Abstract
Disclosed is a fingerprint recognition device, comprising: a housing defining a cavity, at least in part a metal housing; a fingerprint sensor located on the housing and having an exposed sensing surface; the light guide element is positioned on the shell and surrounds the fingerprint sensor; a circuit board positioned in the cavity and having a first surface and a second surface, wherein the fingerprint sensor is disposed on the first surface of the circuit board; the main control chip is positioned on the second surface of the circuit board; and a light emitting device located on the first surface and the second surface of the circuit board; wherein, the circuit board and the respective one surface of the shell are opposite to each other and define the reflective surface of the irradiation light emitted by the light emitting device, the shell is at least partially transparent, and the irradiation light is transmitted to the outside of the shell through the light guiding element after being directly irradiated or reflected. The fingerprint identification device plays a role in illumination, so that the problems that fingerprint pressing is inclined and identification information is difficult to read when a user uses the fingerprint identification device in a dark environment are solved.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of fingerprint identification technologies, and in particular, to a fingerprint identification device and an electronic device.
Background
Two fingerprints will often have the same overall characteristics, but their minutiae characteristics are not exactly the same. The fingerprint lines are not continuous, smooth and straight, but are often interrupted, branched or turned. These break points, bifurcation points and turning points are referred to as "feature points" which provide identification information of fingerprint uniqueness.
For the reasons, the fingerprint identification technology is widely applied to various fields such as computer terminals, security access control, attendance checking, examination identity identification, safe, USB flash disk data encryption and the like. The fingerprints of each person are different in patterns, break points and cross points, are unique and unchanged for life, and can be compared with pre-stored fingerprint data to verify the true identity of the person.
The existing electronic device using the fingerprint identification device has no obvious indication information, and when the electronic device is used in a dark environment, the phenomenon of fingerprint pressing deflection easily occurs, so that the fingerprint of a user is difficult to be identified quickly and accurately; in addition, the existing electronic device using the fingerprint recognition device generally displays identification information thereon, and it is difficult for a user to read the information displayed on the electronic device in a dark environment.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a fingerprint recognition device and an electronic device, which solve the problems of fingerprint pressing deflection and difficulty in reading recognition of recognition information when the fingerprint recognition device is used in a dark environment.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a fingerprint recognition device comprising:
a housing defining a cavity, at least in part a metal housing;
a fingerprint sensor located on the housing and having an exposed sensing surface;
a light guide element located on the housing and surrounding the fingerprint sensor, a circuit board located in the cavity and having a first surface and a second surface, wherein the fingerprint sensor is disposed on the first surface of the circuit board;
the main control chip is positioned on the second surface of the circuit board; and
a light emitting device located on the first surface and the second surface of the circuit board;
wherein the circuit board and the housing are opposite to each other on one surface thereof and define a reflective surface of the illumination light emitted from the light emitting device, and the illumination light is transmitted to the outside of the housing via the light guide element after being directly irradiated or reflected.
Preferably, each of the circuit board and the housing has one surface coated with a white paint or plated with a light reflecting layer.
Preferably, the circuit board is provided with a light guide groove, and the light guide groove is positioned at two sides of the fingerprint sensor.
Preferably, the light guiding element is square ring-shaped, circular ring-shaped or polygonal ring-shaped, the fingerprint sensor is square, circular or polygonal, and the fingerprint sensor is arranged in or at one side of the light guiding element.
Preferably, the light guide element is provided with an opening corresponding to the light emitting device.
Preferably, the housing comprises a first housing and a second housing, and the first housing and the second housing are fixedly connected through bolts.
Preferably, the first housing is a metal housing, and the metal housing is integrally formed.
Preferably, the circuit board is electrically connected with a power module, and the power module is electrically connected with the fingerprint sensor, the main control chip, the light emitting device, the controller and the metal shell.
Preferably, the light emitting device is an LED lamp.
Preferably, a connector is arranged on the circuit board, a plurality of data output terminals are arranged on the connector, and data input terminals corresponding to the data output terminals one by one are arranged on the controller.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided an electronic device including the fingerprint identification device described above.
The fingerprint identification device provided by the invention is characterized in that a cavity is defined by the shell, at least part of the shell is a metal shell, and a light guide element and a circuit board are arranged in the cavity, wherein one surface of each circuit board and one surface of the shell are opposite to each other and define the reflecting surface of illumination light emitted by the light emitting device, and the illumination light is transmitted to the outside of the shell through the light guide element after being directly or reflected. When the fingerprint identification device is used in a dark environment, a user touches the metal shell to enable the metal shell to send a signal to the controller, and the controller controls the illuminating light sent by the light-emitting device to penetrate through the shell through the main control chip, so that the fingerprint identification device and the electronic device are illuminated, and the problems that when the fingerprint identification device is used in the dark environment, the fingerprint is pressed and the identification information is difficult to read are solved.

Detailed Description
Various embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The same reference numbers will be used throughout the drawings to refer to the same or like parts. For clarity, the various features of the drawings are not drawn to scale.
The following describes in further detail the embodiments of the present invention with reference to the drawings and examples.
Referring to fig. 1a to 4, the fingerprint identification apparatus provided by the present invention includes a housing 1, a fingerprint sensor 2, a light guiding element 3, a circuit board 4, a main control chip 5 (not shown in the drawings), and a light emitting device 6.
Wherein the shell 1 is used for defining a cavity, and at least part of the shell is a metal shell; a fingerprint sensor 2 is located on the housing 1 and has an exposed sensing surface; a light guiding element 3 is located on the housing 1 and surrounds the fingerprint sensor 2; a circuit board 4 located in the cavity having a first surface 41 and a second surface 42, wherein the fingerprint sensor 2 is disposed on the first surface 41 of the circuit board 4; the main control chip 5 is positioned on the second surface 42 of the circuit board 4; and the light emitting means 6 are located on the first surface 41 and the second surface 42 of said circuit board 4. Wherein the respective one surfaces of the circuit board 4 and the housing 1 are opposed to each other and define a reflective surface of the irradiation light emitted from the light emitting device 6, and the irradiation light is transmitted to the outside of the housing 1 via the light guiding element 3 after being directly irradiated or reflected.
In this embodiment, the housing 1 includes a first housing 1a and a second housing 1b, where the first housing 1a and the second housing 1b are fixedly connected by a bolt, and the first housing 1a is a metal housing, and the metal housing is integrally formed. The first housing 1a and the light guide element 3 may be integrally formed or may be non-integrally formed.
In this embodiment, the circuit board 4 is provided with a light guide groove 43, and the light guide groove 43 is located at two sides of the fingerprint sensor 2 and has an L shape.
The circuit board 4 is electrically connected with a controller. When the fingerprint identification device is used in a dark environment, a user touches the metal shell, so long as a part of the finger touches the metal shell, the metal shell sends a signal to the controller, the controller sends a control signal to the main control chip 5, the main control chip 5 controls the irradiation light sent by the light emitting device 6 to penetrate through the shell 1, so that the fingerprint identification device and the electronic device are illuminated, and the problems that the fingerprint pressing deflection and the identification information are difficult to read when the user uses the fingerprint identification device in the dark environment are solved.
In the present embodiment, each of the circuit board 4 and the housing 1 is coated with a white paint on one surface or with a light reflecting layer as a light reflecting surface of the irradiation light emitted from the light emitting device 6; the irradiation light is transmitted to the outside of the housing through the light guide member 3 after being directly irradiated or reflected, and brightness and energy efficiency can be improved. The white paint in the present embodiment may be white ink, but is not limited thereto.
Specifically, the first surface 41 of the circuit board 4 and the surface of the first housing 1a serve as reflecting surfaces of the irradiation light emitted from the light emitting device 6 located on the first surface 41 of the circuit board 4. The second surface 42 of the circuit board 4 and the surface of the second housing 1b serve as reflecting surfaces of the irradiation light emitted from the light emitting device 6 located on the second surface 42 of the circuit board 4.
In this embodiment, the light guiding element 3 is square ring-shaped, the fingerprint sensor 2 is square, and the fingerprint sensor 2 is disposed inside or at one side of the light guiding element 3. When the fingerprint is pressed, contact between the finger and the light guide element 3 can be ensured, thereby realizing the operation of the fingerprint sensor 2. Because the light guide element 3 is square ring shape, can effectively accommodate square fingerprint sensor 2 to square fingerprint sensor 2 can be better install on different electronic devices, with pressing the better adaptation of finger, can enrich fingerprint identification device's application scenario. The light guide element 3 not only can play a role of a sensor, but also can play a role of ESD electrostatic protection by grounding.
In a preferred embodiment, the shape of the light guide element and the shape of the fingerprint sensor are not limited thereto, and for example, the light guide element is shown as a circular ring shape and the fingerprint sensor is circular. Or the light guide element is displayed in a polygonal ring shape, and the fingerprint sensor is a polygon displayed by the light guide element. The fingerprint sensor can be in any regular or irregular shape, and the light guide element is in any regular or irregular shape and can surround the fingerprint sensor in a ring shape; the fingerprint sensor is arranged in or on one side of the light guide element.
In a preferred embodiment, the shape of the fingerprint sensor is the same as or different from the shape displayed by the metal ring.
The light guide element 3 is provided with an opening corresponding to the light emitting device 6 to accommodate the light emitting device 6 on the first surface 41 of the circuit board 4.
The fingerprint sensor 2 is communicated with the circuit board 4 through soldering tin or conductive adhesive; the light emitting device 6 is electrically connected with the circuit board 4 through soldering tin or conductive adhesive.
The circuit board 4 is electrically connected with a power supply module, and the power supply module is electrically connected with the fingerprint sensor 2, the main control chip 5, the light emitting device 6, the controller and the metal shell.
The light emitting device 6 of the present invention can play a role in displaying different recognition results in addition to the illumination. When a user presses a finger on the fingerprint sensor 2, the fingerprint sensor 2 transmits acquired fingerprint information to the main control chip 5, the main control chip 5 outputs judging result information to the controller by comparing the acquired fingerprint information with preset fingerprint information on the main control chip, the controller can also set the judging result information, when the output judging result information is consistent, the controller controls the light emitting device 6 to emit light of a first color through the main control chip 5, when the judging result information is inconsistent, the controller controls the light emitting device 6 to emit light of a second color through the main control chip 5, and the light of the first color is inconsistent with the light of the second color. Specifically, the light-emitting device is an LED lamp, so that energy sources can be saved.
In this embodiment, the circuit board 4 is provided with a connector 7, the connector 7 is provided with a plurality of data output terminals, and the controller is provided with data input terminals corresponding to the data output terminals one by one, so as to realize the electrical connection between each element and the controller.
The invention also provides an electronic device which comprises the fingerprint identification device so as to solve the problems that the fingerprint is pressed and deflected in dark environment and identification information is difficult to read.
Embodiments in accordance with the present invention, as described above, are not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise embodiments disclosed. The embodiments were chosen and described in order to best explain the principles of the invention and the practical application, to thereby enable others skilled in the art to best utilize the invention and various modifications as are suited to the particular use contemplated. The invention is limited only by the claims and the full scope and equivalents thereof.
Claims (10)
1. A fingerprint recognition device, comprising:
the shell is used for limiting the cavity and is at least partially a metal shell, the shell comprises a first shell, and the first shell is a metal shell;
a fingerprint sensor located on the housing and having an exposed sensing surface;
a light guide element located between the first housing and the circuit board and surrounding the fingerprint sensor;
the circuit board is positioned in the cavity and provided with a first surface and a second surface, wherein the fingerprint sensor is arranged on the first surface of the circuit board, the circuit board is provided with a light guide groove, and the light guide grooves are positioned on two sides of the fingerprint sensor;
the main control chip is positioned on the second surface of the circuit board; and
a light emitting device located on the first surface and the second surface of the circuit board;
wherein the circuit board and the housing are opposite to each other on one surface thereof and define a reflective surface of the illumination light emitted from the light emitting device, and the illumination light is transmitted to the outside of the housing via the light guide element after being directly irradiated or reflected.
2. The fingerprint recognition device according to claim 1, wherein each of the circuit board and the housing has one surface coated with a white paint or with a light reflecting layer.
3. The fingerprint recognition device according to claim 1, wherein the light guide member is square ring-shaped, circular ring-shaped or polygonal ring-shaped, the fingerprint sensor is square, circular or polygonal, and the fingerprint sensor is provided inside or at one side of the light guide member.
4. A fingerprint recognition device according to claim 3, wherein the light guide member is provided with an opening corresponding to the light emitting device.
5. The fingerprint recognition device of claim 1, wherein the housing further comprises a second housing, the first housing and the second housing being fixedly connected by a bolt.
6. The fingerprint recognition device of claim 1, wherein the first housing is integrally formed.
7. The fingerprint recognition device according to claim 1, wherein a power module is electrically connected to the circuit board, and the power module is electrically connected to the fingerprint sensor, the main control chip, the light emitting device, the controller, and the metal housing.
8. The fingerprint recognition device of claim 1, wherein the light emitting device is an LED lamp.
9. The fingerprint recognition device according to claim 1, wherein a connector is arranged on the circuit board, a plurality of data output terminals are arranged on the connector, and data input terminals corresponding to the data output terminals one by one are arranged on the controller.
10. An electronic device comprising a fingerprint recognition device according to any one of claims 1-9.
