Abstract
The invention discloses a method and a system for realizing OTT service and PCRF, relating to the field of mobile communication. The method comprises the following steps: the method comprises the steps that a PCRF acquires OTT service information of a user from an OTT server, wherein the OTT service information comprises address information of the user and OTT service control information; the PCRF acquires user information from the PCEF, wherein the user information comprises address information of a user and number information of the user; the PCRF associates OTT service information with user information by using address information of the user; the PCRF acquires the number information of the user corresponding to the address information of the user by using the association information; and the PCRF performs OTT service control on the user according to the number information of the user and the OTT service control information. Technical Field

The invention provides a method for realizing OTT service, which aims to solve the problem that the existing OTT service realization process is lack of flexibility.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a network architecture of OTT service of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, the network System for implementing the OTT service includes an OTT server, a capability openness server, a PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function), a PCEF (Policy and Charging Enforcement Function), an OCS (Online Charging System), and other devices.
The OTT server may provide OTT services for the user, process a request of the user for using OTT services, and the like.
The capability openness server is responsible for managing OTT service subscription information, that is, OTT service subscription purchases network capabilities related to an operator, and adds OTT service control information in an external open interface (API), where the OTT service control information may be, for example, OTT service charging information, OTT service traffic exemption information, OTT traffic query information, and the like, but is not limited to the examples given.
The PCRF provides a policy and charging rule function, adds a function of associating OTT service information of a user from an OTT server with user information from the PCEF, and reconstructs session information between the PCRF and the OCS, so that number information of the user and OTT service control information can be conveniently transmitted. An attribute value pair (set as Volume-Add AVP) for bearing OTT service control information is additionally arranged in an Rx interface between the capability open server and the PCRF. An example of the attribute value pair carrying OTT service control information is shown in table 1.

As shown in fig. 2, the method for implementing OTT service includes:
in step S202, the PCRF obtains OTT service information of the user from the OTT server, where the OTT service information includes address information of the user and OTT service control information.
The PCRF can acquire OTT service information of a user from the OTT server through the capability open server. Specifically, the OTT server sends OTT service information of the user to the capability openness server, and the capability openness server forwards the OTT service information from the OTT server to the PCRF when the OTT service signs up to purchase the network capability related to the operator.
The address information of the user may be, for example, an IP address of the user.
The OTT service control information may be, for example, information such as OTT service charging, OTT service traffic exemption, OTT traffic query, but is not limited to the examples. The OTT service control information of each user may be personalized and need not be predefined, which is one of its differences from the OTT service product instance.
In step S204, the PCRF obtains the subscriber information from the PCEF, where the subscriber information includes the address information of the subscriber and the number information of the subscriber. The number information of the subscriber is, for example, a mobile subscriber directory number (MDN) or an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI).
The PCRF may obtain, for example, user information from the PCEF through the Gx interface, where the user information may include information such as user online time in addition to address information of the user and number information of the user.
In step S206, the PCRF associates the OTT service information and the user information by using the address information of the user, and specifically, the PCRF can associate the OTT service information and the user information having the same address information.
In step S208, the PCRF obtains the number information of the user corresponding to the address information of the user by using the association information. The associated information at least includes address information of the user, number information of the user, and OTT service control information, and the number information of the user corresponding to the address information of the user can be obtained by searching the associated information. Therefore, the PCRF can acquire the user number under the condition that the OTT does not provide the user number.
In step S210, the PCRF performs OTT service control on the user according to the number information of the user and the OTT service control information. The control object can be determined according to the number information of the user, the control content can be determined according to the OTT service control information, and the OTT service control process can be realized according to the determined control object and the control content.
Wherein, different OTT service control can be realized according to different OTT service control information. For example, the user is charged according to the charging information of the OTT service, the flow exemption is executed on the user service according to the flow exemption information of the OTT service, and flow query and the like can be performed.
The OTT service is more flexible to realize, the OTT service can be realized under the condition that the OTT does not have the user number, and the OTT service product example does not need to be defined in advance, but the OTT provides the OTT service control information of the user to the PCRF to realize the OTT service.
The following describes the implementation process of OTT service by taking OTT service charging and OTT service traffic exemption as examples.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating another embodiment of the method for implementing OTT service according to the present invention.
As shown in fig. 3, the method for implementing OTT service includes:
in step S302, the user uses the OTT service, and the OTT server sends the address information of the user, the OTT service charging information, the OTT service traffic exemption information, the OTT service identification information, and other OTT service information to the capability openness server through the openness interface of the capability openness server according to the service subscription condition of the user.
In step S304, the capability openness server forwards OTT service information from the OTT server to the PCRF through the Rx interface when the OTT service signs up to purchase the network capability related to the operator.
In step S306, the PCRF associates the OTT service information acquired from the Rx interface with the subscriber information acquired from the Gx interface (i.e., the address information of the subscriber and the number information of the subscriber from the PCEF), and acquires the number information of the subscriber corresponding to the address information of the subscriber.
In step S308a, the PCRF sends a Sy interface message to the online charging system OCS, where the Sy interface message includes number information of the user and OTT service recharging information;
in step S308b, the OCS charges the user corresponding to the number information according to the OTT service charging information, and returns a Sy interface response message to the PCRF. The Sy interface response message may include information such as a successful recharge.
At step S310a, the PCRF sends a service control message to the PCEF, where the service control message includes identification information of the OTT service and OTT service traffic exemption information, where the identification information includes address information and port information of the user, address information and port information of the OTT service server, and transport layer protocol information.
In step S310b, the PCEF performs traffic identification and traffic exemption on the OTT service corresponding to the identification information according to the OTT service traffic exemption information, and returns a service response message to the PCRF. The present invention further provides a PCRF for implementing OTT service, and referring to fig. 5, the PCRF404 includes:
an OTT service information obtaining module 502, configured to obtain OTT service information of a user from an OTT server, where the OTT service information includes address information of the user and OTT service control information;
a user information obtaining module 504, configured to obtain user information from the PCEF, where the user information includes address information of a user and number information of the user;
an associating module 506, configured to associate the OTT service information and the user information with address information of a user;
a number information obtaining module 508, configured to obtain, by using the association information, number information of the user corresponding to the address information of the user;
an OTT service control module 510, configured to perform OTT service control on the user according to the number information of the user and the OTT service control information.
Where the OTT service control information is, for example, OTT service charging information, the OTT service control module 510 includes: the first OTT service control unit 5102 is configured to send a Sy interface message to the online charging system OCS, where the Sy interface message includes the number information of the user and OTT service charging information, so as to instruct the OCS to charge the user corresponding to the number information according to the OTT service charging information.
Correspondingly, the online charging system OCS408 is configured to respond to the Sy interface message sent by the PCRF, and recharge the user corresponding to the number information according to the OTT service recharge information.
Where the OTT service control information is, for example, OTT service traffic exemption information, the OTT service control module 510 includes: the second OTT service control unit 5104 is configured to send a service control message to a policy and charging enforcement function PCEF, where the service control message includes identification information of an OTT service and OTT service traffic exemption information, so as to instruct the PCEF to perform traffic identification and traffic exemption on the OTT service corresponding to the identification information according to the OTT service traffic exemption information, where the identification information includes address information and port information of the user, address information and port information of an OTT service server, and transport layer protocol information.
Correspondingly, the policy and charging enforcement function PCEF is configured to respond to the service control message sent by the PCRF, and perform traffic identification and traffic exemption on the OTT service corresponding to the identification information according to the OTT service traffic exemption information.
An OTT service information obtaining module 504, configured to receive, through an Rx interface, OTT service information from an OTT server forwarded by an ability openness server. And an attribute value pair for bearing OTT service control information is additionally arranged in the Rx interface.
The OTT service is more flexible to realize, the OTT service can be realized under the condition that the OTT does not have the user number, and the OTT service product example does not need to be defined in advance, but the OTT provides the OTT service control information of the user to the PCRF to realize the OTT service.
Some application scenarios of the OTT service implementation of the present invention are exemplified as follows.
According to the marketing strategy, a certain OTT service provider carries out targeted traffic real-time deduction on a specific user (for example, the specific user forwards advertising advertisements to a friend circle, pays attention to the public number of the user, orders paid videos of the user, completes one-time shopping on a website of the user and the like), and carries out recharging and traffic deduction on a VIP user in a state without a number. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that all or part of the steps for implementing the above embodiments may be implemented by hardware, or may be implemented by a program instructing relevant hardware, where the program may be stored in a computer-readable storage medium, and the above-mentioned storage medium may be a read-only memory, a magnetic disk or an optical disk, etc.

the PCRF performs OTT service control on the user according to the number information of the user and the OTT service control information;
the OTT service control information is OTT service recharging information; the PCRF performing OTT service control on the user according to the number information of the user and the OTT service control information comprises: and the PCRF sends a Sy interface message to an Online Charging System (OCS), wherein the Sy interface message comprises the number information of the user and OTT service recharging information so as to indicate the OCS to recharge the user corresponding to the number information according to the OTT service recharging information, and an attribute value pair for bearing OTT service control information is additionally arranged in the Sy interface between the PCRF and the OCS.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the OTT service control information is OTT service traffic exempt information;
the PCRF performing OTT service control on the user according to the number information of the user and the OTT service control information comprises:
the PCRF sends a service control message to a Policy and Charging Enforcement Function (PCEF), wherein the service control message comprises identification information of OTT service and OTT service flow deduction information so as to indicate the PCEF to perform flow identification and flow deduction on the OTT service corresponding to the identification information according to the OTT service flow deduction information, wherein the identification information of the OTT service comprises address information and port information of a user, address information and port information of an OTT service server and transport layer protocol information, and an attribute value pair used for bearing the OTT service control information is additionally arranged in a Gx interface between the PCRF and the PCEF.
3. The method of claim 1 wherein the PCRF obtaining OTT traffic information for the user from the OTT server comprises:

6. A PCRF (policy and charging rules function) for realizing OTT (over the top) service is characterized by comprising the following steps of:
an OTT service information obtaining module, configured to obtain OTT service information of a user from an OTT server, where the OTT service information includes address information of the user and OTT service control information;
the system comprises a user information acquisition module, a PCEF (policy and charging enforcement function) module and a charging module, wherein the user information acquisition module is used for acquiring user information from the PCEF, and the user information comprises address information of a user, number information of the user and user online time;
the association module is used for associating the OTT service information with the user information by utilizing the address information of the user;

the OTT service control module is used for carrying out OTT service control on the user according to the number information of the user and the OTT service control information;

and the capacity open server forwards OTT service information of the user from the OTT server under the condition that the OTT service signs up to purchase the network capacity related to the operator.
12. The system of claim 11, further comprising: any one of the following devices is provided,
the OTT server is used for sending OTT service information of the user to the capability open server when the user uses the OTT service;
