The following describes the forwarding processes of the forwarding devices before and after adjustment, taking the adjustment of the priority relationship between the BGP flow-spec table and the CTC table as an example. Specifically, the method comprises the following steps:

And step 3, assuming that the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding device X is lower than that of the CTC table, as shown in FIG. 5, the forwarding device X forwards the message which needs to be forwarded by the forwarding device X from the outgoing interface B according to the CTC table.

And 5, after the forwarding device X receives the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information, setting the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding device X to be higher than the priority of the CTC table.
Step 6, as shown in fig. 6, the forwarding device X forwards the packet that needs to be forwarded by the forwarding device X from the egress interface a according to the BGP flow-spec table.
It should be noted that the black arrows in fig. 5 and fig. 6 indicate the messages that need to be forwarded by the forwarding device.
In this embodiment, the forwarding device sets the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding device, or sets the priority relationship between the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding device and other forwarding tables, so that when the forwarding policy corresponding to the BGP pflow-spec table in the forwarding device conflicts with the forwarding policies corresponding to other forwarding tables, the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding device can be adjusted according to the requirement when the BGP flow-spec table is used for forwarding a packet, and the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding device is adjusted to be higher (or lower) than other forwarding tables according to the requirement, thereby avoiding the problem that the forwarding device cannot handle the packet correctly due to the conflict between the forwarding policy corresponding to the BGP flow-spec table and the forwarding policies corresponding to other forwarding tables.
Fig. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of a network device according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the network device according to this embodiment may be applied to the methods according to the embodiments of fig. 2 and fig. 4 to implement the functions of the network device. As shown in fig. 7, the network device of this embodiment may include: a generating module 701 and a sending module 702. The generation module 701 is configured to generate an advertisement message, where the advertisement message includes priority adjustment information of a border gateway protocol BGP flow rule flow-spec table; a sending module 702, configured to send the notification message generated by the generating module 701 to a forwarding device, where the notification message is used to instruct the forwarding device to adjust the priority of a BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding device when the BGP flow-spec table is used for packet forwarding according to the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information.

The receiving module 801 is configured to receive an advertisement message sent by a network device, where the advertisement message includes priority adjustment information of a BGP flow rule flow-spec table; an adjusting module 802, configured to adjust a priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding device when the BGP flow-spec table is used for packet forwarding according to the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information included in the notification message received by the receiving module 801.

As shown in fig. 9, the network device 900 includes: a processor 901 and a network interface 902. Optionally, network device 900 also includes memory 903.
The processor 901 includes, but is not limited to, one or more of a Central Processing Unit (CPU), a Network Processor (NP), an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), or a Programmable Logic Device (PLD). The PLD may be a Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD), a field-programmable gate array (FPGA), a General Array Logic (GAL), or any combination thereof.
The network Interface 902 may be a wired Interface, such as a Fiber Distributed Data Interface (FDDI), an Ethernet Interface. The network interface 902 may also be a wireless interface, such as a wireless local area network interface.
The memory 903 may be, but is not limited to, a content-addressable memory (CAM), such as a Ternary CAM (TCAM) or a random-access memory (RAM).
The memory 903 may also be integrated in the processor 901. If the memory 903 and the processor 901 are separate devices, the memory 903 and the processor 901 may be connected, for example, the memory 903 and the processor 901 may communicate via a bus. The network interface 902 and the processor 901 may communicate via a bus, and the network interface 902 may also be directly connected to the processor 901.

As shown in fig. 10, the forwarding device 1000 includes: a processor 1001 and a network interface 1002. Optionally, the forwarding device 1000 further includes a memory 1003.
Processor 1001 includes, but is not limited to, one or more of a CPU, NP, ASIC, or PLD. The aforementioned PLD may be a CPLD, an FPGA, a GAL, or any combination thereof.
The network interface 1002 may be a wired interface, such as an FDDI, Ethernet interface. The network interface 902 may also be a wireless interface, such as a wireless local area network interface.
Memory 1003 may be, including but not limited to, a CAM, such as a TCAM or RAM.
The memory 1003 may also be integrated in the processor 1001. If the memory 1003 and the processor 1001 are separate devices, the memory 1003 and the processor 1001 may be connected, for example, the memory 1003 and the processor 1001 may communicate via a bus. The network interface 1002 and the processor 1001 may communicate via a bus, and the network interface 1002 may also be directly connected to the processor 1001.
The processor 1001 is configured to perform:
receiving an announcement message sent by network equipment through a network interface 1002, wherein the announcement message contains priority adjustment information of a Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) flow rule flow-spec table;
and adjusting the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding equipment when the BGP flow-spec table is used for message forwarding according to the priority adjustment information of the BGP flow-spec table included in the notification message.
Optionally, the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information includes a priority of the BGP flow-spec table.
Accordingly, the processor 1001 is specifically configured to: and setting the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding equipment according to the priority of the BGP flow-spec table contained in the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information.
Optionally, the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information includes a priority relationship between the BGP flow-spec table and another forwarding table.
Accordingly, the processor 1001 is specifically configured to: and according to the priority relation between the BGP flow-spec table and other forwarding tables, setting the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding equipment to be higher than that of the other forwarding tables, or setting the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding equipment to be lower than that of the other forwarding tables.
The forwarding device of this embodiment may be configured to execute the technical solution on the forwarding device side in the method embodiment shown in fig. 3 or the method embodiment shown in fig. 4, and the implementation principle and the technical effect are similar, which are not described herein again.
Those of ordinary skill in the art will understand that: all or a portion of the steps of implementing the above-described method embodiments may be performed by hardware associated with program instructions. The program may be stored in a computer-readable storage medium. When executed, the program performs steps comprising the method embodiments described above; and the aforementioned storage medium includes: various media that can store program codes, such as ROM, RAM, magnetic or optical disks.

Claims (13)

1. A method for adjusting priority of a Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) flow rule flow-spec table is characterized by comprising the following steps:
network equipment generates an announcement message, wherein the announcement message contains BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information;
the network device sends the notification message to a forwarding device, wherein the notification message is used for indicating the forwarding device to adjust the priority of a BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding device when the BGP flow-spec table is used for message forwarding according to the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information;
the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information comprises the priority of the BGP flow-spec table, or the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information comprises the priority relation between the BGP flow-spec table and other forwarding tables.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the network device is a Controller in a control forwarding disjoint network architecture or is another forwarding device that establishes a BGP peer with the forwarding device.
3. The method as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein the notification message is a BGP UPDATE message, and the network layer reachability information NLRI of the BGP UPDATE message contains the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information.
4. A method for adjusting priority of a Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) flow rule flow-spec table is characterized by comprising the following steps:
the forwarding equipment receives an announcement message sent by the network equipment, wherein the announcement message contains BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information;
the forwarding equipment adjusts the priority of the BGPflow-spec table in the forwarding equipment when the BGPflow-spec table is used for message forwarding according to the priority adjustment information of the BGP flow-spec table;
the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information comprises the priority of the BGP flow-spec table, or the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information comprises the priority relation between the BGP flow-spec table and other forwarding tables.
5. The method as claimed in claim 4, wherein the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information includes a priority of a BGP flow-spec table, and the adjusting, by the forwarding device, the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding device when the BGP flow-spec table is used for packet forwarding according to the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information includes:
and the forwarding equipment sets the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding equipment according to the priority of the BGP flow-spec table contained in the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information.
6. The method as claimed in claim 4, wherein the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information includes a priority relationship between a BGP flow-spec table and other forwarding tables, and the forwarding device adjusts the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding device when the BGP flow-spec table is used for packet forwarding according to the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information, including:
and the forwarding equipment sets the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding equipment to be higher than that of other forwarding tables or sets the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding equipment to be lower than that of other forwarding tables according to the priority relation between the BGP flow-spec table and other forwarding tables.
7. A network device, comprising:
the generation module is used for generating an announcement message, and the announcement message contains priority adjustment information of a BGP flow rule flow-spec table;
a sending module, configured to send the notification message to a forwarding device, where the notification message is used to instruct the forwarding device to adjust a priority of a BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding device when the BGP flow-spec table is used for packet forwarding according to the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information;

9. The network device of claim 7 or 8, wherein the notification message is a BGP UPDATE message, and wherein the network layer reachability information NLRI of the BGP UPDATE message comprises the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information.
10. A forwarding device, comprising:
the receiving module is used for receiving an announcement message sent by the network equipment, wherein the announcement message contains priority adjustment information of a Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) flow rule flow-spec table;

11. The forwarding device of claim 10 wherein the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information comprises a priority of a BGP flow-spec table;
the adjustment module is specifically configured to: and setting the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding equipment according to the priority of the BGP flow-spec table contained in the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information.
12. The forwarding device of claim 10 wherein the BGP flow-spec table priority adjustment information comprises a priority relationship with BGP flow-spec tables and other forwarding tables;
the setting module is specifically configured to: and according to the priority relation between the BGP flow-spec table and other forwarding tables, setting the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding equipment to be higher than that of the other forwarding tables, or setting the priority of the BGP flow-spec table in the forwarding equipment to be lower than that of the other forwarding tables.
13. A system for adjusting BGP flow rule flow-spec table priority, comprising: a network device as claimed in any one of claims 7 to 9, and a forwarding device as claimed in any one of claims 10 to 12.
