For convenience of understanding, the message notification methods provided in the embodiments of the present application are specifically described below with reference to the drawings, and in the following embodiments, a mobile phone is exemplified as the electronic device 100.
Fig. 6 is a flowchart illustrating message notification methods according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 6, the message notification method may include:
s600, the electronic equipment receives a new message.
The number of the new messages can be , or multiple, the new messages can belong to the same application, or different applications, for example, the new messages can be or multiple new messages of a certain application, or the new messages can be or multiple new messages of each application in multiple applications.
In embodiments, the electronic device, upon receiving the new message, identifies the application to which the new message belongs, and by default displays the notification in the form of a notification bubble for social applications and displays the notification in the notification bar for other applications.
For example, the notification bubble can display a message prompt icon to prompt the user that a message to be viewed exists in the application.
S601, the electronic equipment displays the notification bubble on a th display screen.
Thus, even if the user holds the phone with one hand, the user can operate the notification bubble in the th display with the thumb, such as clicking the notification bubble in the th display or sliding the notification bubble in the th display.
For example, the notification bubble may display a message prompt icon, still displayed in the form of a bubble on the th display screen, as shown in fig. 7 (a), the notification bubble may also display an icon (icon) of an application to which the new message belongs, and displayed in the form of a bubble on the th display screen, as shown in fig. 7 (b), and for social applications, such as WeChat, the displayed picture of the notification bubble may be the head portrait of the message sender.
Meanwhile, the notification bubble stays on the th display screen for a time period not exceeding a preset time period, and the starting time of the preset time period is the time when the electronic device receives a new message.
In , the user can make a total setting, such as 5 seconds, for the length of time the notification bubble stays on the th display screen (i.e., the preset length of time).
In embodiments, if different applications correspond to different notification bubbles, the time length (i.e., the preset time length) of the notification bubble staying on the th display screen may be set according to priorities of the applications, for example, the higher the priority of the application is, the larger the value of the preset time length corresponding to the notification bubble is, so that the longer the notification bubble staying on the th display screen corresponding to the application is, thereby achieving a better prompt effect.
The notification bubble may prompt the user that a plurality of applications have messages to be viewed, or may prompt the user that applications have messages to be viewed, and the notification bubble is specifically described in the following with different scenarios:
in a th possible design, the electronic device receives a new message for applications, or multiple applications, within a certain th period of time, as shown in fig. 7 (a), the electronic device displays a notification bubble on a th display screen, the displayed icon of the notification bubble is a message prompt icon to prompt the user that there is a message to be viewed in the application.
Here, the starting time of the notification bubble displayed on the th display screen is the time of the latest received message of the electronic device, and the time length (i.e. the preset time length) of the notification bubble staying on the th display screen may be the time length set by the user system or the time length set according to the priority of the application to which the latest received message belongs.
Therefore, no matter the electronic equipment receives new messages of the applications or new messages of a plurality of applications, the display screen can display notification bubbles, so that the electronic equipment can prompt a user that a new message exists in the applications, reduce the shielding area of the notification bubbles, avoid too much shielding display interfaces by the notification bubbles, and contribute to enhancing the immersive experience of the user.
In a second possible design, the notification bubble can indicate which applications are to have messages viewed, as follows:
in embodiments, the electronic device receives or more new messages that are applicable to within a certain period of time, as shown in fig. 7 (b), the electronic device displays an icon of an application to which the new message belongs on the th display screen in the form of a notification bubble.
For the electronic device receiving only new messages, the message may be denoted as message a, the starting time (i.e. the starting time of the preset time length) when the electronic device displays the notification bubble on the th display screen is the time when the electronic device receives the message a, and the preset time length for the notification bubble to stay on the th display screen may be set according to the priority of the application to which the message a belongs.
For the electronic device receiving multiple new messages applied to the same , taking three new messages as an example, the three new messages are respectively denoted as message B1, message B2 and message B3. at this time, if the electronic device receives the message B1, the message B2 and the message B3 at the same time, the th display screen displays the start time of the notification bubble (i.e., the start time of the preset time length) as the time when the electronic device receives the new messages (i.e., the message B1, the message B2 and the message B3).
If the electronic device receives the message B1, the message B2, and the message B3 at different times, the th display screen displays the notification bubble at the earliest time among the new messages (i.e., the message B1, the message B2, and the message B3) received by the electronic device (i.e., the message B2, and the message B3) during the display of the notification bubble on the th display screen (i.e., within the preset time), if the electronic device receives messages among the new messages (i.e., the message B1, the message B2, and the message B3), the receiving time of the messages is used as the new starting time of the preset time.
In embodiments, the electronic device receives new messages for multiple applications within a certain period of time, taking two new messages as an example, the two new messages are respectively denoted as message C1 (or th message) and message D1 (or second message), for example, message C1 may be a Short Messaging Service (SMS) APP message, and message D1 may be a WeChat APP message.
As shown in (C) and (d) of fig. 7, the electronic apparatus displays a notification bubble of an application to which the message C1 belongs and a notification bubble of an application to which the message C2 belongs in the form of a notification bubble on the th display screen.
For the message C1, the starting time of the electronic device displaying the icon of the application to which the message C1 belongs in the form of the notification bubble (i.e., the starting time of the preset time length of the notification bubble corresponding to the message C1) is the time of the electronic device receiving the message C1, and the time length value of the electronic device displaying the icon of the application to which the message C1 belongs in the form of the notification bubble (i.e., the preset time length of the notification bubble corresponding to the message C1) is a value set according to the priority of the application to which the message C1 belongs.
For the message D1, the starting time of the electronic device displaying the icon of the application to which the message D1 belongs in the form of the notification bubble (i.e., the starting time of the preset time length of the notification bubble corresponding to the message D1) is the time of the electronic device receiving the message D1, and the time length value of the electronic device displaying the icon of the application to which the message D1 belongs in the form of the notification bubble (i.e., the preset time length of the notification bubble corresponding to the message D1) is a value set according to the priority of the application to which the message D1 belongs.
The way of displaying the notification bubble on the th display screen by the electronic device may be various, including but not limited to the following ways:
mode displaying notification bubble in expanded state
Referring to (C) in fig. 7, the electronic device suspends the notification bubble of the different application on the top layer of the display screen, and the notification bubbles of the different applications are not occluded with each other, for example, the notification bubble of the application to which the message C1 belongs and the notification bubble of the application to which the message D1 belongs are not occluded with each other.
Second mode of displaying notification bubble in folded state
Referring to (D) of FIG. 7, the electronic device hovers the notification bubble for both applications at the top level of the display screen, and the notification bubble for both applications collapses.
When the th display screen displays the notification bubble in a folded state, the electronic device can determine the notification bubble to be displayed and the blocked notification bubble from the notification bubbles of the plurality of applications according to different criteria.
Illustratively, the electronic device takes the time of receiving the new message as the judgment basis, i.e. the time of receiving the message C1 by the electronic device is later than the time of receiving the message D1 by the electronic device. In this manner, the electronic device suspends the notification bubble of the application to which the newly received message (e.g., message C1) belongs on top of the application without being occluded by other notification bubbles, so as to prompt the user in real time for the existence of a new message to be viewed.
For example, the electronic device uses the priority of the application to which the new message belongs as a judgment basis, that is, the priority of the application to which the message C1 belongs is higher than the priority of the application to which the message D1 belongs. Therefore, the electronic equipment suspends the notification bubble of the application with the high priority in the top layer and is not blocked by other notification bubbles, so that the user is prevented from forgetting to check the message of the application with the high priority, and the actual application requirement of the user is met.
Therefore, the display screen displays the notification bubbles of different applications in a folded state, so that the user can be prompted to notify the application identified by the notification bubbles of a new message, the shielding area of the notification bubbles can be reduced, the notification bubbles are prevented from shielding too many display interfaces originally displayed by the electronic equipment, and the immersive experience of the user is enhanced.
For example, in some period, when the electronic device receives only messages of the short message service APP, the number "1" may be marked on the icon of the application, as shown in (a) in fig. 8, when the electronic device receives messages of the short message service APP again, the number marked on the icon of the application is updated to "2", as shown in (b) in fig. 8, when the electronic device receives messages of the short message service APP again, the number "3" may be marked on the icon of the application, as shown in (c) in fig. 8, for example, at some time, when the electronic device receives three messages of the short message service APP, the number marked on the icon of the application is updated to "3", as shown in (c) in fig. 8.
S602, the electronic device determines whether a preset condition is satisfied, if so, then S603 is executed, and if not, then S601 is continuously executed.
Wherein the preset condition comprises at least items of the following options:
, the electronic device receives the hidden indication operation.
Wherein the hiding instruction operation is to instruct th display screen to hide the notification bubble.
The hidden indication operation can be a click operation of a preset interface on the th display screen, and the operation area is a preset area.
For example, the hidden indication operation may be a slide operation received through the second display screen when the notification bubble is not present on the second display screen, and the direction of the slide operation may be a direction along which the width of the electronic device is located.
The electronic equipment can hide the notification bubble on a th display screen and display the notification bubble on a second display screen in response to the hiding indication operation, so that even if the time length displayed by the notification bubble on a th display screen does not exceed the preset time length, the user can directly hide the notification bubble on the th display screen without waiting for the notification bubble to automatically hide, so that the practical application requirements of the user are met, and the immersive experience of the user is enhanced.
Second, the electronic device does not receive an operation for handling the notification bubble, and the time length of the notification bubble displayed on the th display screen exceeds a preset time length.
Among other things, the operations for handling the notification bubble may include, but are not limited to, the following operations:
at operation , a click operation is performed to click on a notification bubble when the user desires to view a new message presented by the notification bubble.
The electronic device receives a long-press operation on the notification bubble, and in response to the long-press operation, the electronic device displays a management button on a th display screen.
Operation three, display indication operation, after the th display screen hides the notification bubble, and in response to the call indication operation, the th display screen displays the notification bubble again, the th display screen displays only a partial number of the notification bubbles in the second indication frame, and other notification bubbles are hidden.
Operation four and the hidden indication operation refer to the above description of the hidden indication operation, which is not described herein again.
Accordingly, the electronic device may determine that the user is immersed in a context of a application, such as the user is focusing on content in a display interface of the browser APP, or the user is focusing on a game context of the game APP, in order to avoid the notification bubble obscuring an original display interface of the display screen, affecting the immersive experience of the user, the electronic device performs the following S603:
s603, the electronic equipment displays the notification bubble on the second display screen.
And the notification bubble floats on the top layer, namely floats on the current display interface of the second display screen.
In embodiments, the number of notification bubbles can be , and the notification bubbles can display a message prompt icon, as shown in FIG. 9 (a). The notification bubbles can prompt the user for a message to be viewed in the application.
In embodiments, the number of notification bubbles can be , and the notification bubbles can also display icons of the applications, as shown in (b) of fig. 9.
In embodiments , the number of notification bubbles may be multiple, and different notification bubbles may display icons of different applications, the number of notification bubbles corresponds to the number of applications to which the new message received by the electronic device belongs, for example, two applications are Short Messaging Service (SMS) and WeChat, respectively, and the second display displays the notification bubble of the application to which the message C1 belongs and the notification bubble of the application to which the message C2 belongs.
Mode displaying notification bubble in expanded state
Referring to (c) of fig. 9, the electronic device hovers a notification bubble of a different application on a top layer of the second display screen. And the notification bubbles of different applications are not shielded from each other. For example, the notification bubble of the application to which the message C1 belongs and the notification bubble of the application to which the message D1 belongs are not occluded from each other. Therefore, the second display screen displays the notification bubbles of different applications in the expanded state to prompt the user that the application identified by the notification bubbles has new information, and a better prompt effect is achieved.
Second mode of displaying notification bubble in folded state
Referring to (d) of fig. 9, the electronic device hovers the notification bubble of the two applications at the top layer of the second display screen. And, the notification bubble of both applications collapses. For example, the notification bubble of the application to which the message C1 belongs blocks the partial notification bubble of the application to which the display message D1 belongs.
For example, the electronic device uses the time of receiving a new message as the judgment basis, or uses the priority of the application to which the new message belongs as the judgment basis, and the specific reference can be seen from the related description in S601.
In this way, the second display screen displays a notification bubble for a different application in a collapsed state to prompt the user to notify the application identified by the bubble of a new message. Even if the size of the second display screen is small, since the notification bubble is displayed in a folded state, a good prompt effect can be achieved.
Thus, even if the user holds the electronic device with one hand, the notification bubble in the display screen can be processed by the thumb, such as clicking the notification bubble in the display screen, or sliding the notification bubble in the display screen, if the electronic device determines that the preset condition is met, the electronic device receives a hiding indication operation to indicate that the display screen hides the notification bubble, for example, the electronic device does not receive an operation for processing the notification bubble and the notification bubble is displayed on the display screen for a time period exceeding a preset time period, the electronic device displays the notification bubble on the second display screen, because the notification bubble on the display screen can be automatically hidden, or the display screen hides the notification bubble in response to the hiding indication information received by the electronic device, the time for the notification bubble to block the original display interface of the electronic device is reduced, thereby enhancing the immersive experience of the user, the visual effect of the user can be avoided by the user who forgets to see the notification bubble on the second display screen.
Optionally, the electronic device determines a display mode of the notification bubble according to a current running state of the application and/or an operation habit of a user. For example, the running status of the application may refer to whether the electronic device is running a specific class of application, and the specific class of application may be an application set by the user according to the user's own needs, such as but not limited to a game class application. If the electronic device runs the application of the designated class, the electronic device determines to directly display the notification bubble on the second display screen, that is, the electronic device directly executes S603 after executing S600, otherwise, the electronic device executes S601 after executing S600.
For example, if the electronic device runs the reading application, the electronic device determines whether the current operating condition of the user is consistent with the operation habit of the user learned in advance, if so, the electronic device directly displays the notification bubble on the second display screen, namely, the electronic device directly executes S603 after executing S600, and if not, the electronic device executes S601 after executing S600.
Optionally, after the electronic device executes S600, S601 is executed, and when the second display screen is in the screen-off state, the second display screen may flash to remind the user of a new message.
Optionally, referring to fig. 10(a), after the electronic device performs S602, if it is determined that the preset condition is satisfied, the electronic device may directly perform S603, or before performing S603, perform S604:
s604, the electronic equipment gradually hides the notification bubble from the edge of the th display screen.
For example, the notification bubble is faded from the top, the bottom, the left part or the right part of the th display screen, and the fading position of the notification bubble is not particularly limited in the embodiments of the present application.
Illustratively, taking the top-level floating notification bubble of the display interface of the browser APP as an example, the notification bubble gradually recedes from the edge of the th display screen, as shown in (a) in fig. 11, after the notification bubble completely recedes, the th display screen displays the original display interface, and the second display screen displays the notification bubble.
Therefore, the electronic equipment reduces the area of the notification bubble for shielding the original display interface in a gradual recession mode to prompt a user that the notification bubble is to be displayed on the second display screen, so that the user experience is improved.
Optionally, during the process of gradually disappearing the notification bubble, the electronic device displays a th indication frame 104 on a th display screen, as shown in (b) in fig. 11, wherein the th indication frame 104 carries the notification bubble, the th indication frame 104 is narrowed along with the gradual disappearing of the notification bubble, and the th indication frame 104 is used for indicating that the notification bubble is to be displayed on the second display screen.
