Abstract
"CILINDRO LAMINADOR E MéTODO DE PRODUçãO DE FOLHA DE METAL". A presente invenção refere-se a cilindro laminador aperfeiçoado, particularmente para uso em laminação de espaço fechado, que tem uma estrutura compósita compreendendo uma camada externa cilíndrica (14) feita de aço e proporcionando a superfície de trabalho do cilindro, separada de um núcleo de aço (12) por uma camada intermediária (13) de material, tal como alumínio ou cobre, tendo um módulo de Young menor do que o da camada (14). Desde que as dimensões da camada externa (14) e da camada intermediária (13) sejam escolhidas apropriadamente, essa combinação pode realizar um cilindro laminador tendo um módulo de Young efetivo, que é menor do que o do aço, enquanto ao mesmo tempo mantém as vantagens de uma superfície de trabalho de aço e permitindo maiores velocidades de laminação.
