Abstract

São descritas fibras sintéticas totalmente aromáticas fiadas a partir de soluções de polímero cristalino líquido, possuindo tamanho de cristal (plano 110) de não mais de 50 Å e teor de substância iónica de não mais de 1,0% em peso. As mencionadas fibras possuem baixo teor de substância iónica, ainda que mantendo a alta resistência ao calor inerente e o alto módulo de Young, sendo particularmente úteis para peças elétricas e eletrónicas.
