Abstract

The invention provides a hinge and office machine using the hinge, the hinge comprises an assembly member, a support member, an operating cam portion, a sliding member and a compression coil spring. The assembly member is provided on the device body side and has a long box portion in the front-rear direction; the support is assembled on the assembly part through a hinge shaft and can rotate, and the manuscript pressing plate is assembled; an actuating cam portion provided on the support member toward the assembly member; a slider which is in contact with the operating cam portion and is assembled in the case portion of the assembly member so as to be slidable, and which is provided with a pressure cam portion on a side biased against the document positioning table; more than three compression coil springs are elastically arranged between the sliding part and the inner bottom of the assembly part.

Hinge and office machine using same
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a hinge which is particularly suitable for office machines such as a compact photocopier, and connects an original cover of the office machines to an apparatus body in an openable and closable manner.
Background
Office machines for use in offices are known, for example: in many of such apparatuses as photocopiers, complex machines, facsimile machines, scanners, and printers, a document platen having an exposure glass is provided on an apparatus main body, and a document platen openable and closable with respect to the document platen is provided so as to cover the document platen. The original pressing plate enables an original placed on the original placing table to be closely attached to the original placing table, and prevents external light from affecting a developing system in the device body through exposure glass. Various types of hinges have been known in the art to enable the original cover to be assembled to the apparatus body and to be opened and closed with respect to the apparatus body, but the hinge of the present invention is a relatively simple structure, and is a small hinge using a plurality of compression coil springs orthogonal to a hinge axis, and there are few previous examples in the known art.
A hinge having such a function is known, for example, from patent document 1, which is a known technical document described below. In the hinge described in patent document 1 described below, the assembly is assembled to the device body side; the supporting piece for supporting the manuscript pressing plate is assembled on the assembly piece through a hinge shaft; the box part is arranged on the assembly part and is in a long plane rectangular shape in the direction orthogonal to the hinge shaft; the sliding part is arranged in the box part, can slide and is also in a plane rectangular shape; two compression coil springs are elastically arranged between the sliding piece and the bottom of the box part; the pressure receiving cam portion is provided on the upper surface of the slider and biased toward the device body side, and is pressed against the operating cam portion provided on the support.
According to the hinge disclosed in japanese patent laid-open No. 2016-148815, the diameter of the compression coil spring is reduced, and in addition to the miniaturization of the hinge, there is an advantage in that the force applied to the hinge shaft is equally distributed in the axial direction as compared with a case where the compression coil spring is disposed in the lateral direction. However, in the hinge described in patent document 1, when the support is opened and closed, the operating cam portion applies pressure to the pressure receiving cam portion, and the pressure applied to the slider is biased against the compression coil spring disposed on the document placing table side, which affects the sliding operation of the slider and prevents the slider from smoothly operating.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a hinge, which uses a plurality of vertical compression coil springs, even if a pressure receiving cam part arranged on a sliding member is arranged on the side of a manuscript setting table in a biased mode, the sliding action of the sliding member is not influenced.
In order to solve the above problems, the hinge of the present invention comprises an assembly member, a support member, an operating cam portion, a slider, and a compression coil spring, wherein the assembly member is assembled in a front-rear direction of a device body side and has a long box portion; the support is assembled on the assembly part through a hinge shaft and can rotate, and the manuscript pressing plate is assembled; an operating cam part arranged on the side of the supporting piece facing the assembly piece; a sliding member which is in contact with the operating cam portion and is assembled in the assembly member so as to be slidable, and a pressure receiving cam portion is provided on a side biased against the document placing table; more than three compression coil springs are elastically arranged between the sliding part and the inner bottom of the assembly part.
In the hinge of the present invention, the upper portion of the box portion is provided with one side of the hinge shaft, is adjacent to the connecting portion of the supporting member, and is provided with a stopper portion for limiting the opening angle of the supporting member.
In the hinge of the present invention, an oil stain prevention and hand grip prevention piece for preventing the original document and the hand grip from being stained is provided on the front side of the upper end portion of the slider.
In the hinge of the present invention, an assembly screw hole for assembling the box portion to the device body is provided on the lower end portion side of the rear portion of the box portion.
In the office machine of the present invention, the hinge is provided between the apparatus main body and the original cover.
The present invention is configured as described above, and therefore, even when a plurality of vertical compression coil springs are used and the pressure receiving cam portion provided on the slider is disposed so as to be biased toward the document placing table, the sliding operation of the slider is not affected.

Detailed Description
With respect to a photocopier as one example of the hinge of the present invention and an office machine using the hinge, embodiments thereof will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in fig. 1, a photocopier, which is one example of an office machine, is denoted by reference numeral 1. Referring to the drawings, the photocopier 1 includes a main body 2 and a platen 3, and the platen 3 is attached to the main body 2 by a hinge 10 so as to be openable and closable. The hinge 10 of the present invention is used for connecting an original manuscript pressing plate 3 to a device body 2 of a photocopier 1 and enabling the original manuscript pressing plate 3 to be opened and closed, and comprises an assembly piece 5 and a supporting piece 7, wherein the assembly piece 5 is inserted into and fixed at an assembly hole 2b on the side of the device body 2; the support 7 is assembled to the assembly 5 by a hinge shaft 6 so as to be rotatable, and supports the original cover plate 3. The hinge 10 of the photocopier 1 is generally provided with a pair of left and right sides, and since the structure is the same, only one of them will be described. In the embodiment of the present invention, although the structure of the photocopier 1 having the hinge 10 is described, the structure having the hinge 10 between the main body of the apparatus and the platen and the cover is applicable to office machines such as a multifunction peripheral, a facsimile machine, a scanner, and a printer, in addition to the photocopier 1.
As shown in detail in fig. 2, the hinge 10 of the present invention includes an assembly 5, a support 7, an operating cam portion 7e, a slider 8, and compression coil springs 11, 12, and 13. The assembly 5 is assembled in the front-rear direction of the apparatus body 2 side of the photocopier 1, and has an elongated box portion 5 a; a support 7 which is assembled to the assembly 5 by a hinge shaft 6 so as to be rotatable and supports the original cover plate 3; an operating cam portion 7e provided on a side of the support 7 facing the assembly 5; a slide member 8 which is slidably provided in the assembly 5 in contact with the operating cam portion 7e and has a pressure receiving cam portion 8c on one side biased against the original placement table 2 a; three compression coil springs 11, 12, 13 are elastically provided between the slider 8 and the inner bottom portion 5g of the assembly 5.
The assembly 5 of the hinge 10 of the present invention is a resin molded product such as POM having a high mechanical strength in the present embodiment, and includes a box portion 5a, a pair of assembly piece portions 5b, a stopper portion 5d, an internal thread portion 5e, and three guide protrusions 5h, 5 h. The box part 5a is in a planar rectangular shape with an open upper side; a pair of assembling pieces 5b, 5b are protruded from the upper end portions of both sides of the box portion 5a to the upper side at a certain interval; a stopper 5d provided between the assembly pieces 5b and inclined toward the rear lower side of the rear plate portion 5c of the box portion 5 a; the female screw portion 5e is provided in the front-rear direction at the lower end portion on the rear plate portion 5c side; the three guide protrusions 5h, 5h are provided upward at a predetermined interval between the inner bottom portions 5 g.
In the assembly 5, as shown in fig. 1, the box portion 5a is inserted into the assembly hole 2b, and the assembly hole 2b is disposed downward at the rear end portion of the apparatus main body 2 of the photocopier 1, so that the box portion 5a can be locked to the assembly hole 2b by locking the assembly screw into the female screw portion 5e from the apparatus main body 2 side. In addition, only the box portion 5a may be inserted into the assembly hole 2b and fixed.
Next, in the present embodiment, the support 7 of the present invention is a resin molded article such as POM having high mechanical strength, including the connecting portion 7a, the assembly piece 7b, the support portion 7d, and the operating cam portion 7e, as well as the assembly 5. The connecting portion 7a is inserted between the assembling piece portions 5b, 5b of the box portion 5 a; the assembling piece 7b is provided with an assembling hole 7c which is arranged to protrude upwards from the rear end part of the connecting part 7 a; a support part 7d provided forward from the connection part 7 a; the braking cam portion 7e protrudes downward from the support portion 7 d. The portions of the connecting portion 7a are assembled to the assembly piece portions 5b, 5b of the assembly 5 by the hinge shaft 6 and are rotatable.
Next, the box part 5a houses a hollow slider 8 having a planar rectangular shape and capable of sliding up and down, the slider 8 is provided with three guide projections 8b, 8b facing the guide projections 5h, 5h on the assembly 5 side at equal intervals from the inner top 8a to the lower side, and a pressure receiving cam part 8c projecting upward is provided at a position offset from the center to the front document placing table 2a side on the outer top, and a prevention piece 8d for preventing oil stain and hand pinching is provided at a position forward of the pressure receiving cam part 8 c.
Three compression coil springs 11, 12, 13 are resiliently provided between the case portion 5a and the slider 8 on the lower side of the former and on the upper side of the latter, and are respectively accommodated in the guide projections 5h, 5h on the case portion 5a side and the guide projections 8b, 8b on the slider 8 side.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, in a state where the original cover 3 is closed, the original cover 3 is covered on the upper surface of the original placement table 2a, and the stopper cam portion 7e of the support 7 is pressed against the pressure receiving cam portion 8c of the slider 8, so that the compression coil springs 11, 12, 13 are in a state of maximum compression; however, the weight of the original cover 3 itself generates a rotational torque around the hinge shaft 6, and the original cover 3 is heavy, so that the original cover 3 can be held in a closed state against the total elastic force of the compression coil springs 11, 12, and 13.
At this time, when the operator of the photocopier intends to place the original on the original placement table 2a, first, in order to open the original platen 3, the operator places a finger on one end of the front side and lifts it upward, and the total elastic force of the compression coil springs 11, 12, and 13 starts to increase, and then the pressure cam portion 8c of the slider 8 lifts the operating cam portion 7e of the support portion 7 upward, so that the operator can rotate the support 7 counterclockwise about the hinge shaft 6 as a fulcrum without feeling the original weight of the original platen 3.
As shown in the torque curve shown in fig. 6, in order to allow the original cover 3 to automatically maintain an opening angle of about 10 ° with respect to the original placement table 2a, the combined elastic force of the compression coil springs 11, 12, and 13 and the rotational torque generated by the original cover 3 around the hinge shaft 6 are set appropriately so as to balance the both. Then, as also shown in fig. 6, the rotational torque of the hinge 10 is changed to be larger than the rotational torque of the original cover plate 3, so that even if the operator releases his or her hand, the original cover plate 3 does not naturally fall down and remains in place, and the operator can set the original on the original placement table 2a with both hands free.
Here, the combined elastic force of the original cover 3 and the compression coil springs 11, 12, and 13 may be set so that the original cover 3 automatically supports the original cover 3 at a predetermined opening angle (e.g., 35 ° or more). In this way, when the opening angle of the original cover plate 3 is 35 ° or more, the lower end surface of the support 7 on the side of the connection portion 7a is automatically lifted until the lower end surface abuts on the stopper portion 5d provided on the side of the assembly 5, and the original cover plate 3 is also stopped at this opening angle.
Next, when the original cover 3 is pressed down in the closing direction after the original is placed on the original placement table 2a, the support 7 is rotated clockwise about the hinge shaft 6 as a fulcrum, and when the stopper cam portion 7e is pressed down, the elastic force of the compression coil springs 11, 12, and 13 of the pressure cam portion 8c of the slider 8 needs to be resisted, so that the closing operation is not too rapid, and the original can be pressed against the original placement table 2 a.
In contrast to the hinge in which the compression coil springs are arranged in the transverse direction, the hinge 10 of the present invention, as described in detail above, can suppress the torque variation of the hinge shaft 6 even in long-term use because the pressure applied to the hinge shaft 6 is evenly distributed in the axial direction by the slider 8 and the pressure in the torsional direction is not applied to the hinge shaft.
In the present invention, when the opening and closing operation of the original cover 3 is performed, the slider 8 is provided in the cassette part 5a of the assembly 5 so as to be slidable in the vertical direction, and the installation position of the pressure receiving cam part 8c is biased toward the original cover 2a of the slider 8, and the pressure receiving cam part 8c is pressed by the operating cam part 7e provided on the support 7 side, so that the pressing force of the operating cam part 7e is biased toward the slider 8; however, according to the hinge of the present invention, since the lower side of the contact position between the operating cam portion 7e and the pressure receiving cam portion 8c is the compression coil spring 12 side located at the center, the pressing force can be distributed to the slider 8 more evenly, and the sliding operation of the slider 8 is smoother than in the conventional art in which the sliding operation is biased.
In addition, the hinge 10 of the present invention may use three or more compression coil springs.
As described above, the present invention can provide a hinge suitable for opening and closing an original cover plate which is a small-sized machine used in a photocopier; the present invention also provides a small-sized office machine having a simple structure and excellent operability, which uses the hinge as described above.

Claims (5)

1. A hinge, comprising:
an assembly member which is assembled on the device body side and has a long box part in the front-back direction;
a support member which is assembled to the assembly member through a hinge shaft so as to be rotatable, and which assembles the original cover plate;
an operating cam portion provided on the support member toward the assembly side;
a slider which is assembled in the assembly member in contact with the operating cam portion so as to be slidable, and which has a pressure receiving cam portion provided on one side biased against the document placing table; and
and compression coil springs provided in a number of three or more than three so as to be sprung between the slider and the inner bottom of the assembly.
2. The hinge according to claim 1, wherein the upper portion of the box portion is provided with one side of the hinge shaft, abuts the coupling portion of the supporting member, and is provided with a stopper portion that limits an opening angle of the supporting member.
3. The hinge according to any one of claims 1 and 2, wherein an oil-proof and hand-grip-proof sheet for preventing contamination of the original document and the hand grip is provided on the front side of the upper end portion of the slider.
4. The hinge according to claim 1, wherein a lower end side of a rear portion of the box portion is provided with an assembling screw hole for assembling the box portion to the device body.
5. An office machine, wherein the hinge according to any one of claims 1 to 4 is provided between the apparatus body and the original cover.
