Abstract

"DECODIFICADOR EM DUAS CAMADAS PARA DVD HìBRIDO DE ALTA DEFINIçãO". Divulga-se um decodificador híbrido de alta definição (700) e um método para processamento de dados de sinal como uma pluralidade de coeficientes de transformação em bloco para cada um dentre os dados de camada de base e os dados de camada de intensificação, em que o decodificador (700) inclui um decodificador de definição padrão (710) para decodificação de dados de definição padrão a partir de um feixe de bites de camada de base, concretizando uma seq³ência de dados de definição padrão, um decodificador de alta definição (716), acoplado ao decodificador de definição padrão para decodificação da diferença entre os dados de alta definição e os dados de definição padrão a partir do feixe e bites da camada de intensificação, armazenados como dados de imagem de usuário, concretizando uma seq³ência de dados de definição padrão e a diferença entre os dados de alta definição e os dados de definição padrão.
