Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a technology for reporting Service information of a User Equipment (UE) in a Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) system, and in particular, to a method and a system for sending a reception status report of a UE.
Background
In order to effectively utilize mobile network resources, the third Generation Partnership Project (3 GPP), which is a technology for transmitting data from a data source to a plurality of target mobile terminals, proposes an MBMS service, which enables sharing of network (including core network and access network) resources and improves utilization of network resources, particularly air interface resources.
In a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, a user equipment (or called terminal) is notified that a certain MBMS service is about to change, where the changes may be session start, service bearer update, or session stop, and a Downlink Control Information (DCI) and an MBMS Radio Network Temporary Identifier (M-RNTI) may be first sent on a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH). The UE further reads a specific MCCH message according to the related information in the DCI, which is called an MCCH notification (notification) mechanism. Specific service configuration parameters, such as a service ID, Radio Link Control (RLC) of the service, Media Access Control (MAC), physical layer configuration parameters, etc., are to be transmitted on the MCCH channel.
In the LTE system, there are two bearer modes for MBMS: a broadcast mode and an enhanced broadcast mode. Without the multicast mode, the network side cannot know which MBMS services the UE receives and/or is ready to receive. The enhanced broadcast is between broadcast and multicast, and the advantages of simple flow in the broadcast and resource optimization in the multicast are absorbed. When the MBMS enhanced broadcast bearer is used, the registration/deregistration from the UE to the BM-SC can be realized only through the joining/leaving process on the application layer without signaling interaction and information storage on the bearer network layer. Enhanced broadcasting is an optimization and extension to broadcasting, such as in an access network, which does not send data to those cells that do not receive users. For the MBMS service in enhanced mode, the state and Number of UEs receiving the MBMS service need to be considered when configuring a System Frame Number (SFN) and allocating resources, so that UE information for receiving/or preparing to receive the MBMS service needs to be fed back, which is called as uplink feedback of MBMS. In order to activate/deactivate the MBSFN transmission mode in the 3GPP Rel10MBMS, the network side needs to obtain the receiving state information of the UE, for example, the UE number information of a given MBMS service is being received, so a mechanism is needed to trigger the UE to report the information of its receiving state.
In order to enable the network side to obtain the number of users having the MBMS service requirement in each cell, the MBMS system introduces a counting process.
The Counting process refers to a process of Counting the number of users receiving and interested in receiving a certain MBMS service in a cell by a network side when a Session of the MBMS service is started or during the Session (also called Counting) process, so as to determine whether to use an MBSFN transmission mode. When the network side prepares to initiate the counting/recounting process, the identification and access probability of the MBMS service are added into the access information (access info) of the MCCH. The reason for using the access probability is that all users are not required to establish a connection for feedback, as long as the feedback quantity may reach a threshold, otherwise, uplink congestion may be caused when there are many Idle (Idle) state users.
Disclosure of Invention
During the research and practice of the prior art, the inventor finds that the prior art has the following problems: the 3GPP Rel10MBMS needs to activate or deactivate the MBSFN transmission mode, which is based on the UE receiving status report, but the prior art specification does not have a method for implementing the UE sending the receiving status report, i.e. the UE does not know when to send the receiving status information and which feedback information to send.
In order to realize the statistics of the UE receiving state, a method for implementing uplink feedback by the UE needs to be designed.
In view of this, the main objective of the present invention is to provide a method for UE to report a receiving status of a multimedia broadcast multicast service, where the UE reports the receiving status to a network side according to the method, so as to meet a requirement that the network side activates or deactivates an MBSFN transmission mode of an MBMS service.

The deactivation of MBSFN transmission generally requires notification of the UE in advance, and generally cannot affect the existing service session process.
After the feedback of the RRC Idle state UE is finished, the UE entering the Connected state can be converted back to the Idle state through RRC signaling, other high-level signaling or special signaling;

a carrying unit 60, configured to carry a feedback cycle, or a trigger event, or a feedback request indication on an RRC message or an MAC message; wherein the RRC information may be an MCCH message or a system message, and the MAC message may be MAC control particle C E;
a transmitting unit 61, configured to transmit an RRC message or an MAC message;
a triggering unit 62, configured to trigger the UE to send a reception status report;
a receiving unit 63, configured to receive an RRC message or an MAC message;
a feedback unit 64, configured to perform uplink feedback on the UE according to the feedback cycle, or a trigger event, or a feedback request indication.
As shown in fig. 6, the system for implementing mbms user reception status report of the present invention further includes: a configuration unit 65, configured to configure a trigger condition for performing uplink feedback.
The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and is not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.
