Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to communication technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for transmitting a synchronization signal of a relay node in a wireless communication system.
Background
High bandwidth is an inevitable requirement for the development of New air interfaces (NR) of future wireless networks, including 5th generation mobile networks or 5th generation wireless systems, 5G wireless networks. Since the bandwidth is gradually exhausted in the low frequency band, such as the band below 6 gigahertz (GHz), the high frequency band will become the frequency band selection that the wireless network seeks to use in the future. In current NR research, high frequency bands (e.g., 20-30GHz bands) and 6G bands are important bands for NR expansion bandwidth. On the other hand, a Relay Node (RN) introducing enhanced coverage is an important means for solving network capacity and coverage extension. At present, NR considers the application of high frequency, and adopts beam-based transmission (beam), which is very different from the conventional Long Term Evolution (LTE) system. This difference may lead to deployment of relay nodes that need to overcome some of the problems that conventional networks do not have.
Disclosure of Invention
Embodiments of the present application provide a method and an apparatus for sending a synchronization signal of a relay node, which solve the problem of how to obtain synchronization signal information from a network and send a synchronization signal at an air interface according to the synchronization signal information when the relay node may be configured as a layer 2 or layer 3 relay.
In order to achieve the above purpose, the embodiment of the present application adopts the following technical solutions:
in a first aspect, a method for transmitting a synchronization signal is provided, including: the method comprises the following steps that a relay node receives synchronization signal information sent by a superior node through an air interface, wherein the synchronization signal information comprises at least one of the following information: the method comprises the following steps of synchronizing the subcarrier interval of signals, the frequency band information of the work of a relay node, the information of a physical broadcast channel PBCH of the relay node, the period of the synchronizing signals and the indication information of the acquisition mode of the synchronizing signals; and the relay node transmits the synchronous signal according to the information of the synchronous signal. In the foregoing technical solution, the relay node sends the synchronization signal information through an air interface message, where the air interface message may include an RRC message, such as an RRC reconfiguration message and an RRC connection reestablishment message, or may also be an MAC CE. Through air interface transmission, the deployment cost can be effectively reduced, and rapid deployment can be realized. Meanwhile, the synchronous signal information is automatically acquired through the air interface, so that manual configuration can be avoided, and the configuration efficiency is improved. On the other hand, since NR supports the function of partial bandwidth, different relay nodes in a cell can work on the same partial bandwidth or different partial bandwidth with a Donor node to better adapt to service requirements at different positions in the cell, and therefore, the synchronization signal information of the relay nodes is configured through an air interface, which has greater flexibility and freedom to adapt to the requirement of network service change.
In a possible implementation manner of the first aspect, the relay node sends a synchronization signal information request to the superordinate node to request to acquire synchronization signal information of the relay node. In the above technical scheme, the relay node actively sends the synchronization signal information request to the upper node, and the relay node can determine the time for acquiring the synchronization signal information according to the current state, so that the air interface transmission efficiency is higher.
In a possible implementation manner of the first aspect, the synchronization signal includes a synchronization signal sequence, and the synchronization signal information further includes: the physical cell identifier PCI, from which the relay node generates the synchronization signal sequence. In the above technical solution, the relay node may determine the synchronization signal sequence sent by itself through the PCI in the synchronization signal information.
In a possible implementation manner of the first aspect, the synchronization signal information further includes information of a partial bandwidth corresponding to the synchronization signal information, and the relay node sends the synchronization signal on the partial bandwidth according to the information of the partial bandwidth corresponding to the synchronization signal. In the above technical solution, the relay node can be configured on different partial bandwidths more flexibly according to the cell service distribution situation by configuring the synchronization signal on the partial bandwidth, so as to meet different service requirements in the cell.
In a possible implementation manner of the first aspect, the synchronization signal information further includes: and the relay node transmits the synchronization signal by adopting the transmission power corresponding to the synchronization signal. In the above technical solution, through the configuration of the transmission power, the relay node may transmit the same or different powers on different synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel blocks, or a part of the synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel blocks is different from the transmission power on another part of the synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel blocks, and may adapt to channel conditions in different directions, and meet the coverage requirement of the relay node.
In a possible implementation manner of the first aspect, the method for sending the synchronization signal further includes: and the relay node receives the identifier of the relay node sent by the superior node and acquires the synchronous signal information of the relay node according to the identifier of the relay node. In the above technical solution, through the identifier of the relay node, the relay node can determine whether the superior node performs configuration or reconfiguration of the synchronization signal information on the superior node, thereby avoiding the configuration error caused by lack of the identifier.
In a possible implementation manner of the first aspect, the method for sending the synchronization signal further includes: the relay node receives the identification of the other relay node and the synchronization signal information of the other relay node sent by the superior node, and forwards the identification of the other relay node and the synchronization signal information of the other relay node to the other relay node. In the above technical solution, through the identifier of another relay node, the relay node may determine to which subordinate relay node the synchronization signal information is forwarded, so as to ensure that the subordinate relay node can correctly receive the synchronization signal information.
In a second aspect, a method for transmitting synchronization signal information is provided, including: the network node sends synchronization signal information to the relay node through an air interface, wherein the synchronization signal information comprises at least one of the following information: the method comprises the following steps of synchronizing the subcarrier interval of a signal, the frequency band information of the work of a relay node, the information of a physical broadcast channel of the relay node, the period of the synchronizing signal and the indication information of the acquiring mode of the synchronizing signal; and the network node receives the confirmation message sent by the relay node. In the above technical scheme, the network node configures the synchronization signal information to the relay node through the air interface, so that the deployment cost can be effectively reduced, and rapid deployment can be realized. Meanwhile, the synchronous signal information is automatically acquired through the air interface, so that manual configuration can be avoided, and the configuration efficiency is improved. On the other hand, since the NR supports a function of partial bandwidth, the network node can configure the relay node to operate on the same or different BWPs according to the service requirement in the current cell, thereby enhancing the flexibility and freedom of service deployment.
In a possible implementation manner of the second aspect, the network node receives a synchronization signal information request sent by the relay node, where the synchronization signal information request is used to request the network node to send synchronization signal information of the relay node to the relay node. In the above technical solution, the network can configure the synchronization signal information for the relay node based on the request, and ensure that the relay node that needs to acquire the synchronization signal information is configured, so that the signaling efficiency is high.
In a possible implementation manner of the second aspect, the network node receives a synchronization signal information configuration request sent by the operation management and maintenance node, where the synchronization signal information configuration request is used to instruct the network node to send the synchronization signal information to the relay node. In the technical scheme, the network node is controlled by the operation management and maintenance node to send the synchronous signal information to the relay node, so that the safety of relay node management is improved, and the deployment of the relay node in the network can be optimized by the unified management of the operation management and maintenance node.
In a possible implementation manner of the second aspect, the synchronization signal includes a synchronization signal sequence, and the synchronization signal information further includes: the physical cell identifier PCI, so that the relay node generates a synchronization signal sequence according to the PCI. In the above technical solution, the network node configures the PCI for the relay node, may control whether the synchronization signal of the relay node is the same as the synchronization signal of the network node, and configures the relay node as a layer 2 relay or a layer 3 relay as needed, so as to optimize service transmission in the cell.
In a possible implementation manner of the second aspect, the synchronization signal information further includes information of a partial bandwidth corresponding to the synchronization signal information, and the relay node transmits the synchronization signal on the partial bandwidth according to the information of the partial bandwidth corresponding to the synchronization signal. In the above technical solution, the relay node can be configured on different partial bandwidths more flexibly according to the cell service distribution situation by configuring the synchronization signal on the partial bandwidth, so as to meet different service requirements in the cell.
In one possible implementation manner of the second aspect, the synchronization signal information further includes: the transmission power corresponding to the synchronization signal. In the above technical solution, through the configuration of the transmission power, the relay node may transmit the same or different powers on different synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel blocks, or a part of the synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel blocks is different from the transmission power on another part of the synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel blocks, and may adapt to channel conditions in different directions, so as to meet the coverage requirement of the relay node.
In a possible implementation manner of the second aspect, the method for sending the synchronization signal further includes: and the superior node sends the identification of the relay node and the synchronous signal information to the relay node together, so that the relay node acquires the synchronous signal information of the relay node according to the identification of the relay node. In the above technical solution, the network node indicates, through the identifier of the relay node, that the synchronization signal information is configured for the relay corresponding to the identifier of the relay node, thereby avoiding an error generated when configuring or reconfiguring a plurality of relay nodes at one time.
In one possible implementation of the second aspect, the network node sends the identifier of the other relay node and the synchronization signal information of the other relay node to the relay node, so that the relay node forwards the identifier of the other relay node and the synchronization signal information of the other relay node to the other relay node. In the technical scheme, the network can configure a plurality of relay nodes at one time, the relay nodes can correctly acquire own synchronous signal information through the identifier of another relay node, the configuration efficiency is improved, the configuration signaling is saved, and meanwhile the identifier of another relay node can help the relay nodes to correctly forward and route the synchronous signal information.

It should be understood that the names of all nodes and messages in the present application are only names set for convenience of description in the present application, and the names in the actual network may be different, and it should not be understood that the present application defines the names of various nodes and messages, on the contrary, any name having the same or similar function as the node or message used in the present application is considered as a method or equivalent replacement in the present application, and is within the protection scope of the present application, and will not be described in detail below.
In consideration of the high bandwidth of a future wireless network, NR considers introducing an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) scheme to further reduce deployment cost, improve deployment flexibility, and thus introduces a relay with Integrated Access and Backhaul. The Third Generation Partnership Project (3 GPP) has established NR IAB as a standardization target for release 16 and is now in the beginning of research.
On the other hand, the scheme for transmitting the Synchronization Signal by the base station in NR has been determined in the standard, and the difference from the transmission mode of the Synchronization Signal in LTE is that the transmission of the Synchronization Signal over the air interface due to the introduction of high frequency in NR is based on a Synchronization Signal/Physical Broadcast Channel Block (SS/PBCH Block). On the other hand, various waveform parameters (Numerology) are introduced in NR, and symbol positions occupied by transmission of synchronization signals in radio frames are related to Numerology. Numerology refers to physical layer waveform parameters including Subcarrier Spacing (SCS), configuration of Cyclic Prefix (CP).
Due to the difference between NR and LTE synchronization signals, in an NR IAB system, it is ensured that a relay node acquires configuration of synchronization signal parameters, and sends a synchronization signal at an air interface.
Fig. 1-1 is a schematic structural diagram of a communication system to which the embodiment of the present application is applied.
It should be noted that, the communication systems mentioned in the embodiments of the present application include, but are not limited to: a Narrow-Band Internet of Things (NB-IoT) system, a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, a next generation 5G mobile communication system or a communication system after 5G, or a Device to Device (D2D) communication system.
In the communication system shown in fig. 1-1, an integrated access and backhaul IAB system is presented. An IAB system comprises at least a base station 100, one or more User Equipments (UEs) 101 served by the base station 100, one or more relay nodes rrp 110, and one or more UEs 111 served by the rrp 110, typically the base station 100 is called a Donor base station (DgNB), and the rrp 110 is connected to the base station 100 through a wireless backhaul link 113. The Donor base station is also referred to as a Donor node in this application, i.e., a Donor node. Base stations include, but are not limited to: an evolved Node B (eNB), a Radio Network Controller (RNC), a Node B (NB), a Base Station Controller (BSC), a Base Transceiver Station (BTS), a Home Base Station (e.g., Home evolved Node B, or Home Node B, HNB), a BaseBand Unit (BBU), or a next generation New air interface (NR, New Radio) Base Station (e.g., gbb), etc.
The integrated access and backhaul system may further comprise a plurality of other relay nodes, such as a rrtp 120 and a rrtrp 130, the rrtrp 120 being connected to the relay node rrtrp 110 via a wireless backhaul link 123 for access to the network, the rrtrp 130 being connected to the relay node rrtrp 110 via a wireless backhaul link 133 for access to the network, the rrtrp 120 serving one or more UEs 121, and the rrtrp 130 serving one or more UEs 131. In fig. 1-1, both relay nodes rrtp 110 and rrtp 120 are connected to the network through wireless backhaul links. In the present application, the wireless backhaul links are all from the perspective of the relay node, for example, the wireless backhaul link 113 is the backhaul link of the relay node rrtp 110, and the wireless backhaul link 123 is the backhaul link of the relay node rrtp 120. As shown in fig. 1-1, one relay node, e.g., 120, may be connected to another relay node 110 via a wireless backhaul link, e.g., 123, to thereby connect to the network, and the relay node may be connected to the network via multiple stages of wireless relay nodes. Generally, the node providing wireless backhaul link resources, such as 110, is referred to as an upper node of the relay node 120, and 120 is referred to as a lower node of the relay node 110. In general, a lower node may be regarded as one user equipment UE of an upper node. It should be understood that in the integrated access and backhaul system shown in fig. 1-1, one relay node is connected to one upper node, but in a future relay system, in order to improve the reliability of the wireless backhaul link, one relay node, e.g., 120, may have multiple upper nodes to simultaneously serve one relay node, e.g., rrrp 130 in the figure may also be connected to the relay node rrrp 120 through the backhaul link 134, i.e., rrrp 110 and rrrp 120 are both upper nodes of the rrrp 130. In the present application, the user equipment UE 101,111,121,131 may be a stationary or a mobile device. For example, the mobile device may be a mobile phone, a smart terminal, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a video game console, a multimedia player, and even a mobile relay node. Stationary devices are typically located at fixed locations such as computers, access points (connected to a network by wireless links such as stationary relay nodes), etc. The names of the relay nodes rrtp 110,120, 130 do not limit the scenario or network in which they are deployed, and may be any other names such as relay, RN, etc. The use of rrtp in this application is only a requirement for ease of description.
In fig. 1-1, the wireless links 102,112,122,132,113,123, 133,134 may be bidirectional links, including uplink and downlink transmission links, and in particular, the wireless backhaul links 113,123, 133,134 may be used for an upper node to provide service to a lower node, such as the upper node 100 providing wireless backhaul service to the lower node 110. It should be understood that the uplink and downlink of the backhaul link may be separate, i.e., the uplink and downlink are not transmitted through the same node. The downlink transmission refers to transmission of information or data to a higher node, such as the node 100, and to a lower node, such as the node 110, and the uplink transmission refers to transmission of information or data to a lower node, such as the node 110, and to a higher node, such as the node 100. The node is not limited to being a network node or a UE, e.g. in the D2D scenario, a UE may serve other UEs as a relay node. The wireless backhaul link may in turn be an access link in some scenarios, e.g. backhaul link 123 may also be considered as an access link for node 110, and backhaul link 113 is also an access link for node 100. It should be understood that the above-mentioned upper node may be a base station, and may also be a relay node, and the lower node may also be a relay node, and may also be a UE with a relay function, for example, in the D2D scenario, the lower node may also be a UE.
The relay nodes shown in fig. 1-1, e.g., 110,120, 130, may exist in two forms: one is existed as an independent access node, and can independently manage the UE accessing to the relay node, the relay node at this time usually has an independent Physical Cell Identifier (PCI), the relay in this form usually needs to have a complete protocol stack function, such as a Radio Resource Control (RRC) function, and the relay is usually called layer 3 relay; the relay node in another form does not have an independent PCI, and belongs to the same cell as the Donor node, such as the Donor eNB or the Donor gbb, and does not manage the user. The protocol stacks for layer 2 and layer 3 relays are shown in fig. 1-2 through fig. 1-5. The Donor node is a node through which a core network can be accessed, or an anchor base station of a radio access network through which a network can be accessed. The anchor base station is responsible for Data processing of a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) layer, or is responsible for receiving and forwarding Data of a core network to a relay node, or receiving and forwarding Data of the relay node to the core network.
Fig. 1-2 and fig. 1-3 are protocol stack protocol architecture diagrams of a user plane and a control plane, respectively, of a layer 2 relay system. In the figure, the Next Generation User Plane (NG-UP) is mainly a User Plane gateway, and the Next Generation Control Plane (NG-CP) is a Control Plane node. Wherein the user plane protocol layer of the UE comprises: a Physical Layer (PHY), a Medium Access Control (MAC) Layer, a Radio Link Control (RLC) Layer, a PDCP Layer, a Service Data Adaptation Protocol (SDAP) Layer, and an Internet Protocol (IP) Layer, wherein the DSAP Layer mainly provides a Service Adaptation function, including Quality of Service (QoS) management and stream management functions. Correspondingly, the protocol stack of the Donor node, i.e. the interface of the DgNB and the layer 2 relay, includes: PHY layer, MAC layer, RLC layer, adpt layer, PDCP layer, and SDAP layer. Correspondingly, the protocol stack of the NG-CP at S1 interface includes: l1, L2, IP layer, SCTP layer, S1-AP layer, and NAS layer, wherein the NAS layer corresponds to the NAS layer of the UE.
Similarly, fig. 1-4 and fig. 1-5 are user plane and control plane protocol stack structures, respectively, for a layer 3 relay system. And the protocol stack of the interface between the layer 3 relay and the DgNB comprises: PHY layer, MAC layer, RLC layer, PDCP layer, IP layer, SCTP layer, and S1-AP layer. The control plane protocol stack structure of other peer-2 relay systems is not described again.
In order to provide services correctly, the relay node in any of the above forms needs to transmit a synchronization signal to the UE or device served by the relay node. However, as described above, the difference between the synchronization signal in NR and LTE includes not only the synchronization signal sequence but also the resource of the synchronization signal Block SS/PBCH Block at the time of radio frame transmission. The generation of the Synchronization Signal sequence mainly depends on PCI, and a Primary Synchronization Signal (PSS) sequence and a Secondary Synchronization Signal (SSS) sequence can be generated by PCI. Fig. 2-1 and fig. 2-2 are examples of symbol positions of an SS/PBCH Block in a radio frame according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Wherein fig. 2-1 is a symbol position diagram of 15KHz (Kilo Herz, KHz) and 30KHz subcarrier-spaced SS/PBCH Block in the time domain, and fig. 2-2 is a symbol position diagram of 120KHz and 24KHz subcarrier-spaced SS/PBCH Block in the time domain. Fig. 2-1 shows a time domain symbol position diagram of the SS/PBCH Block within 1ms, and fig. 2-2 shows a time domain symbol position diagram of the SS/PBCH Block within 0.25 ms. 211 and 221 in fig. 2-1 indicate one symbol for 15KHz and 30KHz subcarrier intervals, respectively, and 1ms includes 14 symbols for the 15KHz subcarrier interval and 28 symbols for the 30KHz subcarrier interval, and one slot includes 14 symbols regardless of the subcarrier interval, so that 1ms is one slot for the 15KHz subcarrier interval, and 1ms includes 2 slots for the 30KHz subcarrier interval, i.e., symbols 0-13 in fig. 2-1 are one slot and 14-27 are another slot. Similarly, within 0.125ms, 2 slots are included for 120KHz and 4 slots are included for 240 KHz. For a 15KHz subcarrier spacing, 2 SS/PBCH blocks, 212 and 213, are contained within 1ms, with sign bit starting positions of 2 and 8, respectively. For a 30KHz subcarrier spacing, there are two patterns of SS/PBCH blocks, one with {4,8,16,20} symbol start positions for each SS/PBCH Block, 4 different SS/PBCH blocks, 222,223,224,225 for each SS/PBCH Block, and 226,227,228,229 for each SS/PBCH Block, 2,8,16,22 for each SS/PBCH Block. Similarly, for 120KHz, the start position of the sign bit of each SS/PBCH Block is {4,8,16,20}, respectively, the start positions of the 4 different SS/PBCH blocks are 232,233,234,235, respectively, and for 240KHz, the start positions of the sign bits of each SS/PBCH Block are {8,12,16,20,32,36,40,44}, respectively, and the start positions of the 8 different SS/PBCH blocks are 242, 243, 244, 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, respectively. Each SS/PBCH Block occupies 4 sign bits in the time domain. Since the number L of SS/PBCH blocks defined by NR can now be 4,8,64, the value of L will be different for different subcarrier spacings, with a maximum L of 8 for 15KHz and 30KHz subcarrier spacings and a L of 64 for 120KHz and 240KHz subcarrier spacings. For 15KHz and 30KHz subcarrier spacing, L is 4 for frequency bands less than 3GHz (Giga Herz, GHz), L is 8 for frequency bands greater than 3GHz to 6GHz, and L is 64 for frequency bands greater than 6 GHz. Therefore, the value of L can be determined by the frequency band.
The SS/PBCH Block within 1ms for 15KHz and 30KHz subcarrier spacing is given in fig. 2-1, and the SS/PBCH Block within 0.125ms for 120KHz and 240KHz subcarrier spacing is given in fig. 2-2. When L is greater than the number of SS/PBCH blocks shown in fig. 2-1 and fig. 2-2, the following slots continue to transmit in the same mode, as follows:
and transmitting the 15KHz subcarrier interval according to {2,8} +14 x n, wherein {2,8} represents the index, namely the position, of the first symbol of the SS/PBCH Block, and the following description is the same and is not repeated. For the frequency band less than or equal to 3GHz, n is 0,1, and for the frequency band greater than 3GHz and less than or equal to 6GHz, n is 0,1,2, 3. The position of the SS/PBCH Block in one synchronization signal period is traversed by the above value of n by the above formula, which is the same as below and is not described again.
And transmitting the signals according to {4,8,16,20} +28 x n at the interval of 30KHz subcarriers, wherein n is 0 for the frequency bands less than 3GHz or equal to 3GHz, and n is 0 and 1 for the frequency bands more than 3GHz and less than or equal to 6 GHz.
And transmitting the signals according to {2,8} +14 x n at the interval of 30KHz subcarriers, wherein n is 0 and 1 for the frequency bands of less than 3GHz or equal to 3GHz, and n is 0,1,2 and 3 for the frequency bands of more than 3GHz and less than or equal to 6 GHz.
The transmission is performed according to {4,8,16,20} +28 x n for the 120KHz subcarrier spacing, and n is 0,1,2,3,5,6,7,8,10,11,12,13,15,16,17,18 for the frequency bands larger than 6 GHz.
The transmission is carried out according to {8,12,16,20,32,36,40,44} +56 x n for the 240KHz subcarrier spacing, and n is 0,1,2,3,5,6,7,8,10,11,12,13,15,16,17,18 for the frequency band greater than 6 GHz.
Above, mainly the starting position of the SS/PBCH block in the time domain, as mentioned above, one SS/PBCH block occupies 4 symbols, NR specifies that PSS occupies the zeroth sign bit (symbol numbering from 0 to 3), SSs occupies the second sign bit, and PBCH occupies the second and third sign bits. In addition, the SS/PBCH block occupies 240 continuous sub-carriers (numbered from 0 to 239) in the frequency domain, the PSS occupies sub-carriers of the zero sign bit of 56 to 182, and 0 to 55 and 183-. While the sub-carriers occupied by the SSS for the second sign bit are 56-182 and 48-55 and 183-191 are set to 0. The subcarriers 0-47 and 192-239 of the second symbol bit and the subcarriers 0-239 of the first and third symbol bits are used for transmission of PBCH.
In addition to the time domain configuration of the SS/PBCH Block, the transmission of the synchronization signal also needs to determine the location of the frequency domain resource, so the synchronization signal information also includes information of a partial Bandwidth (BWP) corresponding to the synchronization signal information, and the relay node transmits the synchronization signal on the partial Bandwidth according to the information of the partial Bandwidth corresponding to the synchronization signal. In NR, one or more BWPs can be supported, and if there are multiple BWPs and different BWPs can transmit a synchronization signal, information specifying the BWP is required.
In addition, the synchronization signal further includes information of PBCH, which mainly includes at least one of the following information: index explicit indication (ssb-indexplicit), field index (halfframe index), system frame number (systemFrameNumber), generic subcarrier spacing (subcarrierspacengingcommon), subcarrier offset (ssb-subcarrieronoffset), Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) type a Position (DMRS-pea-Position), SIB1PDCCH configuration (pdcchConfigSIB1), cell blocking (cellbar), intra frequency cell reselection (intra frequency reselection). The specific meaning of each PBCH field can refer to 3GPP 38.331 protocol, which should be understood by those skilled in the art and will not be described in detail.
According to the sending mode of the SS/PBCH Block, the relay node receives the synchronization signal information sent by the superior node through an air interface, wherein the synchronization signal information comprises at least one of the following information: the method comprises the steps of synchronizing the subcarrier interval of a signal, the frequency band information of the work of a relay node, the information of PBCH, the period of the synchronizing signal and the indication information of the acquisition mode of the synchronizing signal, and the relay node sends the synchronizing signal according to the information of the synchronizing signal. The synchronization signal information further includes: a Physical Cell Identifier (PCI) for generating a synchronization signal sequence, the synchronization signal sequence being transmitted on a synchronization signal resource.
The Frequency band information of the relay node refers to a Frequency range in which communication equipment operates, and includes an uplink Frequency band and a downlink Frequency band for Frequency Division multiplexing (FDD), and the communication equipment includes, but is not limited to, a base station, a relay node, and a terminal. Generally, the frequency band information of the relay node is corresponded by a number, for example, in the 3GPP 38.813 protocol, two Time Division multiplexing (TDD) frequency bands are defined: the Uplink (UL) frequency range corresponding to n77 and n78, n77 is 3300MHz-4200MHz, and the Downlink (DL) frequency range is 3300MHz-4200 MHz; the UL frequency range corresponding to n78 is 3300MHz-3800MHz, and the DL frequency range is 3300MHz-3800 MHz. It should be understood that this is just one example, and that NR relaying can operate in any prescribed frequency band. The frequency band information of the relay node may be indicated by the number of the frequency band, or may be in other manners, such as giving an operating frequency range, which is not limited in this embodiment. Any modification or substitution that can be easily made by a person skilled in the art is intended to fall within the technical scope disclosed in the present embodiment. By including the frequency band information of the relay node in the synchronization signal information, the relay node can determine the number and the position of the SS/PBCH blocks, as described in the following embodiments.
The periods of the synchronization signals refer to periods of SS/PBCH Block transmission at different subcarrier intervals, and the periods of SS/PBCH Block transmission in one SS/PBCH Block period are different. The different SS/PBCH blocks refer to 212 and 213, or 222,223,224,225, etc. as shown in fig. 2-1, which are not listed here, and it should be understood by those skilled in the art that an SS/PBCH Block period refers to an interval of transmission of a group of SS/PBCH blocks over an air interface, and a group of SS/PBCH blocks belong to the same period. Since the period of the synchronization signal of NR is configurable, it is necessary to specify the period of the synchronization signal so that the relay node can correctly configure the transmission period of the synchronization signal.
As described above, since the relay includes multiple forms, the relay with the layer 3 relay has an independent physical cell identifier PCI, and the relay without the physical cell identifier PCI can be further divided into a layer 2 relay and a layer 1 relay, generally, the layer 1 relay mainly amplifies signals and has no higher layer protocol processing, and the higher layer protocol refers to a MAC layer or a protocol above the MAC layer. In future NR, the relay mainly includes layer 2 and layer 3 relays, the layer 2 relay has functions of layer 2 protocol stack, including functions of MAC, RLC, and/or PDCP, and currently NR implements control and bearer separation in architecture, and usually integrates RRC and PDCP functions, therefore, the layer 2 relay mainly includes MAC and RLC functions. It should be understood that the function placement of the layer 2 protocol stack is not limited in this embodiment, and in some scenarios, the MAC, RLC, and PDCP may be included, and in some scenarios, the MAC, RLC, and/or adaptation layer may be included only, and in some scenarios, the MAC, RLC, and partial RRC functions may be included, and in some scenarios, the MAC, RLC, PDCP, and partial RRC functions may be included, which is not limited in this embodiment.
For layer 3 relay, the synchronization signal is different from the Donor node, usually because the PCI and the Donor node are different. While for layer 2 relay, the synchronization signal of the relay node is the same as the Donor node, and it should be understood that the synchronization signal of the relay node is the same as the Donor node, which means that the PSS, the SSS, and the PBCH of the synchronization signal are the same, but the periods of the Donor node and the relay node may be configured differently, depending on the specific implementation, and this embodiment is not limited.
The indication information of the synchronization signal acquisition mode is mainly used in a layer 2 relay scenario, if only the Donor node and the relay node support to operate at the same carrier frequency and no other BWP exists, at this time, the synchronization signal of the relay node and the synchronization signal of the Donor node are completely consistent, and the relay node may acquire all synchronization signal information from the synchronization signal of the Donor node. At this time, the indication information of the synchronization signal acquisition mode is used to indicate whether the synchronization signal information is configured by the network, such as the Donor, or is automatically acquired from the Donor node synchronization information by the relay node. It should be understood that the indication information of the synchronization signal acquisition manner may not be needed if it is explicitly configured, i.e. the synchronization signal information is configured by the network.
In order to enable the relay node to provide service for the UE after being started, the relay node first needs to acquire correct synchronization signal information and send the information over an air interface, and the method includes: the method comprises the following steps that a relay node receives synchronization signal information sent by a superior node through an air interface, wherein the synchronization signal information comprises at least one of the following information: the method comprises the steps that the subcarrier interval of a synchronous signal, the frequency band information of the work of a relay node, the information of a physical broadcast channel PBCH of the relay node, the period of the synchronous signal and the indication information of the synchronous signal acquisition mode are obtained, and the relay node sends the synchronous signal according to the information of the synchronous signal.
The synchronization signal may include a synchronization signal sequence, the synchronization signal information may further include a physical cell identifier PCI, and the relay node generates the synchronization signal sequence according to the PCI. The generation of the specific synchronization signal sequence is generated by a generator polynomial, which should be familiar to those skilled in the art and will not be described in detail.
Considering the support for the partial bandwidth BWP in NR, the synchronization signal information further includes partial bandwidth BWP information corresponding to the synchronization signal information, and the relay node transmits the synchronization signal on the partial bandwidth BWP according to the partial bandwidth BWP information corresponding to the synchronization signal.
Further, considering that the synchronization signal transmission in NR is performed in a beam manner, the transmission power of each beam may be the same or different. Therefore, the synchronization signal information further includes: and the relay node transmits the synchronization signal by adopting the transmission power corresponding to the synchronization signal.
The relay node transmits the synchronous signal information through an air interface, so that the deployment cost can be effectively reduced, and rapid deployment can be realized. Meanwhile, because the synchronization signal in the NR is different from the synchronization signal of the traditional LTE, the synchronization signal information is automatically acquired through an air interface, so that manual configuration can be avoided, and the configuration efficiency is improved. On the other hand, since NR supports the function of partial bandwidth BWP, different relay nodes in a cell can work on the same BWP or different BWP with a Donor node to better adapt to the service requirements of different locations in the cell, and therefore, the synchronization signal information of the relay node is configured through an air interface, which has greater flexibility and freedom to adapt to the requirement of network service change.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of a process of acquiring synchronization signal information and transmitting by a relay node according to an embodiment of the present application. The network elements included in fig. 3 include a base station, such as a gNB (Next Generation Node B, gNB), an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF)/Session Management Function (SMF), a User Plane Function (UPF), a Unified Data Management (SMF)/Authentication Server Function (AUSF), an Operation Administration and Maintenance (OAM) Node, a host Node, i.e., a Donor Node, and a neighbor base station. It should be understood that the names of the above Network elements do not limit the method of the embodiment, and in some implementations, the AMF/SMF is also referred to as Mobility Management Entity (MME), the UPF is also referred to as Serving Gateway (S-GW)/Packet Data Network Gateway (P-GW), and the UDM/AUSF is also referred to as Home Subscriber Server (HSS). Any modification or substitution that can be easily made by a person skilled in the art is intended to fall within the technical scope disclosed in the present embodiment. The method comprises the following steps:
and S301, starting the relay node, namely powering on and starting the relay node.
S302, the relay node is used as a common UE to execute an attaching process in the power-on starting process, wherein the attaching process comprises an authentication process, and the authentication process is completed through interaction between AMF/SMF and UDM/AUSF. In the authentication procedure, the relay node is identified as a relay node. After the authentication is passed, the relay node can be attached to the current base station and a network element AMF/SMF of the core network, and the base station establishes a secure connection to the OAM node according to an Access Point Number (APN) provided by the relay node. The attach procedure is defined in the standard, such as 3GPP 23.501, and should be familiar to those skilled in the art, and will not be described in detail.
And S303, after the relay node is used as the attachment process of the UE and the bearer to the OAM node is established, the relay node can be connected to the OAM node through a user plane gateway UPF, the OAM node identifies the identifier of the relay node, and when the relay node is judged to be a legal relay node, the OAM node provides initial parameters for the relay node, wherein the initial parameters comprise a Donor node list.
S304, after the relay node obtains the initial parameter from the OAM node, because the base station currently accessed by the relay node may not be the base station in the Donor node list, or the AMF/SMF selected by the currently accessed base station does not support the access of the relay node, the relay node uses itself as the UE and performs a Detach (Detach) process to remove the data in the currently accessed base station and AMF/SMF, thereby completing the first stage process, that is, the first stage is that the relay node accesses itself as the UE and obtains the initial parameter. The detach procedure is defined by a standard protocol, such as 3GPP 38.501 protocol, and should be well known to those skilled in the art, and will not be described in detail.
And S305, the relay node executes the second stage process after obtaining the Donor node list. Since the relay node has already obtained the Donor node list, it can perform the attach procedure with itself as the relay node. In the process, the relay node accesses to a certain Donor node in the initial configuration parameters in the first stage, and also executes the authentication process to AMF/SMF and UDM/AUSF, after the authentication is passed, the Donor node establishes the process of the control plane bearing to AMF/SMF for the relay node. The Donor node establishes a user plane security tunnel connection to the OAM node for the relay node so that the relay node can obtain configuration information from the OAM node.
And S306, after the relay node is connected to the OAM node, the OAM node further configures the relay node. The OAM node configures information including synchronization signal information, Cell Global Identifier (CGI), etc. for the relay node, and sends to the relay node through an air interface of the Donor node. The synchronization signal information is as described above and is not described in detail. The CGI may be named differently in different systems, such as an Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN) CGI (ECGI) also referred to as CGI in LTE, and it should be understood that any changes or substitutions that can be easily made by one of ordinary skill in the art are within the technical scope of the present disclosure. In this step, the OAM module of the relay node establishes a connection to the OAM node over IP, the transmission of its data, such as configuration parameters, being established above the IP layer.
If the synchronization signal information contains the indication information of the synchronization signal acquisition mode and indicates the relay node to acquire the synchronization signal information through the synchronization signal of the Donor node, the relay node generates the synchronization signal by using the synchronization signal information acquired from the Donor node and transmits the synchronization signal without acquiring the synchronization signal information from the network. In the subsequent embodiment, the synchronization signal information may only include indication information of a synchronization signal acquisition manner, which indicates the relay node to acquire the synchronization signal information from the Donor node, and the synchronization signal information does not include parameters of other synchronization signal information and is not described again.
It should be understood that, the step S306 further includes an acknowledgement message after the relay node receives the synchronization signal and the CGI information, that is, sending an acknowledgement message to the network, indicating that the relay node receives the configuration information. The configuration information of OAM is application layer data above the IP layer, i.e., OAM control/configuration data.
And S307, the relay node sends the synchronous signal according to the information of the synchronous signal. The UE served by the relay node can select to camp on or access the relay node by the synchronization signal sent by the middle node. If the synchronization signal information only comprises the indication information of the synchronization signal acquisition mode, the relay node automatically acquires the synchronization signal information from the Donor node, generates the synchronization signal and the PBCH information of the relay node according to the acquired synchronization signal information, and transmits the synchronization signal and the PBCH information at an air interface.
It should be understood that after the step S306, the relay node may also initiate the establishment procedures of S1 and X2, and the procedures of the Donor node updating bearer configuration and updating cell information. The above process is not shown in fig. 3, but the setup process of S1 and X2 exists and is not described again.
The OAM node in the above-mentioned figure is only one functional entity, and this embodiment only takes the OAM node as an example, and in a future network, this function may be integrated into other nodes, such as AMF/SMF, and this embodiment is not limited. It should be understood that the OAM node may also be any other entity or module having configuration functions, and any changes or substitutions that may be easily contemplated by one of ordinary skill in the art are within the scope of the present application.
According to the embodiment, the relay node can obtain the synchronization signal information from the OAM node, so that the synchronization signal is generated according to the synchronization signal information and is sent, the configuration problem of the synchronization signal information of the relay node is solved, the scheme only needs to perform one-time configuration on the synchronization signal information through the OAM node, and the implementation scheme is simplified.
Fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a method for a relay node to acquire synchronization signal information from a Donor node according to the present invention. In some scenarios, especially when layer 2 relaying is performed, the synchronization information of the Donor node does not need to be configured to the relay node through the OAM node, but is configured to the relay node through the Donor. It should be understood that the scenario herein is not limited to layer 2 relaying, but layer 3 relaying may also be sent to the relay node by the Donor node. The method comprises the following steps: the network node sends synchronization signal information to the relay node through an air interface, wherein the synchronization signal information comprises at least one of the following information: the method comprises the following steps of synchronizing the subcarrier interval of a signal, the frequency band information of the work of a relay node, the information of a physical broadcast channel of the relay node, the period of the synchronizing signal and the indication information of the acquiring mode of the synchronizing signal; and the network node receives the confirmation message sent by the relay node. The above method may further include: the network node receives a synchronous signal information configuration request sent by the operation management and maintenance node, wherein the synchronous signal information configuration request is used for indicating the network node to send the synchronous signal information to the relay node. The method comprises the following steps:
S401-S405 are the same as steps S301-S305 in FIG. 3, and are not described again.
S406 is different from step S306 in fig. 3 in that the OAM node configures a CGI only for the relay node in this step, and does not configure synchronization signal information. When the OAM node does not configure synchronization signal information for the relay node, the OAM node may control the Donor node to configure synchronization signal information for the relay node, or the OAM node may control the relay node to actively request the Donor node configuration, or the OAM node instructs the relay node to automatically read from the SS/PBCH block sent by the Donor node. The configuration parameters sent by the OAM node may include indication information of a synchronization signal acquisition manner, where the indication information of the synchronization signal acquisition manner is used to indicate a manner in which the relay node acquires synchronization signal information. Specifically, the manner of acquiring the synchronization signal information may be: OAM node configuration (as in the scheme shown in fig. 3), or the Donor node is configured for the relay node, or the relay node actively requests from the Donor node, or the relay node automatically reads from the SS/PBCH block sent by the Donor node. When all the information of the synchronization signal sent by the relay node is already included in the synchronization signal information sent by the OAM node to the relay node, the acquisition mode indication is optional. Alternatively, the method for acquiring the synchronization signal information in one of the above manners may be determined in a manner defined by a protocol, and in this case, the indication information of the synchronization signal acquisition manner is not needed. The indication information of the acquisition mode of the synchronization signal information may further include PCI or CGI information of the Donor node. Here, the indication information of the synchronization signal acquisition mode included in the configuration parameter by the OAM node is usually configured in advance in the system of the OAM node by the OAM node according to the network specification, and may also be other modes, for example, the OAM node automatically determines the configuration parameter according to the attribute of the relay node, such as a layer 2 node or a layer 3 node. The present application is not limited in particular.
As described above, if the indication information of the synchronization signal acquisition manner in the configuration parameters sent by the OAM node indicates that the relay node automatically acquires the synchronization signal information through the SS/PBCH block sent by the Donor node, the relay node will automatically read the SS/PBCH block sent by the Donor node and acquire the synchronization signal information related parameters. At this time, the relay node skips the step of S407 described below and proceeds directly to the synchronization signal transmission process of step S408.
It should be understood that, the step S406 further includes an acknowledgement message after the relay node receives the synchronization signal and the CGI information, that is, sending an acknowledgement message to the network, indicating that the relay node receives the configuration information. The configuration information sent by the OAM node is application layer data above the IP layer, i.e., OAM control/configuration data.
S407, if the synchronization signal information of the relay node is not automatically obtained by the relay node automatically reading the SS/PBCH block of the Donor node, the OAM node may instruct the Donor node to send the synchronization signal information to the relay node, or instruct the relay node to actively request the Donor node to send the synchronization signal information. When the relay node and the Donor node are acquired in any mode, the relay node and the Donor node are required to interact. At this time, the synchronization signal information may be encapsulated in an RRC message to be transmitted, such as an RRC reconfiguration message.
If the OAM node indicates the Donor node to send the synchronization signal information to the relay node, it may indicate, in the synchronization signal information sent to the relay node, that the Donor node will send the synchronization signal information to the relay node, or through a protocol definition mode, which is not limited in this application. At this time, the relay node does not need to actively request the Donor node to send the synchronization signal information, and waits for receiving the synchronization signal information sent by the Donor node after receiving the configuration information of the OAM node.
It should be understood that the above is only an RRC reconfiguration message as an example, and the RRC reconfiguration message is not limited to be used, and may also be an RRC connection reconfiguration message or other RRC configuration messages. The present application only uses a specific message name as an example, and does not limit the use of a specific message, and any change or replacement of the RRC message, which is easily contemplated by a person skilled in the art, is within the protection scope of the present application, and the following examples of the RRC message are the same and will not be described again.
It should be understood that step S407 herein includes either of the two schemes, that is, the Donor node actively configures the synchronization signal information to the relay node, or the relay node actively requests the Donor node to send the synchronization signal information. When the OAM node configures the relay node to automatically acquire the synchronization signal information from the SS/PBCH block sent by the Donor node, step S407 is not performed.
It should be understood that after the step of S407, the relay node may also initiate the establishment procedures of S1 and X2, and the procedures of the Donor node updating the bearer configuration and updating the cell information. The above process is not shown in fig. 3, but the setup process of S1 and X2 exists and is not described again.
By the scheme, the relay node can acquire the synchronous signal information from the Donor node, the configuration process is simplified, the configuration efficiency is improved, and the quick acquisition of the synchronous signal information can be realized.
In an alternative scheme, as described in the foregoing embodiment, the OAM node may configure the synchronization signal information for the relay node in various ways. The steps S406 and S407 in fig. 4 are different according to the different arrangement of the synchronization signal information. The way in which the OAM node instructs the relay node to automatically acquire the synchronization signal information by sending the SS/PBCH block by the Donor node is as described above, the following embodiments are only used for the implementation method in which the OAM node instructs the Donor node to configure the synchronization signal information for the relay node, or instructs the relay node to actively request the Donor node to send the synchronization signal information. Fig. 5 is a flowchart illustrating that a Donor node configures synchronization signal information for a relay node according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Specifically, the OAM node simultaneously requests the Donor node to configure the synchronization signal information for the relay node, and after receiving the request of the OAM node, the Donor node sends the synchronization signal information to the relay node through the air interface. The method comprises the following steps:
s501, the OAM node sends a synchronization signal configuration request to the Donor node, where the synchronization signal configuration request includes an identifier of the relay node, where the identifier may be an IP address, or a CGI, or a MAC address, or any other identifier of the relay node. The Donor node may obtain information transmitted over the air interface of the relay node, such as a Cell Radio Network Temporary Identifier (C-RNTI), through the Identifier of the relay node.
S502, after receiving the synchronization signal configuration request sent by the OAM node, the Donor node replies a synchronization signal information configuration response message to the OAM node, confirms that the request is received, and continues to step S503.
And S503, the Donor node sends the synchronization signal information to the relay node through the RRC reconfiguration message. As described above, if the relay node indicates, in the received synchronization signal information of the OAM node, that the Donor is to send synchronization signal information to the relay node, or the protocol defines that the Donor node is to send synchronization signal information, the relay node waits for receiving the synchronization signal information sent by the Donor node. After receiving the synchronization signal information sent by the Donor node, the relay node continues to step S504 and performs step S408 shown in fig. 4, that is, sends the synchronization signal. The synchronization signal information is as described above and will not be described in detail.
S504, the relay node sends a confirmation message to the Donor node, where the confirmation message may be an RRC reconfiguration complete message.
By the scheme, the network actively triggers the sending of the synchronous signal information, so that the relay node can acquire the synchronous signal information more quickly, the acquisition process of the synchronous signal information of the relay node is accelerated, and the air interface signaling overhead is reduced.
In an alternative scheme, as described above, the steps S406 and S407 in fig. 4 may also be that the relay node actively initiates a synchronization signal request to acquire synchronization signal information. Fig. 6 is a flowchart of a relay node requesting synchronization signal information according to an embodiment of the present application. The method comprises the following steps:
steps S601-S602 are the same as steps S501-S502, and are not repeated.
S603, if the relay node indicates that the relay node actively initiates a synchronous signal information request to the Donor node from the synchronous signal information received by the OAM node, or the protocol definition, the relay node actively initiates a synchronous signal information request to the Donor node after receiving the configuration parameters of the OAM node, and the relay node sends the synchronous signal information request to the Donor node after receiving the configuration of the synchronous signal information of the OAM node. The synchronization signal information request includes an indication of requesting a synchronization signal, and may further include an identifier of the relay node, where the specific identifier is described above and is not described again. The synchronization signal information request may be an RRC message or a specific MAC Control Element (CE).
S604, after receiving the synchronization signal information request, the Donor node sends synchronization signal information to the relay node, where the synchronization signal information may be carried in an RRC message, such as an RRC reconfiguration message, or may be carried in an MAC CE. The synchronization signal information is as described above and will not be described in detail.
And S605, after receiving the synchronization signal information, the relay node sends a confirmation message to the Donor node to confirm the receipt of the synchronization signal information. The confirmation message may be a synchronization signal configuration completion, which may be transmitted through an RRC message, such as an RRC reconfiguration complete message, or a MAC CE.
It should be understood that the above-mentioned synchronization signal information request, synchronization signal information and synchronization signal configuration completion can be part of the RRC parameters, and the RRC message names are used with uniform names. For example, the synchronization signal information request is part of an RRC connection request message, and the RRC connection request is a unified message name that can be used for multiple requests. Similarly, the synchronization signal information is part of the RRC reconfiguration and the synchronization signal configuration complete is part of the RRC reconfiguration complete message. This is only an example and does not constitute a limitation on which RRC message the synchronization signal information request, the synchronization signal information and the synchronization signal configuration completion belong to.
After acquiring the synchronization signal information, the relay node performs step S408 shown in fig. 4, that is, synchronization signal transmission.
Through the scheme, the relay node actively requests the synchronous signal information, and the time when the synchronous signal information is requested to be sent can be selected according to the state of the relay node, so that the method is more flexible.
In an alternative scheme, the relay node has completed the above second stage of parameter configuration, that is, has sent the synchronization signal and provides service for the UE. In some cases, the relay node is restarted due to a power interruption or other reasons, or a Donor node is reselected from the Donor node list provided in step S303 shown in fig. 3 or step S403 shown in fig. 4. At this time, if the Donor node is re-accessed, the foregoing first and second stage processes may be performed, and as an alternative, the Donor node may be directly accessed. Fig. 7 is a flowchart illustrating a procedure for acquiring synchronization signal information by a relay node in an access process according to an embodiment of the present application. The method comprises the following steps:
steps S701-S702 are conventional random access procedures, which are well known to those skilled in the art and will not be described in detail.
And S703, the relay node sends a message 3 to the Donor node, wherein the message 3 is the third message in the random access process, namely, the message initiated to the Donor node after receiving the random access response. The message 3 carries different contents depending on different purposes, for example, if the UE initiates a service request, the message 3 contains an RRC connection establishment request message, and if the UE is in a connected state and loses synchronization, the message 3 contains data. When the relay node needs to acquire the synchronization signal information of the Donor node, the synchronization signal information request may be sent in the message 3, where the synchronization signal information request is an RRC message, such as an RRC connection request message, the synchronization signal information request may include an indication requesting a synchronization signal, and the RRC message may further include an identifier of the relay node. The identifier of the relay node is as described above and is not described in detail. The indication of requesting the synchronization signal is used for notifying the Donor node, and the relay node needs the Donor node to send synchronization signal information to the relay node.
S704, contention resolution with conventional random access, which is well known to those skilled in the art, will not be described in detail.
S705, the Donor node sends an RRC reconfiguration message to the relay node. The RRC reconfiguration message includes synchronization signal information or indication information of a synchronization signal acquisition mode. If the RRC reconfiguration message includes the synchronization signal information, the relay node generates a synchronization signal using the synchronization signal information, and the synchronization signal information is not described again as described above.
If the carrier frequency of the Donor node is not divided into at least two BWPs, and the Donor node configures the relay node as a layer 2 relay, the Donor node may configure the working carrier frequency of the relay node to be the same as the Donor, at this time, the Donor node may send only indication information of one synchronization signal acquisition mode to the relay node, where the indication information of the synchronization signal acquisition mode indicates that the relay node automatically reads synchronization signal information from an SS/PBCH block of the Donor node, and generates a synchronization signal using the read synchronization signal information.
In an optional scheme, although the working carrier frequency of the Donor node is not divided into at least two BWPs, the Donor node may also configure the relay node to work at a different carrier frequency, at this time, the Donor node needs to configure synchronization signal information for the relay node, and the synchronization signal information is as described above and is not described again.
S706, the relay node sends a confirmation message to the Donor node, where the confirmation message may be an RRC reconfiguration complete message to confirm receipt of the synchronization signal information.
And S707, the relay node sends the synchronous signal according to the received synchronous signal information. And if the synchronization signal information received by the relay node indicates that the relay node automatically reads the synchronization signal information from the SS/PBCH block of the Donor node, the relay node reads the SS/PBCH block of the Donor node to acquire the synchronization signal information, generates a synchronization signal and PBCH and sends the synchronization signal and the PBCH.
By the scheme, the relay node can realize quick access through the Donor node, reduces service interruption time delay, does not need to perform a parameter configuration process again through the OAM node, accelerates the starting process and reduces service interruption time delay.
In an optional scheme, after receiving the synchronization signal request message sent by the relay node in message 3, the Donor node may also send synchronization signal information in a contention resolution message. Fig. 8 is a flowchart illustrating a process of acquiring synchronization signal information in a contention resolution message by a relay node according to an embodiment of the present application. The method comprises the following steps:
steps S801 to S803 are the same as steps S701 to S703 shown in fig. 7, and are not described again.
And S804, the Donor node sends the synchronous signal information to the relay node in the competition resolving message. The synchronization signal information is encapsulated in an RRC reconfiguration message that is part of a contention resolution message. The synchronization signal information is as described above and will not be described in detail. It should be understood that when the synchronization signal information is encapsulated in the RRC reconfiguration Message and transmitted in a contention resolution Message, the RRC reconfiguration Message should not be part of a contention resolution consistent Message Authentication Code (MAC-I).
Similarly, the synchronization signal information may also include indication information of a synchronization signal acquisition manner, where the indication information of the synchronization signal acquisition manner indicates that the relay node automatically reads the synchronization signal information from the SS/PBCH block of the Donor node, which is specifically described above and is not described again.
S805-S806, and synchronization steps S706-S707, which are not described again.
By the scheme, the relay node can acquire the synchronous signal information more quickly, so that the configuration process is accelerated.
In an alternative, future wireless networks, including 5G access networks, may allow for faster access, i.e. a two-step random access procedure. If a two-step random access procedure is used, part of the data information is sent in the first message of the random access. Fig. 9 is a flowchart for acquiring synchronization signal information in a two-step random access procedure according to an embodiment of the present application. The method comprises the following steps:
s901, the relay node sends a random access preamble to the Donor node. The relay node may also carry partial data or signaling in the message for sending the random access preamble. Since the first message carries a very limited amount of data, only some basic information, such as the identity of the relay node, an indication of the request for a synchronization signal, can be transmitted. Wherein the indication of requesting the synchronization signal is used to inform the Donor node to configure the synchronization signal information for the relay node. The identifier of the relay node is as described above and is not described in detail.
And S902, after receiving the random access preamble and the data or signaling sent together with the preamble, the Donor node sends a random access response or a called message 2 to the relay node. It should be understood that any change or substitution of the message names is within the scope of the present application. The random access response message includes the synchronization signal information, and the content included in the synchronization signal information is as described above and is not described again. The synchronization signal information may be encapsulated in an RRC reconfiguration message and transmitted to the relay node together by message 2.
And S903, after receiving the synchronization signal information, the relay node confirms the message to the Donor node and confirms that the synchronization signal information is received. The confirmation message is encapsulated in an RRC reconfiguration complete message for transmission. If the synchronization signal information received by the relay node includes all the information for generating the synchronization signal, the following step S904 is performed. If the synchronization signal information received by the relay node includes indication information of a synchronization signal acquisition mode, and the indication information of the synchronization signal acquisition mode indicates that the relay node automatically reads the synchronization signal information from the SS/PBCH block of the Donor node, the relay node acquires the synchronization signal information by reading the SS/PBCH block of the Donor node, which is described in detail above and is not described again.
S904, after receiving the synchronization signal information in step S902, or automatically acquiring the synchronization signal information according to step S903, the relay node may send and send a synchronization signal according to the synchronization signal information.
By the scheme, the synchronous signal can be acquired in the two-step random access process, the starting process is accelerated, and the interrupt time delay is minimized.
In an optional scheme, one relay node may be capable of connecting to multiple optional Donor nodes due to a change of an air interface or a change of a bandwidth, and at this time, the relay node may be handed over from one Donor node to another Donor node due to a change of a bandwidth of a backhaul link or a channel quality of the backhaul link. It should be understood that the handover here refers to handover of the relay node itself, and not handover of the UE under the relay node, which may be initiated by the network actively or caused by measurement results of the relay node. Fig. 10 is a flowchart of a Donor node handover provided in the embodiment of the present application. The method comprises the following steps:
s1001, the source Donor node initiates a switching request to the target Donor node. The handover is a handover of the relay node from the source Donor node to the target Donor node. The handover request message indicates handover to the relay node and includes an identification of the relay node. The identifier of the relay node may be as described above, and is not described in detail. After receiving the handover instruction, the target Donor node may need to acquire the security parameters again, and interact with the AMF/SMF of the core network to acquire new security parameters. The process of acquiring the security parameters complies with the protocol specification of the handover process, such as the 3GPP 23.501 protocol, and is not described in detail.
S1002, the target Donor node sends a handover response message to the source Donor node, where the handover response message includes the synchronization signal information of the target Donor node, and the synchronization signal information is as described above and is not described again. Of course, other handover information, such as C-RNTI configured for the relay node, dedicated access preamble, and accessed time-frequency resource, is also included in the handover information, so that the relay node can access the target Donor node. The target Donor node may directly send the synchronization signal information to the relay node through the original Donor node in the handover response message, or may notify the relay node to automatically obtain the synchronization signal information from the target Donor node through the indication information of the synchronization signal obtaining mode, specifically depending on the Donor node, which is not limited in the present application. The synchronization signal information is encapsulated in a transparent container (transparent container) and transmitted to the source Donor node as part of the handover response message. The transparent layer may be, for example, an RRC connection reconfiguration message, and the synchronization signal information may be a part of an IE (information element) of the RRC connection reconfiguration message, for example, the IE may be a reconfigurationWithSync or mobility control information. The source Donor node does not parse the transparent container, but forwards the transparent container to the relay node, that is, the RRC connection reconfiguration message is directly forwarded to the relay node. It should be understood that this is only an example, and other IEs, and even other RRC messages, are also possible, without limitation.
S1003, after the source node receives the handover response message of the target Donor node, the source Donor node does not parse the transparent container, but forwards the transparent container to the relay node, that is, the RRC connection reconfiguration message is directly forwarded to the relay node. The relay node acquires the synchronization signal information therein.
S1004, after receiving the RRC connection reconfiguration message (i.e. the transparent container) of the target Donor node, the relay node performs access at the target Donor node by using the random access parameter therein. The access procedure may be a contention-based access procedure or a non-contention access procedure, which is familiar to those skilled in the art and will not be described in detail.
If the synchronization signal information obtained in step S1003 includes the indication information of the synchronization signal obtaining manner, and indicates that the relay node automatically obtains the synchronization signal information obtained from the target Donor node, the synchronization signal information is obtained in the process of accessing the target Donor node, and the specific synchronization signal information is as described above and is not described again.
S1005, after the relay node accesses the target Donor node, sending a confirmation message to the target cell, where the confirmation message may be a connection reconfiguration complete message. After receiving the connection reconfiguration completion message, the target Donor node requests the core network node for route modification, so that the subsequent data sent to the relay node is sent to the target Donor node, and the data forwarded by the source Donor node is received. This process is the same as the conventional handover process and is not described in detail.
Through the above steps S1004 and S1005, the relay node may handover to the target Donor node, and acquire synchronization signal information from the target Donor node, and serve as a cell or node under the target Donor node.
And S1006, after receiving the synchronization signal information sent by the target Donor node through the RRC message, the relay node generates a synchronization signal and sends the synchronization signal on an air interface. The relay node completes handover of the target Donor node from the source Donor node and serves the terminal as a cell or node under the target Donor node.
According to the embodiment, the Donor node can be dynamically changed according to the service change condition of the relay node and the condition of the backhaul link, and the signaling flow is simplified by acquiring the synchronization signal information through the switching process.
In an optional scheme, when the Donor node configures the synchronization signal information for the relay node, the configured synchronization signal information further includes a transmission power of the synchronization signal, and further, the synchronization signal information may further include a transmission power corresponding to the synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel block SS/PBCH block. Each SS/PBCH block can adopt the same transmission power or different transmission powers, wherein part of the SS/PBCH blocks adopt the same transmission power, and the other part of the SS/PBCH blocks adopt different transmission powers. Mainly because the SS/PBCH block of NR is time-shared in each direction in the form of a beam, and because the physical environment difference in each direction may be large, the transmit power of beams in different directions can be adjusted to meet the coverage requirement. Thus, each SS/PBCH block will have a corresponding transmit power when the synchronization signal is configured, where the transmit power of some SS/PBCH blocks is different from the transmit power of other SS/PBCH blocks. Here, a synchronization signal refers to a general term of all SS/PBCH blocks transmitted in one synchronization signal period, and an SS/PBCH block refers to PSS, SSs, and PBCH transmitted on a specific time-frequency resource in one synchronization signal period. The plurality of SS/PBCH blocks constitute a synchronization signal. The time-frequency resource occupied by the SS/PBCH block is not described in detail as shown in fig. 2.
By the embodiment, the transmission power of the Donor node on different SS/PBCH blocks can be configured, different coverage requirements can be met, or the coverage range of the relay node can be controlled.
In an optional scheme, the relay node receives an identifier of another relay node and synchronization signal information of another relay node sent by the superordinate node, and forwards the identifier of the another relay node and the synchronization signal information of the another relay node to the another relay node. Further, the message sent by the relay node to the another relay node may further include a correspondence between an identifier of the relay node and the synchronization signal information. In NR IAB systems, multi-hop relaying will be supported. When there is multihop relay under a Donor node, sometimes there are one or more other relay nodes between the configured relay node (alternatively referred to as a target relay node) and the Donor. At this time, when the Donor node performs relay node configuration, the configured information needs to be forwarded by an intermediate relay node to reach the target relay node. In some cases, the change of the synchronization signal information may be caused by a change of the Donor synchronization information, for example, a change of a configuration of a certain frequency band subcarrier interval, and at this time, one or more relay nodes under the Donor node need to be reconfigured, and the information of the synchronization signal of the one or more relay nodes may be different from the information of the synchronization signal of other relay nodes, for example, the transmission power of the SS/PBCH block is different, and therefore, the one or more relay nodes need to be configured.
Fig. 11 is a flowchart of a synchronization signal configuration with multiple stages of relay nodes according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The graph includes two relay nodes, which are a first relay node and a second relay node, respectively, where the first relay node is a superior node of the second relay node. It should be understood that other relay nodes may be included and have a hierarchical relationship between the relay nodes. The method comprises the following steps:
s1101, the Donor node sends an RRC reconfiguration message to the subordinate relay node, where the RRC reconfiguration message includes an identifier of the relay node and synchronization signal information corresponding to the identifier of the relay node, that is, there is a correspondence between the identifier of the relay node and the synchronization signal information. Here, the Donor node may actively initiate a reconfiguration process of the synchronization signal information, or may be a configuration process of the Donor node sending the synchronization signal information due to the joining of a certain relay node below. It should be understood that, here, the node Donor initiates reconfiguration of synchronization signal information may be triggered by other nodes or by a network, and this embodiment is not limited thereto.
S1102, after receiving the RRC reconfiguration message, the first relay node first determines whether synchronization signal information in the RRC reconfiguration message is sent to the first relay node, for example, the first relay node obtains an identifier of the relay node in the RRC reconfiguration message, and if the identifier of the first relay node is included, obtains synchronization signal information of the first relay node in the RRC reconfiguration message, and executes S1141, and returns an RRC reconfiguration complete message to the Donor node. After the first relay node acquires its own synchronization signal information in step S1102, a new synchronization signal may be generated based on the synchronization signal information and transmitted over the air interface.
If the first relay node finds that the RRC reconfiguration message comprises the identification of the other relay node, the other relay node is a next-level node of the relay node, and the relay node forwards the identification of the other relay node and the synchronization signal information of the other relay node to the other relay node. The forwarded RRC reconfiguration message may include synchronization signal information of a plurality of other relay nodes, and in order to distinguish synchronization signal information of different relay nodes, the RRC reconfiguration message further includes a correspondence between an identifier of another relay node and synchronization signal information of another relay node, that is, the identifier of the another relay node and the synchronization signal information of the another relay node are sent in the same message, and the identifier of the another relay node and the synchronization signal information of the another relay node have a correspondence. It is assumed here that each relay node knows all subordinate relay nodes and their routes, i.e. the topological relations of all subordinate relay nodes. It should be understood that if the RRC reconfiguration message sent by the Donor to the first relay node includes the identifier of the first relay node, the identifier of the first relay node and the corresponding synchronization signal information should not be included in the RRC reconfiguration message.
S1103, after the foregoing 1102, the first relay node determines to forward the RRC reconfiguration message, and sends the RRC reconfiguration message to another relay node, that is, the second relay node. After receiving the RRC reconfiguration message, the second relay node performs the same check as in S1102, and if the second relay node includes the identifier of its own relay node, performs step S11042, and sends an RRC reconfiguration complete message to the Donor node.
Specifically, if the first relay node finds that the RRC reconfiguration message includes an identifier of another relay node, and the another relay node is a node next to the relay node, the first intermediate node determines that the RRC reconfiguration message needs to be forwarded to the another intermediate node. It is assumed here that the first relay node knows all subordinate relay nodes and their routes, i.e. the topological relations of all subordinate relay nodes. If the first relay node does not know all subordinate relay nodes and routes thereof, the first relay node can find that the RRC reconfiguration message comprises the identifier of another relay node, and the identifier of another relay node is not the direct subordinate node of the first relay node, and the first relay node directly sends the RRC reconfiguration message comprising another relay node to the direct subordinate relay node of the first relay node.
S11041 and S11042, as described above, if the Donor node sends the RRC reconfiguration message including the identifier of the first relay node, the first relay node sends an acknowledgement message to the Donor node, where the acknowledgement message may be an RRC reconfiguration complete message, and the message includes the identifier of the first relay node. Similarly, the second relay node returns an RRC reconfiguration complete message, which includes the identity of the second relay node. In an alternative scheme, the first relay node waits for the RRC reconfiguration complete messages of its subordinate relay nodes, and combines the RRC reconfiguration complete messages of all the nodes into one message to be sent to the Donor node.
The above embodiments are also applicable to scenarios in which the Donor node reconfigures the synchronization signal. At this time, if the synchronization signal of one node is reconfigured, the synchronization signal information includes a reconfiguration indication, and the reconfiguration indication corresponds to the identifier of the relay node.
By the embodiment, the configuration or reconfiguration of the synchronization signal information can be simultaneously performed on the configuration of the plurality of relay nodes, and particularly, under the condition that the Donor synchronization signal changes, the Donor node can update the synchronization signal information of the plurality of relay nodes at one time, so that the configuration of each relay node is avoided, and the signaling overhead is saved.
In an optional scheme, the synchronization signal information further includes BWP information corresponding to the synchronization signal information, and the relay node transmits the synchronization signal on the BWP according to the BWP information corresponding to the synchronization signal information. In NR, since the bandwidth of a carrier frequency is relatively large, in order to adapt to different traffic needs, a relatively large carrier frequency is divided into different bandwidth portions, i.e. each BWP belongs to one carrier frequency and occupies a part of the bandwidth of the carrier frequency. Different BWPs may have different Numerology, i.e., may have different subcarrier spacing, and different BWPs may independently transmit the SS/PBCH block. The SS/PBCH blocks transmitted by the BWPs may be different, for example, the transmission power of each SS/PBCH block may be different, and the subcarrier interval may be different, so that the synchronization signal information should include information of the BWPs, that is, to which BWP the synchronization signal information corresponds, and the relay node generates the synchronization signal according to the synchronization signal information and then transmits the synchronization signal on the corresponding BWP.
By the embodiment, the synchronization signal can be configured for different BWPs, and when the relay node configured by the Donor operates in different BWPs, different BWPs can be used to support different types of services, and different locations may have different services due to different regions. Therefore, the relay nodes are configured on different BWPs, so that the Donor nodes can flexibly support different services at different positions of a cell. According to the service requirement, the Numerology for adapting to the service is configured, and the relay node and the Donor can work on different BWPs at the moment, so that the synchronous signal information can be different, thereby enhancing the service adaptation and regulation capability of the NR network and optimizing the network bandwidth to adapt to the deployment of the service.
In all the above embodiments, the synchronization signal information may be transmitted through RRC messages. In an alternative scheme, the RRC message structure including the synchronization signal information may be as follows:
the above message physcellldpart 1 is the first part of the PCI with values ranging from 0-335 (including 0 and 335). physcellldpart 2 is the second part of the PCI and has values ranging from 0-2 (including 0 and 2). Numerology parm is used to determine the subcarrier spacing, and the specific value is referred to 38.211, and one of ordinary skill in the art will appreciate that the corresponding Numerology values will vary from one SS/PBCH block to another. The freqIndex is used to specify frequency band information of the relay node, and is indicated by an index, which is just an example, and the specific value is defined according to a protocol. The ssPeriod is the transmission period of the SS/PBCH block, and the definition of the period is described in the foregoing embodiments and is not described again. physsbroadcastch is the configuration Information of PBCH, and it should be understood that PBCH and MIB (Master Information Block, MIB) defined in 3GPP 38.331 protocol have a certain difference, where PBCH is mainly used to determine some initialization parameters, while some dynamic parameters do not need to be transmitted, and the relay node can obtain from the Donor node. Therefore, PBCH may be configured by selecting some or all parameters as required, different from MIB defined in 3GPP 38.331 protocol. The specific PBCH parameters may refer to the MIB information in 38.331. The method also comprises the transmission power of each SS/PBCH block, the index information of BWP, the identification of the relay node and the indication information of the synchronous signal acquisition mode.
It should be understood that the above is only an example in which one piece of synchronization signal information is carried in the RRC message, and the parameters in the RRC message of the synchronization signal information of this embodiment may be configured by selecting different parameters according to different scenarios, that is, some of the parameters are optional. For example, if the Donor node instructs the relay node to automatically acquire the synchronization signal information from the synchronization signal of the Donor node, only the indication information ssacquiring way of the synchronization signal acquisition mode may be included; in the case of layer 2 relay, especially in a scenario supporting different BWPs, the subcarrier spacing, the field index information in the PBCH, DMRS information, BWP index information, and the like may be configured. It should be understood that the specific configuration of the specific synchronization signal information can be flexibly configured as desired. Any modifications or alterations that may occur to one of ordinary skill in the art are intended to be within the scope of this application. It should be understood that, if the OAM node configures the synchronization signal information for the relay node, its transmission format may be different from the above-mentioned RRC message format, but the content is the same and will not be described again.
It should be understood that the above description is only one possible data structure representation of the synchronization signal information of the RRC when the synchronization signal information is transmitted by the RRC, but the present invention is not limited to other representations of the synchronization signal information. For example, when the OAM node transmits the synchronization signal information to the relay node, it may use other structured representation manners to transmit the synchronization signal information, for example, each parameter may be transmitted in a format of type, length, and value, for example, a type code is used to represent the meaning of a certain field, such as the binary 000001 of the type code of physcelldpart 1, the length represents the length corresponding to the value of the type code, usually expressed in bytes or bits, and the value is the size of a specific configured value, such as the value of physcelldpart 1 is 99. It should be understood that this is only an example and does not limit the configuration of the fields of the synchronization signal information. The specific representation mode of the type, length and value of each field depends on the protocol definition and is not described in detail.
The above-mentioned scheme provided by the embodiment of the present application is introduced mainly from the perspective of interaction between network elements. It is to be understood that each network element, for example, a relay node, a Donor node, an OAM node, in order to implement the above functions, includes a hardware structure and/or a software module corresponding to the respective functions.
