Abstract
Des trajets optiques le long de fibres optiques, comprenant des conducteurs multiples ou des modes multiples, sont conçus de sorte qu'ils présentent des caractéristiques de dispersion positive et négative. Des mécanismes de couplage ou de connexion régulent les longueurs relatives de propagation entre les trajets présentant différentes caractéristiques de dispersion, de sorte que la dispersion combinée des trajets combinés, soit proche d'une dispersion zéro sur une plage de longueurs d'onde des signaux, destinée à l'émission.
