Description
Device used to pass a series of images through a projection lantern. The present invention relates to an apparatus for passing a series of images through a projection lantern.
The appended drawing represents, schematically and by way of example, one embodiment of the apparatus forming the subject of the present invention in two successive phases.
The apparatus shown comprises: An inclined plane w intended to receive the clichés r, a slide t in which the plates engage successively at s, having to end in the tilting slide k, located at l 'projection location, a slide for discharging the images out of the apparatus into an empty box such as that used for loading, and an exhaust device for advancing the images one by one.
This device comprises an electromagnet a with its core b, connected to an electric circuit.
A mass of soft iron c is fixed to a part d serving as an escape anchor by its hooks f and f 'cooperating with a toothed wheel g integral with a spring drum n acting in the direction of the arrow -and an arm h connected by an articulation to the bottom slide k. A cable o is wound up on the drum n. And is attached to the hook p of the push. evening q.
Operation of the appliance described: After moving the push-button q back as shown in fig. 1, the images r intended for projection are placed on the inclined plane w. By establishing the electrical circuit:
the electromagnet a attracts towards its core b the mass of soft iron c fixed to the part d and the hook f 'releases one tooth, while the hook cb.et f retains another. This first movement makes advance, towards the top of the neck-, smooth t, 'the shots of the distance corresponding @ weighing at half the thickness of a plate, this by the' intermediate of the push - q pulled by the cable o.
On the other hand, the arm h switches the slide k in which sc finds a previously projected image. This slide k being thus in alignment with the slide 1, the plate is evacuated, on the latter to end in a box, while the next plate is retained in the slide t by the upper edge of the slide k.
By interrupting the electrical circuit, the images r advance the same distance as before, while the slide k re comes into its vertical position according to FIG. 2 and receives the next liché, which rests on the upper edge of slide 1.
The electromagnet is connected to an electric circuit coupled to the. lamp, projection, so that the latter goes out or greatly reduces its lighting intensity when the electromagnet is working,
the said winding acting as a resistance. This avoids dazzling when changing the projection images and eliminates the need to intervene with a shutter interposed between the light source and the image.
