For example, the valid time of the PHR is set to three minutes, and if the time difference between the current time and the last time reported exceeds three minutes, the stored PHR is determined to be an invalid value. In one example, the uplink channel resource indicated by the uplink DCI is larger than the channel resource required for transmitting the MAC CE information, so as to ensure that the terminal can subsequently have sufficient transmission resource to transmit the MAC CE information.

In the current related technology, when the PHR is triggered and there is uplink scheduling, the PHR value of the terminal is carried in uplink service data and sent to the base station, and in a scenario where the uplink traffic of the terminal is small, there is a problem that the PHR is not reported in time. In this embodiment, the base station performs a self-check on the validity of the PHR value uploaded by the current terminal, that is, identifies whether the current PHR value is valid, and if the terminal PHR value is invalid and the performance-related function of the current base station requires that the PHR value estimates a channel, the base station instructs the terminal to upload the PHR value, thereby avoiding a scenario in which the base station does not have an effective PHR value available for a long time, improving the timeliness of PHR reporting, improving the uplink channel evaluation real-time performance of the base station, and providing a support for the function related to the wireless performance of the base station.
Another embodiment of the present invention relates to a reporting method of a PHR, which is applied to a terminal, and the specific flow is shown in fig. 2.

That is, when the terminal resolves that the downlink control information DCI is the uplink DCI including the PHR request field, it is determined that the uplink DCI instructs the terminal to report the PHR, and the PHR is reported to the base station according to the uplink channel resource indicated by the uplink DCI. The uplink channel resource indicated by the uplink DCI is greater than the channel resource required for transmitting the MAC CE information, so as to ensure that the terminal has sufficient transmission resources to transmit the MAC CE information.
In one example, after receiving the uplink DCI, the terminal calculates a PHR value, carries the PHR value in the MAC CE, and reports the MAC CE with the PHR value to the base station.

If the performance related function of the base station currently requires the PHR value for channel estimation and the PHR value of the current terminal is invalid, proceed to the next step 304. If the performance related function of the base station does not need the PHR value for channel estimation at present, the procedure of this embodiment is directly ended.
In one example, the steps 302 and 303 are in a parallel relationship, so the operation order of the two steps can be exchanged without any influence on the result of the subsequent operation.
Step 304: and the base station sends uplink DCI carrying the PHRrequest field to the terminal once.
Wherein, PHRrequest is an extension field in the uplink DCI. The PHRrequest field is used for indicating the terminal to report the PHR.
Step 305: the terminal analyzes the received uplink DCI, recognizes that the base station needs the terminal to report the PHR value through the PHRrequest field in the uplink DCI, calculates the PHR value, carries the PHR value in the MAC CE, and then enters step 306.
Step 306: and the terminal reports the MAC CE with the PHR value to the base station according to the uplink scheduling information indicated in the uplink DCI.
Step 307: and the base station receives and analyzes the PHR value in the DCI, and if the PHR value is analyzed to be an effective value, the PHR value of the terminal is updated. Wherein, the larger the PHR value is, i.e. the more the current power headroom is, the more the channel lifting space is.
The reporting method of the PHR provided in this embodiment may, when a reporting condition of a preset power headroom report PHR is satisfied, issue downlink DCI information for instructing reporting of the PHR to the terminal, and receive the PHR reported by the terminal through an uplink channel resource allocated to the terminal, thereby implementing an aperiodic reporting instruction of the PHR.
