Abstract

A device for applying a plurality of labels on a parcel (6) or the like advanced by a conveyor has at least two separate labelling appliances (2, 3) for automatically applying one label each on the parcel or the like, means for setting the desired positions of the labels on the parcel or the like and if necessary means for storing the desired positions of the labels on the parcel or the like. Each labelling appliance has a rotary, flexible labelling arm (15) and is mounted on a suspension and adjusting device (11, 12) so as to swivel around a vertical swivelling axis (13).
