Abstract

1. A skylight fitting which is adapted to cooperate with a glass door element and consists of two fitting plates (1 and 2), which are able to be clamped together by means of screws which extend through holes in the glass sheet forming the skylight, and on the side abutting the glass sheet the fitting plates (1 and 2) do not have any parts projecting beyond the plane of abutment and a component, forming a hinge part (9 and 11), is able to be screwed to a fitting plate (1 and 2), characterized in that at least one of the fitting plates (1 and 2) has an additional threaded hole (16) for the attachment of a corner lining member (18) extending into a cutout in the glass sheet forming the skylight, and in that selectively the component forming the hinge part (9 and 11) or a sheet metal abutment (32) cooperating with the glass member of the door element or with a lock box attached to the glass member of the door element is able to be screwed to the fitting plate (1 and 2).
