"PROCESSO DE PRODUçãO DE MACROMONÈMEROS E POLìMEROS CONTENDO LONGAS RAMIFICAçõES DE CADEIA". Através dessa Invenção foram desenvolvidos polietilenos com diferentes densidades e polipropilenos isotáticos metalocênicos com propriedades mecânicas especiais, tais como alta resistência a tração, alta transparência, baixo teor de extraíveis, e com boas propriedades de processamento. A introdução de grandes quantidades de LCB na cadeia do polietileno resultou num polímero com características do LDPE, sendo obtido com o sistema catalítico metalocênico. Paralelamente, a introdução de macromonómero no sistema de polimerização de propileno com catalisador isoespecífico produziu PP com teores crescentes de isotaticidade e de temperatura de fusão com o aumento do conteúdo de macromonómero no meio reacional."MACROMONERES AND POLYMERS PRODUCTION PROCESS CONTAINING LONG CHAIN RAMIFICATIONS". Through this invention polyethylenes with different densities and metallocene isotactic polypropylenes have been developed with special mechanical properties such as high tensile strength, high transparency, low extractables, and with good processing properties. The introduction of large amounts of LCB into the polyethylene chain resulted in a polymer with LDPE characteristics being obtained with the metallocene catalytic system. At the same time, the introduction of macromonomer in the isospecific catalyst propylene polymerization system produced PP with increasing isotacticity and melting temperature with increasing macromonomer content in the reaction medium.
