Abstract
The invention relates to a device for sterilizing water comprising a UV lamp (12) arranged inside a housing (2) through which water to be purified flows. The radiation of said UV lamp is directed onto the water which is flowing through and is optionally directed onto a filter device (22) also accommodated in said housing (2). In order to increase the intensity of the UV radiation inside the area through which water flows, a reflector (40) is arranged on the inner surface of the housing (2). Said reflector at least partially surrounds the luminous element (13) of the UV lamp (12).
