Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.
The terminal device displays the content of a page based on the display frame, wherein the page comprises: the display frame is used for controlling the arrangement and display mode of the content in the page in a graphical interface of the terminal equipment, such as the position of a display area occupied in the graphical interface and the size of the display area; taking a graphical interface as full screen display as an example, referring to a display frame 101 shown by a dotted line in fig. 1, the display frame 101 completely corresponds to a graphical interface of the terminal device 100, and all areas in the display frame 101 are used for displaying content of a page; of course, the area of the display frame 101 may be divided, for example, as shown in fig. 2, in the display frame 102, a chapter body area 1021 for displaying the content of the page and a chapter title area 1022 for displaying the chapter to which the page belongs (in the embodiment of the present invention, the upper organization unit of the page, such as the chapter, the piece, and the like, may also be referred to as a page set, and one page set includes multiple pages) are included; the frame lines of the areas are all the divisions of the graphical interface of the terminal equipment for distinguishing different areas, and do not need to be loaded (namely are invisible to a user) during actual display.
When a user needs to search for content (subsequently called a target page) in an electronic document, the user cannot accurately provide accurate keywords of the target content, and only can search for the content in the electronic document in a page-by-page browsing mode according to the approximate position of the target page of the target content in the electronic document, so that the searching efficiency is low; for example, if a user desires to search for a piece of content that has been read before when reading to page 50 in an electronic document, but the user only remembers the approximate position of the target page in the previous page 50 (the user cannot provide an accurate keyword for searching), if the user conducts page-by-page backtracking browsing based on the display frame shown in fig. 1 or fig. 2, since only one page can be displayed at a time in the graphical interface of the terminal device, the user needs to search for pages through multiple page switches, the number of operations is large, and the searching efficiency is affected.
In view of the above problem, an embodiment of the present invention describes an information processing method, which can be applied to a terminal device 100, and is convenient for quickly positioning a target page in an electronic document: the terminal device 100 may be implemented in a variety of ways; for example, the terminal device 100 may be a smart phone, a tablet computer, an electronic book (e.g., a device using an electronic ink display), a desktop computer, a notebook computer; the terminal device 100 generally has a display screen, and the device performs rendering of images through its own processor, so as to load a graphical interface in the display screen of the electronic device; of course, the terminal device 100 may not have a display screen, and only obtain the signal carrying the graphics through rendering by a processor, for example, the terminal device 100 may be a desktop computer host, so that an electrical signal carrying graphics data may be output to a display device connected to the host, thereby loading a display on the display screen. The terminal device 100 may implement the present invention by running executable instructions in its own storage medium (e.g., flash memory, hard disk, cache memory), and the executable instructions may be loaded into the storage medium of the terminal device 100 by installing an application.
Referring to fig. 3, the terminal device 100 supports the user to find the target content in the page (including the read page and the unread page) to facilitate the quick location of the target page in the electronic document by the following steps:
step 101, reading the first display frame, and loading the first display frame in the graphical interface of the terminal device 100.
When the terminal device 100 reads the first display frame, in this embodiment, it is regarded that the terminal device 100 enters a search mode for a page, and the display frame is used to control how the page is displayed in a graphical interface of the display device, for example, how the graphical interface is divided, referring to fig. 4, the display frame 103 (the first display frame) has a feature including at least two regions, which are called a first region 1031 and a second region 1032; the sizes and relative position relations of the first region 1031 and the second region 1032 are adjusted according to different embodiments; referring to the display frame 103 shown in fig. 4, the display frame 103 includes a first area 1031 and a second area 1032, wherein the display frame 103 is divided vertically by the first area 1031 and the second area 1032, and a graphical interface occupied by the first area 1031 is smaller than a graphical interface occupied by the second area 1032.
And 102, reading the content of the page in the target page set.
The target page set is a page set to which a target page where target content expected to be searched by a user belongs, and is obtained by primarily positioning the target content, the target page set can be any one or more page sets in the electronic document, and the target page set can be a page set corresponding to the reading progress determined according to the reading progress record of the electronic document; for example, when the user reads to the 5 th chapter (corresponding to the 5 th page set) of the electronic document, if the terminal device 100 receives an instruction to trace back the previously read page (to find the target content), the 5 th chapter (including the page) corresponding to the current reading progress is taken as the target page set.
And 103, rendering and forming an identification item of the corresponding page based on the content of the page.
The identification item is a graphic element for subsequent loading into the first display frame, and carries a page identification of a page, as an example of forming the page identification, for a page in the target page set, an identification corresponding to an arrangement order may be formed for the page based on an arrangement order between the pages, so that the identification item corresponding to the page is formed based on identification rendering.
For example, each page in the target page set may be represented by a number (a page number corresponding to the page), and when the electronic document includes multiple chapters (page sets), the chapter number and the number of the page in the electronic document may also be used as an identifier of the page, for example, referring to fig. 5, for a page with a page number of 11 in the 1 st chapter, an identifier item formed by corresponding rendering carries page identifiers 1-11, and identifies that the identifier item represents the 11 th page of the 1 st chapter;
as another example of forming the page identification, for a page in the target page set, a thumbnail view of content of the corresponding page may be formed based on content rendering of the page, and an identification item of the corresponding page may be formed based on thumbnail view rendering; referring to fig. 6, for a page with page number 11 of chapter 1, a thumbnail view of page content is carried in the corresponding rendered identifier, and a proportion (e.g., 10% or 5%) of the thumbnail view relative to a graphical interface of the terminal device 100 cannot reach a level that enables a user to know the content of the page based on the thumbnail view, and is only used for the user to know paragraph structure information (e.g., the number of included paragraphs, the number of pictures, etc.) of the page.
And 104, loading at least part of identification items in the first area 1031 in the first display frame until the first area 1031 is filled.
Referring to fig. 7, corresponding to the identification items rendered in fig. 5, it is assumed that the terminal device 100 reads all pages (including page 1 to page 30) of section 1 to render and form corresponding identification items, and performs filling and loading in the first area 1031, where the size of the first area 1031 is not large enough to load all identification items of page 1 to page 30 at one time, and only a part of the identification items, including identification items 1 to 11, identification items 1 to 13, and identification items 1 to 14, sufficient to fill the first area 1031 are loaded.
Referring to fig. 8, corresponding to the identification items rendered in fig. 6, it is assumed that the terminal device 100 reads all pages (including page 1 to page 30) of the 1 st chapter to render and form corresponding identification items, and performs filling and loading in the first area 1031, the size of the first area 1031 is not large enough to load all the identification items of page 1 to page 30 at one time, only a part of the identification items, including identification items 1 to 11, identification items 1 to 13, and identification items 1 to 14, which are enough to fill the first area 1031 are loaded, and the identification items loaded in the first area 1031 do not carry page identifications, so that a user can understand the paragraph structures (also can know whether pictures and tables are included) of different pages from the thumbnail views carried by the identification items, and specifically recognize the content of the pages.
It should be noted that the ratio of the identification items shown in fig. 5 and fig. 6 to the graphical interface of the terminal device 100 may be set according to the number of identification items that actually need to be loaded; when the number of the identification items to be loaded in the first area 1031 is larger, the ratio of the identification items formed by rendering with respect to the graphical interface of the terminal device 100 is smaller; since the identification item is only used to ensure the corresponding page, and does not need to be used for the user to view the specific content of the corresponding page, the identification item may be rendered in a reduced manner with respect to the graphical interface of the terminal device 100, for example, to a size of 10% or 5% of the graphical interface, so that the identification items corresponding to the multiple pages are filled in the first area 1031 of the first display frame.
Step 105, loading the content item corresponding to at least one page in the second area 1032 of the first mode frame until the second area 1032 is filled.
For a content item corresponding to a page loaded in the first zone 1031 when the identification item is loaded in the first zone 1031 (each page identification corresponds to one page in the page set), the content item corresponding to the page loaded in the first zone 1031 in the second zone 1032 may be loaded, for example, in an initial state, the content item of a page corresponding to the first identification item located in the first zone 1031 may be loaded in the second zone 1032, and of course, in an initial state, the content item of a page corresponding to any one identification item located in the first zone 1031 may also be loaded in the second zone 1032.
The identification items, the page contents and the content items are in a one-to-one correspondence relationship, the content items carry the contents of corresponding pages, and in the first display frame, the proportion of the second area 1032 occupied in the graphical interface of the terminal device 100 is greater than the proportion of the first area 1031 occupied in the graphical interface of the terminal device 100, so that a user can intuitively know the contents carried by the content items loaded in the second area 1032.
Referring to fig. 9, when the first region 1031 loads a page item filled with a page corresponding to one identification item loaded in the first region 1031, that is, an identification item of pages 1 to 11, an identification item of pages 1 to 12, an identification item of pages 1 to 13, and an identification item of pages 1 to 14, in an initial state (before a user does not operate the first region 1031 and the second region 1032), a content item of pages 1 to 11 is loaded in the first region 1031, the content item carries the content of pages 1 to 11, and the user can form a knowledge of specific content of pages 1 to 11 based on the content item of pages 1 to 11; of course, in the initial state, only the content items of pages 1-12, 1-13 or 1-14 may be loaded without loading the content items of pages 1-11 in the first area 1031;
the second area 1032 is illustrated in fig. 9 as being loaded with a content item of one page; when loading the content item of the page corresponding to the identification item loaded in the first area 1031 does not affect the knowledge of the specific content carried by the content item (i.e. the content item will not be carried and the user will not be unrecognizable), the page items of the pages corresponding to a plurality of adjacent identification items located in the first area 1031 (i.e. the loaded identification item is filled in the first area 1031) may also be loaded in the second area 1032, for example, referring to fig. 10, the content items of pages 1-11 and the content items of pages 1-12 may be loaded in the second area 1032 (the identification items of pages 1-11 and the identification items of pages 1-12 are adjacent in the first area 1031);
step 106, detecting an operation for the identification item in the first zone 1031, updating the content item loaded by the second zone 1032 when the operation is detected, and synchronizing the content item loaded by the second zone 1032 with the identification item of the operation.
By synchronized, it is meant that the loaded content items in the second zone 1032 are updated in synchronization with the identification items of the first zone 1031, so that when the user updates the identification item of the first area 1031 by an operation, referring to fig. 11, when the identification items loaded in the first area 1031 are updated to the identification items of pages 1-15, the identifications of pages 1-16, the identification items of pages 1-17 and the identification items of pages 1-18, the content items loaded in the second zone 1032 are updated to the content items of pages 1-15 and the content items of pages 1-16, respectively, that is, the second zone 1032 is capable of loading the content items of the pages corresponding to the identification items loaded in the first zone 1031, so that the user can operate the manner of updating the loaded identification item in the first area 1031, fast browsing of the content of the page through the content items updated in the second area 1032 facilitates fast targeting of the target content.
Example two
In the embodiment, a description is made of a process of rendering a content item in the foregoing embodiment, and for each page in the target page set, referring to fig. 12, a corresponding content item is rendered and formed through the following steps:
step 201, extracting the content of each page unit in the page.
Step 202, merging the content extracted from each page unit in the page to obtain the key content of the corresponding page.
The page unit is the natural division of the page based on the paragraph structure of the page:
1) when the page units are natural sentences in the page, processing each page unit in the page by using a keyword extraction algorithm, and outputting key contents corresponding to each page unit;
2) when the page unit is a natural segment in the page, extracting content at a specific position of the page unit as key content, for example, for Y page units of the page, taking the first X characters in each page unit as the key content of the page unit, and taking the value of X as the width capable of being adapted to fill a content item corresponding to the page (assuming that a line of characters in the content item corresponds to one page unit in the page), accordingly, Y X characters extracted from the corresponding page can completely fill the content item corresponding to the page unit; when only one page unit (the page unit at this time is a natural segment) exists in the page, the page unit is divided into a plurality of natural segments by the division marks (periods) of the natural sentences, and extracted from each natural segment.
And step 203, rendering the key content of the page to form a content item of the corresponding page.
As before, when rendering is performed based on the key content of the page, the obtained content item can enable the user to form intuitive cognition on the corresponding page by recognizing the key content carried by the content item when the obtained content item is loaded in the first area 1031; in actual implementation, the terminal device 100 may render corresponding identification items and content items for all or part of the pages in the target page set, so that when the first area 1031 needs to update the loaded identification items, the load identification items may be updated in the first area 1031 immediately based on the identification items rendered in advance, and the load content items may be updated in the second area 1032 immediately based on the content items rendered in advance, thereby avoiding a situation of load delay and ensuring smooth use experience.
EXAMPLE III
In this embodiment, a description is given of a process in which an operation for an identification item is detected in the first area 1031 in the first embodiment, and when a point-and-touch operation (operation in the first manner) that a user selects the identification item is detected in the first area 1031 of the terminal device 100, a content item of a page corresponding to the selected identification item is correspondingly loaded in the second area 1032, so that the user can quickly recognize the content of the page corresponding to the selected identification item.
For example, when the terminal device 100 loads the identification items of each page in the target page set in the first area 1031, and the user performs a first mode operation (such as a single-point or multi-point click operation, or of course, any other predetermined operation in any form) on one of the identification items, referring to fig. 13, the response processing of the terminal device 100 includes the following steps:
step 301, analyzing the operation of the first mode, and determining that the operation is an operation of selecting a first target identification item from the identification items loaded in the first area 1031.
In step 302, the content item of the page corresponding to the first target identification item is loaded in the second area 1032 to replace the historical content item loaded in the second area 1032.
For example, as shown in fig. 14, when the user performs the operation in the first manner on the identification items of the pages 1 to 17 in the identification items loaded in the first area 1031, the terminal device 100 loads the content items of the pages 1 to 18 in the first area 1031, so that the user can quickly recognize the content of the pages 1 to 18 based on the content items of the pages 1 to 18; of course, the identification item (first target identification item) selected by the operation in the first manner and the content item of the page corresponding to the identification item adjacent to the selected identification item may be loaded in the first area 1031; referring to fig. 15, when the user performs the operation of the first mode on the identification items of the pages 1 to 17, the terminal device 100 may load the pages 1 to 17 and the content items of the pages 1 to 18 in the first area 1031, so that the user can form a quick awareness of the contents of the pages 1 to 17 and the pages 1 to 18 based on the content items of the pages 1 to 17 and the pages 1 to 18.
Example four
The present embodiment explains a process of detecting an operation for an identification item in the first area 1031 in the first embodiment; when the first area 1031 is not sufficient to load the identification items corresponding to all the pages in the target page set at one time, the terminal device 100 supports detecting an operation of updating the loaded identification items performed by the user in the first area 1031 (an operation in a second manner, such as an operation in a sliding manner), detecting an operation of updating the identification items performed by the user in the first area 1031, loading new identification items in the first area 1031 (that is, identification items that are not loaded before the operation in the second manner is detected), and updating the loaded content items in the second area 1032, that is, loading the content items of the pages corresponding to the updated identification items in the second area 1032, so that the user can quickly recognize the content of the pages corresponding to the newly loaded identification items.
For example, when the terminal device 100 loads the identification items of each page in the target page set in the first area 1031, and the user performs the operation of the second mode (such as a single-point or multi-point sliding operation, or of course, any other predetermined operation in any form) on one of the identification items, referring to fig. 16, the response processing of the terminal device 100 includes the following steps:
step 401, parsing the operation of the second manner, and determining that the operation is an operation of updating at least part of the identification items loaded in the first area 1031.
Step 402, loading a new identification item in the first zone 1031, and updating and loading a content item of a page corresponding to the new identification item in the second zone 1032.
When the new identification item is loaded in the first area 1031, the originally loaded identification item is no longer loaded or partially loaded, for example, referring to fig. 17, when the terminal device 100 detects a sliding operation in the second manner once, the originally loaded identification item (including the identification items of pages 1 to 15, pages 1 to 16, pages 1 to 17, and pages 1 to 18) originally stopped in the first area 1031 may be stopped from being loaded, and as shown in fig. 18, the new identification item (including the identification items of pages 1 to 19, pages 1 to 20, pages 1 to 21, and pages 1 to 22) is loaded in the first area 1031, the content item (including the content items of pages 1 to 19 and pages 1 to 20) corresponding to the new identification item is correspondingly loaded in the second area 1032, and the user may perform a sliding operation on the pages 1 to 19 based on the new content item loaded in the second area 1032, The content of the pages 1-20 forms an awareness, and subsequently, if the user desires to know the content of the pages 1-21 or the pages 1-22, a click operation (operation in a first manner) may be performed on the identification items of the pages 1-21 or the pages 1-22 in the first area 1031, so that the terminal device 100 updates the content items of the loaded pages 1-21 or the pages 1-22 in the second area 1032.
For example, referring to fig. 17, when the terminal device 100 detects a sliding operation in the second manner once, as shown in fig. 19, the loading of part of the originally loaded identification items (including the identification items of pages 1 to 15 and 1 to 16) is stopped in the first area 1031, and the new identification items (including the identification items of pages 1 to 21 and 1 to 22) are loaded, the content items (including the content items of pages 1 to 19 and 1 to 20) of the pages corresponding to the new identification items are correspondingly loaded in the second area 1032, the user may form an awareness of the contents of the pages 1 to 19 and 1 to 20 based on the new content items loaded in the second area 1032, and then if the user desires to know the contents of the pages 1 to 21 or 1 to 22, a click operation (operation in the first manner) may be performed on the identification items of the pages 1 to 21 or 1 to 22 in the first area 1031, the terminal device 100 is caused to update the content items of the loaded pages 1-21 or pages 1-22 in the second area 1032.
Example four
In the foregoing embodiment, the terminal device 100 loads the first display frame on the graphical interface, loads the identifier of the page in the first area 1031 of the first display frame, updates the identifier loaded in the first area 1031 according to the click operation (operation in the first manner) and the slide operation (operation in the second manner) of the user, and updates the loaded content item (content item of the page corresponding to the updated loaded identifier) in the second area 1032 in synchronization, so that the user can quickly recognize the content in the content item and locate the target content; referring to FIG. 19, if full screen reading of the content of pages 1-20 is desired when the user locates the target content in the content items of pages 1-20, referring to FIG. 20, full screen reading of the page on which the target content is located by the user may be supported by:
in step 501, a second target identification item triggered by the operation in the third mode is detected in the first area 1031.
The second target identification item is an identification item triggered by the user performing an operation of the third mode (different from the operation of the first mode and the operation of the second mode, for example, a double-click operation) in the first area 1031, is not specific to any one of the identification items in the second area 1032, and is only distinguished from the first target identification item.
Step 502, loading a second display frame in the graphical interface of the terminal device 100 instead of loading the first display frame, and loading the content of the page corresponding to the second target identification item in the second display frame.
Step 502 now switches from the search mode (using the first display frame) to the reading mode (using the second display frame), referring to fig. 21, when the user performs the operation of the third manner in the first area 1031 to trigger one identification item loaded in the second area 1032 (i.e. the second target identification item), referring to fig. 22, the terminal device 100 loads the display frame 104 (the second display frame) on the graphical interface to replace the display frame 103 loaded in fig. 19, and loads the contents of the pages 1 to 19 in the display frame 104, thereby enabling the user to read the contents of the pages 1 to 19 in a full screen manner; the display frame 104 may be loaded with operation items displayed in a first display frame, such as page turning, backtracking (i.e., loading the first display frame in the graphical interface instead of loading a second display frame to reposition the target content), and so on.
EXAMPLE five
The terminal device 100 supports the user to read the contents of different chapter pages in the electronic document by running an application (e.g., an e-book application), and provides an entry for a reading mode (loading the second display frame in the graphical interface) and a search mode (loading the first display frame in the graphical interface) when the terminal runs the application, see fig. 23.
1) When it is detected that the user triggers a search mode for the electronic document, a first display frame is loaded in the graphical interface of the terminal device 100, loading an identification item of a page in a target chapter (corresponding to a target page set, which may be any chapter or a chapter specified by a user and starting to search) in the first area 1031, loading a content item of the page corresponding to the identification item loaded in the first area 1031 in the second area 1032, enabling the user to search for target content based on content carried by the content item (which may be all content or part content of the page, and may be key content of the page when part content of the page is adopted), and according to an operation (the aforementioned operation in the first manner) of the user selecting the identification item in the first area 1031, loading the content item of the page corresponding to the selected identification item in the second area 1032, and supporting the user to select the content of a certain page to search the target content; if the user does not find the target content in the page corresponding to the currently loaded identification item, a switching update operation (operation in the second mode) may be performed on the identification item loaded in the first area 1031, and the terminal device 100 updates the identification item loaded in the first area 1031 according to the switching update operation (operation in the second mode) performed by the user on the identification item of the first area 1031, and correspondingly updates and loads the content item of the page corresponding to the new identification item in the second area 1032, so as to support the user to perform fast switching between pages and continue to search the target content in the content item of the page corresponding to the newly loaded identification item;
when the user does not find the target content in all the pages in the current chapter (target page set), the searched chapter can be switched; accordingly, the terminal device 100 loads a page set selection operation item (such as a specific icon and/or title of a chapter) in the third area 1033 of the first display frame to support the user to perform an operation of switching to find a chapter, when a title area of the specific icon or chapter is triggered (clicked), that is, when it is detected that the page set selection operation item is triggered, a selection interface of the page set is loaded in an overlay form at least in the third area 1033 (e.g., in a partial area among the first area 1031, the second area 1032, and the third area 1033), and the detected selected page set is taken as a new target page set to replace the current target page set, for the new target page set, the terminal device 100 loads an identification item of a page in the new target page set in the first area 1031, loads a content item of a partial identification item (an identification item loaded in the first area 1031) corresponding page in the second area 1032, the user continues to search the target content;
when the user locates the target page where the target content is located, the third-mode operation is performed on the target page, so that the terminal device 100 loads the second display frame, and the content of the target page is loaded in a full-screen mode for the user to read; the specific implementation of the above processing has already been described in the foregoing embodiments, and is not described here again.
2) When detecting that the user triggers a reading mode for the electronic document, loading a second display frame in the graphical interface of the terminal device 100, and loading a page of a certain chapter (such as a first chapter or specified by the user) in the electronic article in the second display frame, when the user reads a certain page, such as 10-11 page (page 11 of chapter 1), it is desired to perform quick browsing and searching on a subsequent page (the user cannot give an accurate search keyword), implementing a specific operation trigger to switch to the searching mode in the first area 1031 or the second area 1032, as shown in fig. 10, when the first terminal device 100 detects an operation of searching in the current chapter and the subsequent chapter (corresponding to a target page set), loading the first display frame in the graphical interface instead of loading the second display frame, loading an identification item of the subsequent page starting from page 11 of chapter 1 in the first area 1031 in a filling manner, loading the content items of pages 1-11, pages 1-12 in the second region 1032; the identifier item loaded in the first area 1031 and the content item recorded in the second area 1032 are updated according to the operation of the user, and the specific processing refers to the description of the foregoing embodiment, which is not described herein again.
EXAMPLE six
As shown in fig. 25, when the user reads a certain part in the middle of the electronic book and needs to trace back the front content of the electronic book, the trace-back function page is entered through a specific entry (including clicking a virtual button presented in a specific area on a graphical interface or triggering by a specific gesture) (which is equivalent to entering the search mode in the foregoing embodiment).
When the terminal device 100 displays the page to be traced back, the content (20 pages before the current page are automatically abbreviated (here, 20 pages are only an example, the actual abbreviated amount can be determined according to the data processing capability of the terminal device and the amount of the page that the user needs to trace back and browse) is displayed 20 pages before the current page (accordingly, when the user needs to quickly search the content after the current page, the terminal device can automatically abbreviate 20 pages after the current page), and a picture with a screen size of 20% (other proportions can also be adopted) is loaded in the first area 1031 in fig. 24, and for the first X characters of each segment in the abbreviated page, the content (corresponding to the content item in the foregoing embodiment, the X value depends on the number of characters that can be displayed in one line of the screen and the number of the segments in the page) is taken as the text summary on the left side of the thumbnail, and the total Y segments are. Specifically, the rule is that the extracted text can fill the page summary area (i.e., the second area 1032 described in the above embodiment).
For the extraction of the abstract in the abbreviated page, if the page is not segmented, the segmentation is carried out based on the period number, and the segmentation basis is processed; if a sentence is less than a certain number of words (20 for example), the sentence should be merged into the previous sentence, i.e. as a paragraph together with the previous sentence.
In fig. 25, the user can click on the title of the chapter or a specific virtual function button to select the chapter desired to be traced back, and the list of chapters is shown in fig. 26; when a user desires to read a certain thumbnail page in a full screen, a click operation may be performed on the corresponding thumbnail, as shown in fig. 25, and when a certain thumbnail is clicked, as shown in fig. 27, the terminal device 100 displays content corresponding to the thumbnail page in a full screen manner.
