Abstract
The floor covering consists of individual intercoupled plastic panels with a skeleton structure. Each individual element consists of an outer frame (2-5) and latticed cross-struts (6-9), in each case at least one (6; 7) of which runs along the diagonals and in each case interconnects two of the corners. As a result of this structure, an undesirable deformation in particular of the panel corners is avoided, without sacrificing elasticity, even under loading, e.g. in the case of use as a tennis-court covering. <IMAGE>

PATENTANSPRÜCHE
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt entlang der Linie I-I von Fig. 1.

PATENT CLAIMS
1.Easily resilient flooring made of plate-shaped, square plastic elements, each of which has a skeleton structure with an outer frame and thus one-piece lattice-like struts and coupling elements for adjacent elements, characterized in that each of the plate-shaped elements has at least two diagonally extending, two of each Struts connecting corners together.
2. Floor covering according to claim 1, characterized in that struts are provided running along all axes of symmetry of the plate-shaped elements.
3. Floor covering according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a dense network of struts is provided for each element, which run parallel to the element sides and the diagonals and are connected to each other at the intersection or node.
The present invention relates to an elastically resilient floor covering made of plate-shaped, square plastic elements, each of which has a skeleton structure with an outer frame and thus a one-piece lattice-like struts and coupling elements for adjacent elements.
Sports field coverings, in particular tennis court coverings, have been successfully produced from such plastic elements with a skeleton or lattice structure.
In the known elements, in which struts running parallel to the sides and to the diagonals are provided, but not a strut network in which all plate corners are connected to struts, undesirable bending occurs under load, which even leads to loosening the connections (couplings ) can lead between adjacent elements. Attempts have been made to partially counteract these deformations with so-called expansion grooves, which divide the plates in the two main directions.
The aforementioned disadvantages have now been avoided in the floor covering according to the invention in that each of the plate-shaped elements has at least two diagonally extending struts, each connecting two of the corners to one another.
Excellent stability is achieved without complex expansion grooves which are disadvantageous in use.
Struts are preferably provided running along all axes of symmetry of the plate-shaped elements.
In a particularly expedient embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, a dense network of struts is provided for each element, which run parallel to the element sides and the diagonals and are connected to one another at the intersections or nodes.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. It shows:
Fig. 1 is a plan view of a plate-shaped element for forming a floor covering according to the invention, and
FIG. 2 shows a section along the line I-I of FIG. 1.
The floor element 1 shown in the drawing has an outer frame with the frame sides 2, 3, db and 5 and a plurality of struts arranged in a network-like manner between the frame sides and running parallel to the sides or to the diagonals. The most important struts follow the two diagonals and the other axes of symmetry, that is to say struts 6, 7, 8 and 9. The struts are each connected to one another at the intersection or node.
Each element forms a unit and is injection molded from plastic.
Fig. 2 of the drawing shows an element in section, wherein in particular the support members can be seen on the underside of the element. The coupling of the elements to one another takes place via the tabs 10 and corresponding pins 11.
