Abstract

The plastics label strip (10) has a transparent elastic cover (14) integral with a rear portion (12), from which it can be bent away, with a label pocket (16) formed between them. Inserting shanks (18,20), integral with the rear portion, fit in an open price rail (22) secured to a shelf (24) etc., with longitudinal grooves (26,28) at top and bottom, in which the spaced shanks engage. The angle alpha of one shank (18), enclosed with the rear wall before insertion, is different from that formed afterwards in the locked position so that the original distance (a') of the shank edges is less than the clear width (b) between groove edges on the rail.
