  Verfahren und Einrichtung zum Zuschweissen schlauchförmiger Netze aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff
Bei der Herstellung von beutelartigen Gebilden aus schlauchförmigen Netzen ist es erforderlich, die Netze an einem Ende dauerhaft zu verschliessen. Bei Netzen aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff, z. B. aus Polyvinylchlorid, Polyäthylen, Polyamid oder dergleichen, werden die schlauchförmigen Netze zu diesem Zweck an einem Ende zugeschweisst. Dies geschieht bisher in der Weise, dass man das Netz an dem zu verschliessenden Ende durch eine Klammer zusammenfasst und zwischen Elektroden erhitzt.



  Dabei werden aber nur die jeweils in der Klammer aufeinanderliegenden Fäden des Netzes miteinander verschweisst. Die mechanische Festigkeit der Schweissstellen ist daher sehr von Zufälligkeiten abhängig und der später beim Gebrauch der Beutel auftretenden Beanspruchung häufig nicht gewachsen.



   Die Erfindung zielt darauf hin, die geschilderten Nachteile zu vermeiden. Das Verfahren gemäss der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an der Aussenseite des schlauchförmigen Netzes, einander gegenüberliegend, Streifen aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff aufgelegt und durch das Netz hindurch unter Druck und Wärme miteinander verschweisst werden. Die zu verbindenden Netzteile sollen dabei zwischen den genannten Kunststoffstreifen form- und stoffschlüssig eingebettet und hierbei gleichzeitig durch die Kunststoffstreifen die Verbindungsstelle besonders verstärkt werden.



   Eine besonders geeignete Einrichtung für die Durchführung dieses Verfahrens besitzt zwei mittels Rollenpaaren gleichlaufend und einander unter Druck anliegend geführte Metallbänder, zwischen denen das zu verschweissende schlauchförmige Netz zusammen mit den thermoplastischen Kunststoffstreifen eingelegt wird, sowie, entlang der genannten Metallbänder hintereinander angeordnet, eine Heizvorrichtung zum Schweissen und eine Kühlvorrichtung zum Kühlen des Netzes.



   Die Zeichnung zeigt beispielsweise schematisch eine Einrichtung für die Durchführung des Verfahrens nach der Erfindung.



   Es bezeichnen 1 die beiden Metallbänder, vorzugsweise zwei Stahlbänder, die über die Rollenpaare 2 und 3 laufen und dabei zwischen diesen gleichlaufend und aufeinandergepresst geführt werden.



  Auf dem Wege der Metallbänder 1 sind eine Heizvorrichtung 4 und eine Kühlvorrichtung 5 in der Laufrichtung der Bänder 1 hintereinander angeordnet. 6 sind zwei Vorratsscheiben und 7 zwei   Leit-    rollen für die zum Schweissen verwendeten Kunststoffstreifen 8. Hinter dem letzten Rollenpaar 3 der Metallbandführung ist eine Schere 9 für die Kunststoffstreifen eingebaut.



   Die vorher auf Länge zugeschnittenen Netze 10 werden in solcher Lage, dass der zu verschweissende Teil, zum Beispiel der zu verschweissende Rand, in die Laufrichtung der Metallbänder 1 fällt, zwischen den von den Scheiben 6 über die Leitrollen 7 ablaufenden Kunststoffstreifen 8 eingeführt und zusammen mit den Kunststoffstreifen durch die Metallbänder 1 erfasst, wobei die Kunststoffstreifen unter dem Anpressdruck des Rollenpaares 2 beiderseitig und einander gegenüberliegend auf das flach zusammengelegte schlauchförmige Netz 10 aufgepresst werden.



  Auf dem Wege zwischen den Metallbändern 1 werden die beiden Kunststoffstreifen in der Heizvorrichtung 4 miteinander und mit dem Netz yerschweisst und in der Kühlvorrichtung 5 gekühlt. Die überstehenden Teile der Kunststoffstreifen 7 werden alsdann mittels der Schere 9 abgeschnitten.



   Zur Herstellung von Beuteln können die Netze nach dem Verfahren der Erfindung beispielsweise  auf die Länge eines Beutels zugeschnitten und alsdann an dem einen Ende zugeschweisst werden. Die Netze können aber auch auf die doppelte Länge eines Beutels zugeschnitten und dann entweder auf halber Länge zugeschweisst und längs der Mitte der Schweissnaht durchgeschnitten oder an beiden Enden zugeschweisst und auf halber Länge durchgeschnitten werden. Der Streifen aus thermoplastischem Material kann gleichzeitig als Schweissnahtträger und als Trägerstreifen für die Etikettierung des fertigen Beutels verwendet werden. Dies kann beispielsweise dadurch geschehen, dass der nach dem Verschweissen überstehende Teil des Streifens, gegebenenfalls nach entsprechender Zuschneidung selbst als Etikette bzw.



  Träger für eine Papieretikette dient.   



  
 



  Method and device for welding tubular nets made of thermoplastic material
When producing bag-like structures from tubular nets, it is necessary to permanently close the nets at one end. For networks made of thermoplastic material, e.g. B. made of polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polyamide or the like, the tubular nets are welded at one end for this purpose. So far, this has been done in such a way that the mesh is held together at the end to be closed by a clamp and heated between electrodes.



  However, only the threads of the network lying on top of one another in the clamp are welded to one another. The mechanical strength of the welds is therefore very dependent on randomness and is often not able to cope with the stress that occurs later when the bag is used.



   The invention aims to avoid the disadvantages outlined. The method according to the invention is characterized in that on the outside of the tubular net, opposite one another, strips of thermoplastic material are placed and welded together through the net under pressure and heat. The network parts to be connected are to be embedded between the named plastic strips in a form-fitting and material-locking manner and, at the same time, the connection point is to be particularly reinforced by the plastic strips.



   A particularly suitable device for carrying out this process has two metal strips running parallel to each other by means of pairs of rollers and resting against each other under pressure, between which the tubular network to be welded is inserted together with the thermoplastic strips, as well as a heating device for welding, arranged one behind the other along the said metal strips and a cooling device for cooling the network.



   The drawing shows, for example, schematically a device for carrying out the method according to the invention.



   1 denotes the two metal belts, preferably two steel belts, which run over the pairs of rollers 2 and 3 and are guided between them in the same direction and pressed against one another.



  On the way of the metal strips 1, a heating device 4 and a cooling device 5 are arranged one behind the other in the running direction of the strips 1. 6 are two storage disks and 7 are two guide rollers for the plastic strips 8 used for welding. A pair of scissors 9 for the plastic strips is installed behind the last pair of rollers 3 of the metal strip guide.



   The nets 10 previously cut to length are in such a position that the part to be welded, for example the edge to be welded, falls in the running direction of the metal strips 1, are inserted between the plastic strips 8 running off the discs 6 over the guide rollers 7 and together with the plastic strip is grasped by the metal strips 1, the plastic strips being pressed onto the flat folded tubular net 10 on both sides and opposite one another under the pressure of the roller pair 2.



  On the way between the metal strips 1, the two plastic strips are welded to one another and to the mesh in the heating device 4 and are cooled in the cooling device 5. The protruding parts of the plastic strips 7 are then cut off by means of scissors 9.



   For the production of bags, the nets can be cut to the length of a bag according to the method of the invention, for example, and then welded shut at one end. However, the nets can also be cut to twice the length of a bag and then either welded halfway and cut along the center of the weld seam or welded shut at both ends and cut through halfway. The strip of thermoplastic material can be used at the same time as a weld seam carrier and as a carrier strip for labeling the finished bag. This can be done, for example, by using the part of the strip that protrudes after welding, if necessary after being cut to size, as a label or



  Carrier for a paper label is used.

PATENTANSPRUCH 1 Verfahren zum Zuschweissen schlauchförmiger Netze, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an der Aussenseite des schlauchförmigen Netzes, einander gegen überliegend, Streifen aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff aufgelegt und durch das Netz hindurch unter Druck und Wärme miteinander verschweisst werden.
