Abstract
A invenção refere-se, finalmente, a vetores e células hospedeiras recombinantes compreendendo estes ácidos nucleicos ou fragmentos dos mesmos."NUCLEIC ACID, NUCLEOTIDE PROBE OR INITIATOR, PROCESSES AND KITS FOR AMPLIFICATION OF A NUCLEIC ACID, FOR DETECTION OF THE PRESENCE OF A NUCLEIC ACID AND A POLYPEEPTIDE, FOR THE SELECTION OF A MOLECULE OR A SUE RECOMBINANT, RECOMBINANT HOSTING CELL, POLYPEPTIDE, AND ANTIBODY ". The present invention relates to nucleic acids expressed from genes located in the human genome in the 9q31-34 region of chromosome 9, capable of being implicated in diseases genetically linked to this chromosomal site, mainly disorders of plasma lipoprotein metabolism, more particularly cholesterol reverse transport. The invention also relates to polypeptides encoded by certain of these nucleic acids as well as antibodies specifically directed against such polypeptides, useful as diagnostic reagents. Finally, the invention relates to vectors and recombinant host cells comprising these nucleic acids or fragments thereof.
