Description

  

      Verfahren        zur    Herstellung     kugeliger    Verdickungen an     Borstenenden       Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur  Herstellung von kugeligen Verdickungen an Borsten  enden, beispielsweise bei Bürsten mit Natur- oder  Kunststoffborsten, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet  ist, dass die     Borstenspitzen    durch Hitzeeinwirkung  zum Schmelzen gebracht werden, um an den Borsten  enden kugelige Verdickungen zu erzeugen.  



  Bisher hergestellte Bürsten weisen an ihren Bor  stenenden, bedingt durch den Schnitt, rauhe, zum  Teil scharfe Spitzen auf.  



  Durch die genannten kugeligen Verdickungen  soll die Schärfe der bisher hergestellten Bürsten in  weitem Masse beseitigt werden.  



  An Hand der schematischen Zeichnung wird die  Erfindung beispielsweise erläutert. Es zeigt:       Fig.    1 eine mittels Hitzeschmelzung hergestellte  Serie von kugeligen Verdickungen an einer Bürste,       Fig.2    Gegenüberstellung von  a)     Borstenenden    mit kugeliger Verdickung mit  b)     Borstenspitzen    gewöhnlicher Borsten.  



  Zur Herstellung der kugeligen Verdickungen an  den     Borstenenden    werden die     Borstenspitzen    nur so    nahe an eine offene Flamme,     einen    Glühstab, oder  an eine Heizplatte herangeführt, bis die Spitzen ohne  Verbrennung zur Schmelzung gebracht     sind    und eine  kugelige Verdickung aufweisen.  



  Dieses Verfahren kann vor oder nach der     -          arbeitung    der Borsten angewandt werden.

  To produce the spherical thickenings at the bristle ends, the bristle tips are only brought so close to an open flame, a glow rod or a heating plate until the tips have melted without burning and have a spherical thickening.



  This process can be used before or after the bristles have been processed.

PATENTANSPRUCH Verfahren zur Herstellung von kugeligen Ver dickungen an Borstenenden, dadurch gekennzeich net, d'ass die Borstenspitzen durch Hitzeeinwirkung zum Schmelzen gebracht werden, um an den Borsten enden kugelige Verdickungen zu erzeugen. UNTERANSPRÜCHE 1. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass die Borstenspitzen mittels offener Flamme zum Schmelzen gebracht werden. 2.
