Abstract
DISPOSITIVO ELETRÔNICO E MÉTODO PARA APLICAR ENERGIA DEPENDENDO DE SE ACESSÓRIO É CARREGADO. Um método é empregado por um dispositivo eletrônico para gerenciar energia usada por um dispositivo acessório associado ligado ao dispositivo eletrônico. O método inclui aplicar uma corrente ao dispositivo acessório e em resposta à corrente aplicada pelo menos uma de primeira e segunda resistências identificadora é identificada no dispositivo acessório. O método determina se o dispositivo acessório está conectado a um fornecimento de energia em resposta à pelo menos uma de primeira e segunda resistências identificadoras identificada e aplica energia ao dispositivo acessório em resposta a uma determinação de que o dispositivo acessório não está conectado ao forne cimento de energia.
