Description
Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Darstellung einer Ausführungsform des Flachbeutels nach der Erfindung;
Fig. 2 ein schematischer Querschnitt des Flachbeutels nach Fig. 1;
So könnte man z.
So könnte z.
Filled flat pouch, process for its manufacture and
Device for carrying out the method
The invention relates to a filled flat bag with an approximately rectangular profile, which consists of a single film folded around the packaged object or objects, which is closed with one longitudinal and two transverse seams. Known flat bags of this type have the disadvantage that they are not sufficiently rigid, so that if they are not filled to the full, they are unsightly and difficult to stack. In order to avoid these disadvantages, the flat bag according to the invention is characterized in that two opposite longitudinal sides are bent.
The invention also relates to a method for producing such a flat pouch, in which method one starts from a film web and from it a tube enclosing the objects to be packaged and having an at least approximately rectangular profile is formed, which is provided with the longitudinal seam and then individual for formation each of a filled bag cuts off certain parts and provides them with the transverse seams. The method according to the invention is characterized in that two opposite longitudinal sides of the tube are bent in before the aforementioned parts are cut off. Finally, the invention also relates to a device for carrying out this method.
This device is characterized by two profile jaws with opposing protruding edges which, when the tube is advanced, produce kink lines in its narrow sides.
The invention is explained below using the drawing, for example. It is:
1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the flat bag according to the invention;
FIG. 2 shows a schematic cross section of the flat bag according to FIG. 1;
3 and 4 each show a schematic cross section of two known flat bags; and
5 shows a perspective, schematic representation of an embodiment of the device according to the invention.
The elongated flat bag shown in Figs. 1 and 2 consists of a single packaging film 1, for. B. from aluminum foil laminated with a plastic.
The bag has a substantially rectangular profile, but its narrow sides 2 are not flat, but are bent inwards. Approximately in the middle of one of the two broad sides 3 of the bag, opposite longitudinal edges 4 of the film 1 are welded to one another, which has been brought about by pressing and heating the lamination layer on the inside of the bag, not shown. Opposite transverse edges 5 of the film 1 have been welded to one another in the same way at both of its ends.
In the manufacture of the bag, the film 1 is in a known manner around the item or items to be packaged 6, e.g. B. baked goods, folded, whereupon the narrow sides 2 are buckled in a manner to be explained in more detail later with reference to FIG. The buckling of the narrow sides causes a significant stiffening of the bag, so that the same retains its shape, even if he is of the objects to be packaged 6, of which z. B. several in the longitudinal direction of the bag are one behind the other, is not completely filled. This is not the case with the known flat bags shown in FIGS. 3 and 4.
The bag according to FIG. 3 differs from the bag according to FIGS. 1 and 2 only in the lack of buckling of the narrow sides, while the bag according to FIG. 4 consists of two foils 7 and 8 which are welded at their opposite longitudinal edges so that two longitudinal weld seams 9 are present. The bag according to FIG. 4 also hugs its contents very closely and also has the disadvantage compared to the bags according to FIGS. 2 and 3 that more packaging material and the production of two longitudinal welds are required . The greater rigidity of the bag according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is not only desirable for the more pleasing presentation of the same when selling, son countries also proves to be advantageous when stacking the filled bags.
To produce the bag according to FIGS. 1 and 2 one proceeds preferably first in the same way as is known for the production of the bag according to FIG. B. in Swiss Patent No.
385 324 is described in detail. The starting point is a web of packaging material which is fed to a folding device, by means of which this web is folded around the objects to be packaged, which are simultaneously fed by a conveyor device, into a flat tube 10 (see FIG. 5) of essentially rectangular profile. This tube 10 is fed from the known folding device to the device 11 shown in FIG.
The device 11 has two spacer plates 12 which serve as a guide for the broad sides 3 of the hose 10 moved in the direction of arrow 13. The mutual distance a of the spacer plates decreases slightly in the direction of arrow 13 so that the narrow sides 2 of the hose 10 can be kinked, which would not be possible if the same were tensioned. At the end of the spacer plates 12, the hose 10 passes between two profile jaws 14, which have two opposing, protruding edges 15 which produce 2 kink lines 16 in the narrow sides.
In order to prevent the four edges 17 of the hose 10 from being rounded when the narrow sides 2 buckle, these edges are passed between the profile jaws 14 and a pressure roller 18, which is preferably under spring pressure, so that a small fold 19 is created. The press rollers 18 and / or the profile jaws 14 are preferably electrically heated so that the fold 19 is welded together, which significantly increases the rigidity of the bag. In the absence of welding, the one opens at the edges
17 produced a fold again later, something as shown in FIG.
The advancement of the hose 10 is effected in a known manner by means of two driven, heated rollers (not shown) which press the longitudinal edges 4 together and at the same time effect the advance and the longitudinal welding. The tube filled in the intended division sections with the objects to be packaged is then, as is also known, cut off after folding the longitudinal edges of the 4 on the relevant broad side 3 (see FIG. 2) and provided with the transverse welds.
Although the method described is particularly useful, other embodiments are also possible. So you could z. B. instead of the longitudinal edges 4 to be folded over, also weld or glue longitudinal edges together ver that are in the plane of the
Overlap broadside 3. In this case, other than the above-mentioned means for advancing the hose must be used. So could z. B. the
Welding device for the transverse seams can be used for this purpose. The kink line 16 does not always have to be sharp
Line appear, but can also be rounded more or less like a fillet. Instead of the press rollers 18, press shoes could also be provided. Depending on the intended adhesive material, the formation of adhesive seams can also be achieved simply by pressure, that is, without additional heating.
