Description

Resource recovery method and device
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of data communication, in particular to a resource recovery method and a resource recovery device.
Background
L2TP (Layer 2Tunneling Protocol) is the most widely used VPDN (Virtual Private Dial-up Network) Tunneling Protocol at present. The L2TP establishes a Point-to-Point L2TP tunnel on a public network (e.g., the Internet), encapsulates PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) data frames, and transmits the PPP data frames through the L2TP tunnel, so that a remote user (e.g., an enterprise outside agency and a business trip personnel) can access the public network by using the PPP, and then can communicate with an enterprise internal network through the L2TP tunnel to access enterprise internal network resources.
The establishment of the L2TP tunnel is initiated by the LAC (L2TP Access Concentrator ), which is established between the LAC and the LNS (L2TP Network Server ). LAC is a device with PPP and L2TP protocol processing capabilities, typically a local ISP (Internet Service Provider) NAS (Network Access Server), which is mainly used to provide Access services for PPP type users. LNSs are devices with PPP and L2TP protocol processing capabilities, typically located at the edge of an enterprise intranet. The LAC acts as an endpoint for the L2TP tunnel, located between the LNS and the remote system, for passing between the LNS and the remote system.
After the client of the remote system dials in the LAC through PPPoE/ISDN, the LAC initiates a request for establishing an L2TP tunnel to the LNS, the LNS allocates an address to the client of the remote system, and the LNS maintains the state information between the LACs and the address information of the remote user.
When the LAC is restarted, the remote system will go through the access process again, but the LNS device cannot sense the restart action, so that the LNS will keep the tunnel state information between the LNS and the LAC and the address information of the remote user all the time, which causes resource waste.

The establishment of the L2TP tunnel is initiated by the LAC and established between the LAC and the LNS. After the LAC is restarted, the client of the remote system can sense that the remote system can go through the access process again, but the LNS device cannot sense the restart action, so that the tunnel state information between the LNS and the LAC and the address information of the remote user can be kept on the LNS all the time, and resources are wasted. In order to solve the above problem, embodiments of the present invention provide a resource recycling method and apparatus.
Referring to fig. 3, a resource recycling method provided in the embodiment of the present invention includes:
step S310: the method comprises the steps that a first network device responds to a resource recovery notification sending event, identification information of a second network device which has established network connection with the first network device and does not establish the network connection at present is searched, and the second network device stores network resources which are distributed when the first network device establishes the network connection and correspond to the first network device.
When the first network device establishes network connection with the second network device, the second network device allocates corresponding network resources to the first network device, and the second network device records the allocation situation of the network resources. For example, when the first network device is a LAC, the second network device is an LNS, and the first network device establishes an L2TP tunnel connection with the second network device, the second network device records L2TP tunnel information of an L2TP tunnel established with the first network device and remote user address information. The remote user address information is address information distributed by the LNS to a client of a remote system initiating a call request to the first network device.
In the working process of the first network device, when the first network device detects that the first network device is in an abnormal state or first establishes network connection with the second network device, in order to enable the second network device to quickly recover the network resources previously allocated to the first network device, the first network device searches identification information of the second network device which establishes network connection with the first network device and does not establish the network connection currently in response to a resource recovery notification sending event. It is to be understood that the identification information may be an IP address or other address information for performing network communication based on the identification information.
It should be noted that there are various trigger conditions for the resource recycling notification sending event, and the trigger conditions may be when the first network device is started, or when the network connection process in the first network device is started, or when the network connection is established for the first network device. The first network device may determine whether the first network device is started by detecting a status code of an identifier representing an operation status of the first network device. The first network device may determine whether the network connection process is started and completed by detecting whether the memory has a process name of the network connection. Wherein the triggering of the resource reclamation notification sending event requires at least one of the above conditions to be satisfied.
Step S320: and the first network equipment sends a resource recovery notice to second network equipment corresponding to the identification information so as to enable the second network equipment to recover the network resources.
The resource recovery notification sent by the first network device to the second network device may be a TCP message or a UDP message carrying the resource recovery notification. The second network device, upon receiving the resource reclamation notification, may reclaim the network resources associated with the first network device allocated when the previous network connection was established with the first network device, where the network resources include the L2TP tunnel and the remote user address.
According to the resource recovery method provided by the embodiment of the invention, by responding to the resource recovery notification sending event and sending the resource recovery notification to the second network equipment corresponding to the identification information, when the second network equipment receives the resource recovery notification, the network resources distributed when the second network equipment establishes network connection with the first network equipment before can be recovered immediately, the problems of network communication resource waste and untimely recovery are solved, and the resource utilization rate is improved.
