Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem neuen Kondensationsprodukt gelangt, wenn man Stearinsäureamid in Gegenwart einer Säure mit dem Additionsprodukt von Tiz- methylamin an Methylolchloracetamid um setzt.
Die Umsetzung wird zweckmässig in Ge- genwart eines Lösungsmittels, wie Alkohol, Aceton, Diogan, Eisessig, vorgenommen. Als Säure kann beispielsweise Salzsäure, Schwe- felsäure, Essigsäure Anwendung finden.
Das neue Kondensationsprodukt, eine weiche Masse, deren wässerige Lösungen stark kapillaraktiv :sind, kann als Weich- machungsmittel, z. B. für Baumwolle und 'unstseide, verwendet werden. Beispiel: 5,6 Gewichtsteile Stearinsäureamid wer den in 50 Volumteilen Eisessig gelöst.
Nach Zugabe von 5 Gewichtsteilen des Additions produktes aus Methylolchloracetamid und Trimethylamin wird die Lösung während 40 Stunden auf<B>90-100'</B> erhitzt. Nach dem Abkühlen, Filtrieren und Eindampfen im Vakuum wird eine weiche Masse erhalten, deren wässerige Lösungen stark kapillaraktiv sind. Das neue Kondensationsprodukt kann als Weichmachungsmittel, z. B. für Baum wolle und Kunstseide, verwendet werden.

The reaction is expediently carried out in the presence of a solvent such as alcohol, acetone, Diogan, glacial acetic acid. Hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, acetic acid, for example, can be used as the acid.
The new condensation product, a soft mass, the aqueous solutions of which are highly capillary-active, can be used as a plasticizer, e.g. B. for cotton and 'unstseilse be used. Example: 5.6 parts by weight of stearic acid amide who dissolved in 50 parts by volume of glacial acetic acid.
After adding 5 parts by weight of the addition product of methylolchloracetamide and trimethylamine, the solution is heated to 90-100 'for 40 hours. After cooling, filtering and evaporation in vacuo, a soft mass is obtained, the aqueous solutions of which are highly capillary-active. The new condensation product can be used as a plasticizer, e.g. B. for cotton and rayon can be used.
