Description

Sliding rail assembly
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a sliding rail, and more particularly to a sliding rail assembly capable of forcibly driving a sliding assisting device to a predetermined position.
Background
U.S. Pat. No. 9,980,566 B2 discloses a track assembly including a first track, a second track, a stop, a ball retainer, and a stop. The second rail is movably displaced relative to the first rail; the baffle seat is arranged on the first rail and is provided with an abutting part; the ball retainer is used for facilitating the movement between the second rail and the first rail, and is provided with a contact part, wherein the contact part of the ball retainer is a fixed part (an immovable part); the blocking piece can be operated from a first state to a second state relative to the second rail; when the blocking piece is in the first state, the blocking piece can push the ball retainer to displace by means of the contact part according to the movement of the second rail in an opening direction until the blocking piece is propped against the propping part of the blocking seat, at the moment, a clamping feature of the ball retainer is mutually clamped with an elastic foot on the blocking seat of the first rail, so that the ball retainer can be temporarily maintained and stopped at a preset position, and the contact part of the ball retainer and the propping part of the blocking seat are mutually staggered.
However, the aforementioned "offset" positions require spatial support and, once out of production manufacturing tolerances, such as oversized or positioned too close together, can affect the smoothness of displacement of the ball retainer. Therefore, with the varied market demands, how to develop a different slide rail product becomes a non-negligible issue.

The first rail 22 is movably mounted between the third rail 26 and the second rail 24, and the first rail 22 can be used to extend the displacement travel of the second rail 24 relative to the third rail 26. In this embodiment, the third rail 26 (e.g., an outer rail), the first rail 22 (e.g., a middle rail), and the second rail 24 (e.g., an inner rail) are longitudinally displaceable relative to one another. In fig. 1 and 2, the X-axis is taken as the longitudinal direction (or the length direction of the slide rail), the Y-axis is taken as the transverse direction (or the lateral direction of the slide rail), and the Z-axis is taken as the vertical direction (or the height direction of the slide rail).

The first portion 54a, the second portion 54b, and the longitudinal portion 56 correspond to the first wall 34a, the second wall 34b, and the longitudinal wall 36, respectively, of the first rail 22.
The slide assembly 20 further includes a resilient member 58 disposed on the body 33 of the slide assist device 46. In this embodiment, the elastic member 58 and the main body 33 are two independent components, but the implementation is not limited thereto.
Preferably, the elastic member 58 is arranged at the longitudinal portion 56 of the main body 33. Wherein the elastic member 58 comprises a connecting portion 60, an elastic portion 62 and a predetermined portion 64; the connecting portion 60 of the elastic member 58 is connected (e.g. fixed) to the longitudinal portion 56 of the main body 33, the elastic portion 62 extends from the connecting portion 60, and the predetermined portion 64 is located on the elastic portion 62, where the predetermined portion 64 is, for example, a protrusion protruding from the elastic portion 62, but is not limited in implementation; the elastic member 58 is supported by the elastic portion 62 and the longitudinal wall 36 of the first rail 22 to be in an initial state K1 and accumulate an elastic force F.
Preferably, the longitudinal portion 56 of the main body 33 has a space 65 (e.g. an opening) for communicating with both sides of the longitudinal portion 56 of the main body 33; the elastic portion 62 penetrates the space 65 to mutually support the longitudinal wall 36 of the first rail 22, so that the elastic portion 62 is in the initial state K1 and the elastic force F is accumulated.
Preferably, the slide assembly 20 further includes a detent 66 disposed on the first rail 22. The locking member 66 includes a fixing portion 68 and an elastic arm 70. The fixing portion 68 is fixed to the longitudinal wall 36 of the first rail 22; the elastic arm 70 extends from the fixing portion 68, and the elastic arm 70 has a fastening section 72 thereon. On the other hand, the main body 33 of the sliding assisting device 46 further comprises a fastening portion 74, and the fastening portion 74 is used in cooperation with the fastening portion 72. The button 74 is located adjacent the front end of the main body 33, but is not limited in implementation.
As shown in fig. 4, the slide assembly 20 further includes a working member 76 disposed on the second rail 24. Further, the working member 76 is movably mounted on the second rail 24, wherein the working member 76 is pivotally connected to the second rail 24 via a shaft 78.
Preferably, the slide assembly 20 further comprises an operating member 80 and an auxiliary seat 82. The operating member 80 is used to operate the working member 76. The operating member 80 is movably mounted to the second rail 24. For example, the operating member 80 can be displaced relative to the second rail 24 along the length of the second rail 24. Wherein the second rail 24 includes at least one retaining feature 84, and the retaining feature 84 is operable to support the operating member 80 to promote stability of the operating member 80 when it is displaced by operation.
Preferably, the operation member 80 includes an operation portion 86a, a driving portion 86b, and an extension portion 86c connected between the operation portion 86a and the driving portion 86 b.
Preferably, the auxiliary seat 82 is disposed on the second rail 24, and the auxiliary seat 82 is used to provide elastic force to the workpiece 76. Here, the auxiliary seat 82 includes an elastic section 88, and the elastic section 88 is used to provide elastic force to the working member 76, for example, the working member 76 can be kept in a first state S1 in response to the elastic force of the elastic section 88.
As shown in fig. 5, the first rail 22 extends opposite the third rail 26, and the front portion 22a of the first rail 22 extends beyond the front portion 26a of the third rail 26. The working member 76 is maintained in the first state S1 in response to the elastic force of the elastic section 88 of the auxiliary seat 82.
As shown in fig. 5, 6 and 7, when the second rail 24 (fig. 6 and 7 omitted from illustration) moves from a retracted position to an opening direction D1 relative to the first rail 22, the working member 76 in the first state S1 contacts the predetermined portion 64 (shown in fig. 5 and 6) of the elastic member 58 in the initial state K1, so as to forcibly drive the sliding assisting device 46 to the opening direction D1 to a predetermined position P (shown in fig. 7). When the sliding assisting device 46 is at the predetermined position P, the elastic member 58 releases the elastic force F through the predetermined space 52 of the first rail 22, so that the elastic member 58 is switched from the initial state K1 (shown in fig. 5 and 6) to a non-initial state K2 (shown in fig. 7), and the working member 76 is no longer in contact with the elastic member 58.
Further, when the second rail 24 is displaced relative to the first rail 22 in the opening direction D1, the working member 76 contacts the predetermined portion 64 (as shown in fig. 5 and 6) of the elastic portion 62 of the elastic member 58 to forcibly drive the sliding-assisting device 46 to displace in the opening direction D1, thereby ensuring that the sliding-assisting device 46 is close to the front portion 22a of the first rail 22. This has the advantage, for example, that it is ensured that the first wall 40a and the second wall 40b of a predetermined rail section (e.g. the middle rail section and/or the rear rail section, but not limited to practice) of the second rail 24 are well supported by (the rolling elements 48 of) the sliding aid 46 (as shown in fig. 5).
When the sliding assisting device 46 is forcibly driven to a predetermined position P (as shown in fig. 7), the elastic portion 62 of the elastic member 58 releases the elastic force F through the predetermined space 52 of the longitudinal wall 36 of the first rail 22, so that the elastic portion 62 of the elastic member 58 moves laterally (or laterally) from the initial state K1 (as shown in fig. 5 and 6) to the non-initial state K2 (as shown in fig. 7), and thus, the predetermined portions 64 of the elastic portion 62 of the elastic member 58 and the working member 76 are offset from each other, so that the working member 76 no longer contacts the predetermined portion 64 of the elastic portion 62 of the elastic member 58.
As shown in fig. 8, 9 and 10, when the second rail 24 (fig. 8 and 9 omitted from illustration of the second rail 24) is further displaced toward the opening direction D1 to an extended position E relative to the first rail 22, the blocking feature 50 of the first rail 22 can block the working member 76 in the first state S1 to prevent the second rail 24 from being displaced from the extended position E toward the opening direction D1 (as shown in fig. 9 and 10).
Preferably, when the second rail 24 is further displaced to the extended position E in the opening direction D1 relative to the first rail 22, the sliding assisting device 46 is also displaced (differentially displaced) along with the second rail 24 in the opening direction D1 by a predetermined distance J (as shown in fig. 8 and 9), such that (the fastening section 72 of) the fastening member 66 is used to fasten (the fastening portion 74 of) the sliding assisting device 46, so that the sliding assisting device 46 can be temporarily maintained at a position close to the front portion 22a of the first rail 22 (as shown in fig. 10).
It should be noted that the differential displacement refers to that when the second rail 24 is displaced relative to the first rail 22, the rolling element 48 of the sliding assisting device 46 rolls in response to the displacement of the second rail 24, so that the sliding assisting device 46 is displaced in such a way that the displacement is smaller than the actual displacement of the second rail 24. Since this part is a technical scope that can be understood by a person skilled in the art, it is not described in detail herein for the sake of brevity.
In addition, the second rail 24 can be displaced from the extended position E to a folding direction D2 relative to the first rail 22. When the second rail 24 is displaced from the extended position E toward the folding direction D2, the (fastening section 72 of the) fastening member 66 and the (fastening portion 74 of the) sliding assisting device 46 can be released from the fastening relationship by a predetermined feature 90 or a predetermined portion (e.g. a slant or a cambered surface, as shown in fig. 10) of the second rail 24. For example, the predetermined feature 90 can drive the elastic arm 70 of the locking member 66 to deflect by an angle, so as to release the locking relationship between (the locking section 72 of) the locking member 66 and (the locking portion 74 of) the sliding assisting device 46, which is not described herein for brevity, since this portion is a technical scope that can be understood by a person skilled in the art. Furthermore, once the (fastening section 72 of the) fastening member 66 and the (fastening section 74 of the) sliding assisting device 46 are released, the rolling member 48 of the sliding assisting device 46 rolls in response to the displacement of the second rail 24 in the retracting direction D2, so that the sliding assisting device 46 is displaced (differentially displaced) in the retracting direction D2, and in the process, (the elastic section 62 of) the elastic member 58 can leave the predetermined space 52 of the first rail 22, so that the elastic member 58 returns from the non-initial state K2 to the initial state K1.
As shown in fig. 10 and 11, the operating member 80 can be used to drive the working member 76 from the first state S1 (shown in fig. 10) to a second state S2 (shown in fig. 11) such that the blocking feature 50 of the first rail 22 and the working member 76 are no longer blocked from each other, thereby allowing the second rail 24 to be displaced from the extended position E toward the opening direction D1.
Further, the user can apply an operating force F' to the operating portion 86a of the operating member 80 to displace the operating member 80 from a first operating position X1 (shown in fig. 10) to a second operating position X2 (shown in fig. 11), so that the driving portion 86b of the operating member 80 drives the operating member 76 to pivot from the first state S1 (shown in fig. 10) to the second state S2 (shown in fig. 11), and the blocking feature 50 of the first rail 22 and the operating member 76 are not blocked any more, so as to allow the second rail 24 to displace from the extended position E to the opening direction D1 and be able to be detached from the channel 38 of the first rail 22 (shown in fig. 11).
Fig. 12 shows a first rail 200 according to another embodiment of the invention. The first rail 200 differs from the first rail 22 of the above embodiment essentially in that: the elastic member 202 is integrated to the main body 33 of the sliding aid 46. Accordingly, the same technical effects as those of the above-described embodiments can be achieved.
From the above description, it can be seen that the enhancement effect and advantage of the present invention are:
a. since the working member 76 contacts the elastic member 58 to forcibly drive the sliding-assisting device 46 to move to a predetermined position in the opening direction D1 during the displacement of the second rail 24 relative to the first rail 22 in the opening direction D1, the sliding-assisting device 46 can be ensured to be close to the front portion 22a of the first rail 22. This has the advantage, for example, that it can be ensured that a predetermined rail section of the second rail 24 can be well supported by (the rolling elements 48 of) the sliding aid 46 while providing an effective sliding aid effect of the second rail 24.
b. The first rail 22 has the predetermined space 52, the elastic member 58 is disposed in the sliding aid 46, and the elastic member 58 can release the elastic force F through the predetermined space 52 of the first rail 22, so that the elastic member 58 can be shifted (e.g., laterally moved) from the initial state K1 to the non-initial state K2, and the working member 76 can no longer contact the elastic member 58.
While the invention has been described with reference to the present specific embodiments, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the above embodiments are for illustration only, and that various equivalent changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit of the invention, and therefore, all changes and modifications to the above embodiments are intended to be within the scope of the claims of the present application as long as they come within the true spirit of the invention.
