Abstract
L'invention concerne une bobine de chauffage par induction pour le traitement thermique de tubes métalliques en laissant une contrainte résiduelle de compression dans la surface extérieure des tubes métalliques. La bobine de chauffage par induction est conçue pour entourer le tube métallique à l'écart et elle comprend plusieurs organes conducteurs électriques creux de forme torique en vue de chauffer le tube métallique par induction, ainsi que plusieurs tubes creux de circulation d'eau de forme torique comportant un nombre considérable d'ajutages en vue de projeter de l'eau de refroidissement vers le tube métallique, formant ainsi une pellicule d'eau uniforme sur ce dernier, les ajutages étant inclinés par rapport au sens longitudinal du tube métallique.
