the page in one direction is larger than the display size of the screen of the electronic device in that direction. The page may be divided into at least two parts, and for example, the page may be divided into two parts, one part (for example, the first area in the embodiment of the present invention) may be used to display the desktop icon, and the other part (for example, the second area in the embodiment of the present invention) may be used to associate the application. It will be appreciated that in general, the electronic device may display the first area and hide the second area, and the user may trigger the electronic device to display the second area by an input at the first area.
Of course, when a page can be divided into three or more parts, at least one of the parts can be used for displaying desktop icons, that is, in this case, the number of the first areas can be multiple; at least two further sections may be used for the associated application, i.e. in this case the number of second areas mentioned above may be multiple. When the number of the first regions is multiple, the multiple first regions may be arranged adjacently or arranged at intervals with the second region; when the number of the second regions is plural, the plural second regions may be arranged at one end of the first region, or may be arranged at both ends of the first region. The method can be determined according to actual use requirements, and the embodiment of the invention is not limited.
The display sizes of the first area and the second area may not be limited in the embodiments of the present invention. That is, the display size of the first region and the display size of the second region may be the same or different. Moreover, the display size of the first area and the display size of the screen of the electronic equipment can be the same or different; the display size of the second area may be the same as or different from the display size of the screen of the electronic device.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, a display size of the first area in at least one direction is the same as a display size of a screen of the electronic device in the direction. The display size of the second area in at least one direction is the same as the display size of the screen of the electronic device in that direction. For example, the display size of the first area and the second area in the first direction is the same as the display size of the screen of the electronic device in the first direction. The first direction may be a direction in which the first region and the second region are sequentially arranged.
Exemplarily, as shown in fig. 2, a schematic diagram of a relationship between a screen of an electronic device and the first area and the second area is shown. As shown in fig. 2, taking the number of the first areas as one and the number of the second areas as two as an example, as shown in (a) of fig. 2 or (b) of fig. 2, the first area 20 may be displayed on the screen of the electronic device, and the second area 21 and the second area 22 are located in a direction opposite to the first direction 23 of the first area 20.
It should be noted that, the descriptions, examples, and the like in the embodiments of the present invention are exemplarily described by taking an example that the number of the first area and the second area is one, and the display size of the first area and the display size of the second area in the first direction are the same as the display size of the screen of the electronic device in the first direction. In actual implementation, the determination may be made according to actual use requirements, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited.
The display method provided by the embodiment of the invention can be executed in the following three scenes (namely scene one, scene two and scene three). These two scenarios are described below as examples.
In the first scenario, a user needs to run an application (hereinafter referred to as application 1), and the application 1 has an association relationship with a partial area (hereinafter referred to as area a) of a page in a desktop of an electronic device.
In a scenario one, when a user needs to run an application 1 having an association relationship with an area a, the user may input in another area (hereinafter, may be referred to as an area B) of the page to trigger the electronic device to display the area a (the area a is originally hidden), and since the area a has an association relationship with the application 1, the electronic device may run the application 1 when the electronic device displays the area a, and display an interface of the application 1 in the area a. Therefore, the electronic equipment can automatically run the application 1, and the electronic equipment can be triggered to run the application 1 by inputting the icon without searching the icon of the application 1 in a desktop page by a user, so that the process of running the application 1 can be simplified, and the human-computer interaction performance is improved.
It can be understood that, in the embodiment of the present invention, if there are a plurality of applications having an association relationship with a certain area, when the area displays the interfaces of the plurality of applications, the interfaces of the plurality of applications may be displayed in a split screen manner. In particular, interfaces of different ones of the plurality of applications may be displayed in different portions of the area.
And in a second scenario, when the user needs to quickly trigger the electronic device to run a certain application, the user may first trigger the electronic device to associate the application (hereinafter referred to as application 2) with a partial area (hereinafter referred to as area C) of one page in the desktop of the electronic device.
In the second scenario, if the user needs to quickly trigger the electronic device to run the application 2, the user may first trigger the electronic device to associate the application 2 with the area C. Specifically, the electronic device may input in another region of the page to trigger the electronic device to display the region C (the region C is originally hidden), and after the electronic device displays the region C, the user may trigger the electronic device to create the association relationship between the region C and the application 2 by inputting a control (e.g., a first control in the embodiment of the present invention) for triggering the creation of the association relationship between the region C and the application in the region C. It is understood that after the electronic device creates the association relationship between the area C and the application 2, when the electronic device displays the area C, the interface of the application 2 can be displayed in the area C. Therefore, the user can trigger the electronic equipment to create the association relationship between the area and the application by inputting according to the use requirement of the user on the application, so that the electronic equipment can be controlled to quickly run the application, the flexibility of running the application can be improved, and the man-machine interaction performance can be improved.
And in a third scenario, when the user does not need to quickly trigger the electronic device to run a certain application, the user can trigger the electronic device to delete the association relationship between the application (hereinafter referred to as application 3) and a partial area of one page of the desktop of the electronic device (namely, an area having an association relationship with the application, hereinafter referred to as area D).
In the third scenario, if the user does not need to quickly trigger the electronic device to run the application 3 and the application 3 has an association relationship with the area D, the user may trigger the electronic device to delete the association relationship between the application 3 and the area D. Specifically, the user may input in another area of the page to trigger the electronic device to display the area D, and after the electronic device displays the area D, the user may trigger the electronic device to delete the association relationship between the area D and the application 3 by inputting a control (e.g., a first control in the embodiment of the present invention) for triggering the deletion of the association relationship between the area D and the application in the area D. It is to be understood that, after the electronic device deletes the association relationship between the area D and the application 3, the electronic device may cancel displaying the interface of the application 3 in the area D. Therefore, the user can trigger the electronic equipment to delete the association relation between the area and the application by inputting according to the use requirement of the user on the application, so that the electronic equipment can be controlled not to rapidly run the application any more, the flexibility of running the application can be improved, and the man-machine interaction performance can be improved.
For convenience of description, unless otherwise specified, the following embodiments of the present invention are exemplarily described by taking an application having an association relationship with a certain region (for example, the second region and the third region in the embodiments of the present invention) as an example.
The following describes an exemplary display method provided by an embodiment of the present invention with reference to the drawings.
As shown in fig. 3, an embodiment of the present invention provides a display method, which may include S201 and S202 described below.
S201, the electronic equipment receives a first input of a user on a first area in a first page.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the first page may be a page in a desktop of the electronic device. Wherein the first page may include a first area and a second area. The first area may be used to display desktop icons and the second area may be used for associated applications. Of course, the first page may also include other regions that may be used to display desktop icons; may also be used for related applications; it may also be used partly for displaying desktop icons and partly for associated applications.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, the desktop icon may be an icon of an application program, may also be an icon of a folder, and may also be an icon in any possible form, such as a widget, a shortcut, and the like, which is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
In the embodiment of the invention, the first area of the first page can be used for displaying the desktop icon, and the second area of the first page can be used for displaying the interface of the application having the association relation with the second area, that is, the same page of the electronic device desktop can include both the desktop icon and the interface of the application, so that the display flexibility of the page can be improved.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the first input may be specifically used to trigger the electronic device to display the second area. That is, only the first area is displayed on the screen of the electronic device before the user performs the first input.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present invention, the first input may be a sliding input of a user on the first area along the first direction.
The first direction may be a direction opposite to the direction of the second region with respect to the first region. That is, it can be understood that the second region and the first region may be sequentially arranged along the first direction in the first page.
For example, as shown in (a) of fig. 4, assuming that the second regions 30 and the first regions 31 are arranged in the first page 32 in sequence in the direction indicated by the arrow 33 in (a) of fig. 3, the first direction is the direction indicated by the arrow 33, that is, the user can slide on the first page 32 in the direction indicated by the arrow 33. For another example, as shown in fig. 3 (b), assuming that the second regions 30 and the first regions 31 are arranged in the first page 32 in sequence in the direction indicated by the arrow 34 in fig. 3 (b), the first direction is the direction indicated by the arrow 34, that is, the user can slide on the first page 32 in the direction indicated by the arrow 34.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, the first direction and the second direction may be different directions. The second direction may be an input direction of an input that a user triggers the electronic device to switch between pages in the desktop of the electronic device.
Specifically, in the embodiment of the present invention, the first direction and the second direction may be perpendicular or approximately perpendicular (for example, an included angle between the two directions is within an angle range, and an absolute value of a difference between a boundary value of the angle range and 90 ° is smaller than or equal to a preset threshold).
In an embodiment of the present invention, when the pages in the desktop of the electronic device are arranged laterally with respect to the electronic device, the second direction may be a lateral direction (a direction perpendicular or approximately perpendicular to the direction shown by 23 in fig. 2), and the first direction may be a longitudinal direction (a direction shown by 23 in fig. 2). When the pages in the electronic device desktop are arranged longitudinally with respect to the electronic device, the second direction may be a longitudinal direction, and the first direction may be a transverse direction.
In the embodiment of the invention, because the second area and the first area are sequentially arranged in the first page along the first direction, when the electronic device only displays the first area, the user can trigger the electronic device to display the second area by sliding in the first area along the first direction, for example, the first area is updated and displayed as the second area. Therefore, the accuracy of displaying the second area by the electronic equipment can be improved.
S202, the electronic equipment responds to the first input and updates and displays the first area as a second area in the first page.
Wherein the second area may include at least one of: an interface of a first application, a first control. The first application may be an application having an association with the second area, and the first control may be used to trigger creation or deletion of the association of the second area with the application.
In the embodiment of the present invention, an application has an association relationship with an area, which may be understood as that an application identifier of the application is associated or bound with an area identifier of the area. The area identifier may be an area index, an area path (i.e. an index of the area + an index of a page where the area is located), and the like, and the application identifier may be an application name, an application number, and the like.
For example, if the application name of an application is associated with the area index of an area, the application may be an application having an association relationship with the area.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, the first application may be any one of the following applications: the user triggers the created application, the predefined application, the application created according to the historical usage frequency of the application.
The predefined application may be an application preset by a manufacturer of the electronic device, or may trigger the preset application for the user, for example, an application setting option may be designed in a setting application program, and the application setting option may be used for setting the application by the user. It can be understood that, when the user does not set an application in the application setting option, the application setting option may be null or may be an application preset by a manufacturer of the electronic device. The user may trigger the addition or modification of an application in the settings option. The historical use frequency may be a frequency of a majority of user historical use applications collected by a server of the electronic device, or may also be a frequency of user historical use applications of the electronic device collected by the electronic device, which may be determined specifically according to actual use requirements, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, when the first application is an application created by the electronic device according to a historical usage frequency of the application, the first application may be an application whose historical usage frequency is greater than or equal to a frequency threshold (specifically, may be determined according to an actual usage requirement).
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, when the number of the second areas in the first page is multiple, the first application may include one or more applications described above, which may be determined specifically according to actual usage requirements, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited. For example, assuming that the number of second areas is two, the first application having an association relationship with one second area may be a predefined application, and the application having an association relationship with another second area may trigger a created application for the user.
In the embodiment of the invention, because the first application can be created and set in various ways, the association relationship between the area and different applications can be flexibly created, so that the association flexibility between the area and the applications can be improved, and the flexibility of the electronic equipment for quickly running the applications can be further improved.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, when the electronic device displays the first region in the first page, and when the user slides in the first region along the first direction, in a sliding process, the electronic device may control the first page to move along the first direction in response to the sliding input, until a moving distance of the electronic device controlling the first page to move along the first direction is greater than or equal to a preset distance (which may be specifically determined according to an actual use requirement), that the electronic device updates the displayed first region to the second region, that is, the electronic device updates and displays the first region to the second region.
It should be noted that, the displaying of the first area in the first page by the electronic device refers to: the electronic device displays only the first area and displays the complete first area. In the process that the electronic device controls the first page to move along the first direction, the electronic device can display the first area and the second area simultaneously and display the incomplete first area and the incomplete second area. After the electronic device updates the displayed first area to the second area, the electronic device only displays the second area and displays the complete second area.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the electronic device displays the second area, if the second area has a relationship with the first application, the electronic device may run the first application and display an interface of the first application in the second area. Further, the electronic device may also display the first control in a second area. Correspondingly, when the electronic device displays the second area, if the second area is not associated with any application, the electronic device may display the first control in the second area.
The manner in which the electronic device displays the interface of the first application in the second area is exemplarily described below.
For example, in the embodiment of the present invention, when the electronic device displays the second area and the second area has a relationship with the first application, the electronic device may create a virtual screen corresponding to the second area in a memory of the electronic device, then run the first application based on the virtual screen, and map display data corresponding to the virtual screen (i.e., interface data when the virtual screen runs the first application) to the second area, that is, the electronic device draws an interface in the second area according to the display data, so that the electronic device displays the interface of the first application in the second area. I.e. the second area can be understood as the physical screen area corresponding to the virtual screen.
The virtual screen may be understood as a segment of storage space specially divided for a first application in a memory of the electronic device, where the storage space may be used for the electronic device to run the first application, and the storage space may include display data of the first application, and the display data may be used for the electronic device to draw an interface of the first application in a physical screen area corresponding to the virtual screen.
In this embodiment of the present invention, after the electronic device displays the interface of the first application in the second area, the user may operate the interface to use all or part of the functions of the first application.
Specifically, when a user performs an input (hereinafter, referred to as a target input) on an interface (hereinafter, referred to as an interface 1) of a first application displayed in the second area, the electronic device may map an input parameter of the target input into the virtual screen to obtain a mapping parameter; the electronic device can update the display data in the virtual screen according to the mapping parameter. After the electronic device updates the display data in the virtual screen, the electronic device may map the updated display data to the second area, that is, the electronic device draws an interface in the second area according to the updated display data, so that the electronic device updates the interface of the first application displayed in the second area according to the input of the user on the interface 1.
Wherein the input parameters of the target input may include at least one of: the input position, the input area, the input trajectory, the input direction, the input speed, and the like may be determined according to actual use requirements, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited.
For example, assume that the first application is a shopping application and the second area includes a logistics list interface of the shopping application, wherein the logistics list interface includes 3 logistics messages, namely "logistics a", "logistics B", and "logistics C", respectively; further, assume that the target input is a click input of a user in an area (hereinafter referred to as a target area) where "logistics a" is located in the logistics list interface, and the click input is used for triggering the electronic equipment to display a logistics detail interface of "logistics a" in the second area. Then, as shown in (a) of fig. 5, the electronic device displays a second area 50, the second area 50 includes a logistics list interface 51, the user can click on a target area 52 in the logistics list interface 51, that is, the electronic device receives a click input of the user, and then the electronic device can map the target area (that is, an input parameter of the above target input is an input area) in the virtual screen in response to the click input to obtain a mapping area (that is, a mapping parameter), so that the electronic device can update the display data in the virtual screen from the display data for drawing the logistics list interface to the display data for drawing the logistics detail interface of "logistics a" according to the mapping area, that is, the electronic device updates the display data in the virtual screen. After the electronic device updates the display data in the virtual screen, the electronic device may map the updated display data to the second area, so that, as shown in (b) of fig. 5, the electronic device draws a logistics detail interface 53 of "logistics a" in the second area 50 according to the updated display data, so that the electronic device may update the interface of the first application displayed in the second area according to a click input of the user on the interface 1.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, when the first control is used to trigger the creation of the association relationship between the second region and the application, a user may trigger the electronic device to associate the region identifier of the second region with an application identifier of one application through input of the first control, so as to create the association relationship between the second region and the application. When the first control is used for triggering deletion of the association relationship between the second area and the application, a user can trigger the electronic device to delete the association relationship between the area identifier of the second area and the application identifier of one application through input of the first control, so as to delete the association relationship between the second area and the application.
It is to be understood that after the electronic device associates the area identification of the second area with the application identification of one application, when the electronic device displays the second area, the interface of the application may be included in the second area. Correspondingly, after the electronic device deletes the association relationship between the area identifier of the second area and the application identifier of one application, when the electronic device displays the second area, the interface of the application is not included in the second area.
Further, if the second area can only have an association relationship with one application at the same time, before the electronic device creates an association relationship between the second area and one application, if the second area already has an association relationship with another application, the electronic device may delete the association relationship between the second area and the another application first, and then create an association relationship between the second area and the one application.
The following describes an exemplary display method provided by an embodiment of the present invention with reference to fig. 6.
Illustratively, as shown in fig. 6 (a), the electronic device displays a first area 60 of a first page, the second area is located below the first area 60, and the second area is in a hidden state, the user can slide up on the first area 60, i.e., the electronic device receives a first input by the user on a first area in the first page, the electronic device may then, in response to the first input, as shown in (b) of fig. 6, the electronic device may control the first page to move upward, at which time the electronic device may simultaneously display a partial region in the first region 60 and a partial region in the second region 61, when the first page is moved upward by a preset distance, as shown in fig. 6 (c), the electronic device may display the second region 61, with the first region being located above the second region 61, and the first area is in a hidden state, namely the electronic equipment updates the first area displayed on the screen to the second area. Wherein, an interface 62 of the camera application having an association relation with the second area 61 and a first control 63 for triggering the deletion of the association relation of the second area and the application can be displayed in the second area 61.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, in a process that the user triggers the electronic device to control the first page to move along the first direction through the sliding input, the electronic device may first display an identifier of the first application in the second area, so that the user can determine whether the application corresponding to the identifier is an application that the user needs to run, then, when the user continues to execute the sliding input until the electronic device is triggered to control the first page to move along the first direction by a preset distance, the electronic device may run the first application, and update the identifier of the first application displayed in the second area as an interface of the first application, that is, the electronic device displays the interface of the first application in the second area. The identifier of the first application may be any identifier that can uniquely identify the first application, such as a name of the first application, an application icon of the first application, and the like.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, if the second area of the first page is associated with the first application, the electronic device may automatically delete the association between the second area and the first application if the electronic device deletes the first page.
In the display method provided by the embodiment of the present invention, since a partial area in a page (the page may be a long page) of a desktop of an electronic device may be associated with some applications, on one hand, if an area already has an association relationship with an application (for example, the first application), when a user triggers the electronic device to display the area (in general, the area may be hidden), the electronic device may directly run the application associated with the area and display an interface of the application in the area, without manually triggering the electronic device to run the application by the user, so that the application may be quickly run; on the other hand, when the electronic device displays the region, a control for triggering creation or deletion of the association relationship between the region and the application may be displayed, so that a user can trigger the electronic device to create or delete the association relationship between the region and the application by inputting the control, thereby flexibly controlling whether to run the application quickly. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention can flexibly control whether to rapidly run the application or not, or can rapidly run the application, thereby improving the man-machine interaction performance.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, if the second area includes the first control, and the first control is used to trigger the creation of the association relationship between the second area and the application, after the electronic device displays the second area in the first page, the user may trigger the electronic device to create the association relationship between the second area and the application (for example, the following second application) through input to the first control.
For example, in the embodiment of the present invention, with reference to fig. 2, as shown in fig. 7, after S202, the display method provided in the embodiment of the present invention may further include S203 and S204 described below.
S203, the electronic equipment receives a second input of the user to the first control.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, the second input may be any possible form of input such as click input, long-press input, heavy-press input, drag input, and slide input of the first control by the user, which may be determined specifically according to actual use requirements, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited.
The click input may be input of a single click, a double click or a continuous click for a preset number of times. The long press input may be an input contacting for a first preset duration. The above-mentioned heavy-pressing input is also referred to as a pressure touch input, and refers to an input in which a user presses a pressure value greater than or equal to a pressure threshold value. The drag input may be an input of dragging in an arbitrary direction. The slide input may be an input to slide in any direction.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the preset times, the first preset duration, and the pressure threshold may all be determined according to actual use requirements, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited.
S204, the electronic equipment responds to the second input, creates an incidence relation between the second area and the second application, and displays an interface of the second application in the second area.
For the description of the electronic device creating the association relationship between the second area and the second application, reference may be specifically made to the related description in S202, and details are not repeated here to avoid repetition.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, the second application and the first application may be the same application or different applications, which may be determined specifically according to actual use requirements, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited.
Specifically, if the electronic device includes the interface of the first control and the first application in the second area before executing the step S203, the second application is a different application from the first application. If the electronic device includes the first control but does not include the interface of the first application in the second area before executing the above S203, the second application may be the same application as the first application or may be a different application.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, the second input may include a first sub-input and a second sub-input. The first sub-input can be input of a user to the first control, and the first sub-input can be used for triggering the electronic device to display an installed application list interface, where the installed application list interface can include an icon of the second application; the second sub-input may be an input of an icon of the second application by the user, and the second sub-input may be used to trigger the electronic device to create an association relationship of the second area with the second application. After the electronic device creates the association relationship between the second area and the second application, the electronic device may display an interface of the second application directly in the second area.
In the embodiment of the invention, the user can trigger the electronic equipment to create the association relationship between the second area and the application according to the use requirement of the user on the application, so that the flexibility and convenience of association between the area and the application can be improved, and the human-computer interaction performance can be improved.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, the second region may include a first sub-region and a second sub-region. For example, the first and second sub-regions may be combined into a first region. The first sub-area may be used to display content, and the second sub-area may be used to trigger an operation.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, the first sub-area may be specifically configured to display an interface of an application (for example, the first application) having an association relationship with the second area. Further, when the electronic device displays the interface of the first application on the first sub-area, the user may trigger the electronic device to update the interface of the first application displayed on the first sub-area by inputting on the first sub-area.
For the description of the interface of the first application displayed by the electronic device in the updated first sub-area, reference may be specifically made to the above description of the interface of the first application displayed by the electronic device in the updated second sub-area in S202, and for avoiding repetition, details are not repeated here.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present invention, the second sub-area may be specifically used to trigger the electronic device to update and display the second area to another area (for example, the following first area and the following third area) in the desktop of the electronic device, except for the second area.
