Abstract

GENE PESTICIDA AXMI-205 E MÉTODOS PARA SEU USO. A presente invenção refere-se a composições e métodos para conferir atividade pesticida a bactérias, plantas, células de planta, tecidos e sementes são providos. Composições compreendendo uma sequência de codificação para polipeptídeos pesticidas são providas. As sequências de codificação podem ser usadas em construtos de DNA ou cassetes de ex-pressão para transformação e expressão em plantas e bactérias. Composições também compreendem bactérias, plantas, células de planta, tecidos e sementes transformados. Em partículas, moléculas de ácido nucleico pesticidas isoladas são providas. Ainda, sequências de aminoácido correspondendo aos polinucleotídeos são compreendidas. Em particular, a presente invenção provê moléculas de ácido nucleico compreendendo sequências de nucleotídeo codificando a sequência de aminoácido mostrada na SEQ ID NO:2, 3 ou 4, a sequência de nucleotídeo mostrada na SEQ ID NO:1, 9, 10 ou 11, bem como variantes e fragmentos das mesmas.
