Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Uso de una composición pesticida para prevenir, reducir o eliminar una infestación por D. suzukii, D. simulans, D. sechellia, D. erecta, D. yakuba o D. biarmipes, en donde la composición comprende uno o más compuestos orgánicos volátiles pesticidas (VOC), que se seleccionan del grupo que comprende: (i) VOC pesticidas que tienen la fórmula molecular CₐHᵇOᶜ en donde: a es entre 4 y 13; b es 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 ó 24; c es 1 ó 2 y los VOC son alcanos o alquenos lineales, ramificados o cíclicos, y comprenden una única funcionalidad cetona, aldehído, alcohol o éster, y en donde cualquier alcano o alqueno cíclico se selecciona del grupo que consiste en ciclohexano, ciclopentano, ciclopenteno y ciclopentadieno; o (ii) los VOC pesticidas que tienen la fórmula (1) en donde R¹ es OH o ausente, y R² es un grupo funcional aldehído o un alcano o alqueno lineal o ramificado con 1 a 5 carbonos y un único grupo funcional éster o cetona. Reivindicación 2: Uso de un compuesto orgánico volátil (VOC) para prevenir, reducir o eliminar una infestación por D. suzukii, D. simulans, D. sechellia, D. erecta, D. yakuba y/o D. biarmipes, en donde el VOC tiene la fórmula molecular CₐHᵇOᶜ en donde: a es entre 4 y 13; b es 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 ó 24; c es 1 ó 2 y el VOC es un alcano o alqueno lineal, ramificado o cíclico, y comprende una única funcionalidad cetona, aldehído, alcohol o éster, y en donde cualquier alcano o alqueno cíclico se selecciona del grupo que consiste en ciclohexano, ciclopentano, ciclopenteno y ciclopentadieno. Reivindicación 3: El uso de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1 o la reivindicación 2, en donde a es entre 4 y 10, b es 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 ó 18; opcionalmente en donde: a es entre 5 y 10; b es 8, 10, 12, 14, ó 16; y en donde cualquier alcano cíclico es ciclohexano y cualquier alqueno cíclico es ciclopenteno. Reivindicación 4: El uso de acuerdo con la reivindicación 3, en donde el VOC pesticida se selecciona de: (E)-2-hexenal, 4-hexen-3-ona, (E)-2-pentenal, hexanal, 2-heptanona, (E)-2-heptenal, 2-metil-2-pentenal, octanal, 1-hexanol, (E)-2-hexen-ol, (E,E)-2,4-nonadienal, (E)-2,(Z)-6-nonaclienal, 2-metilbutirato de metilo, ciclohexanoato de metilo, (E)-2-nonenal, E-2- octenal, E-2-decenal, nonanal, heptanal, E-3-hexenol, octanal y pentanal. Reivindicación 5: El uso de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1 o la reivindicación 2, en donde a es entre 7 y 12; b es 12, 14 ó 16, y cualquier alcano cíclico es ciclohexano, ciclopentano o ciclopenteno; opcionalmente en donde el VOC pesticida se selecciona de ciclohexanoato de metilo, 1-ciclopenteno-1-carboxilato de alilo, ciclopentano carboxilato de butilo, ciclopentano carboxilato de pentilo, ciclopentano carboxilato de metilo y ciclopentano carboxilato de isopropilo. Reivindicación 6: El uso de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3, en donde el VOC pesticida se selecciona del compuesto con la fórmula (2) donde: R¹ se selecciona de H, CH₃ o C₂H₅; R² se selecciona de H, CH₃ o C₂H₅; R³ se selecciona de H o CH₃; y R⁴ se selecciona de H o CH₃, o R³ y R⁴ están ambos ausentes; y x es 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 ó 9. Reivindicación 7: Uso de un compuesto orgánico volátil (VOC) para prevenir, reducir o eliminar una infestación por D. suzukii, D. simulans, D. sechellia, D. erecta, D. yakuba y/o D. biarmipes, en donde el VOC tiene la fórmula (1) en donde R¹ es OH o ausente, y R² es un grupo funcional aldehído o un alcano o alqueno lineal o ramificado con 1 a 5 carbonos y un único grupo funcional éster o cetona. Reivindicación 16: Una composición pesticida que comprende uno o más compuestos orgánicos volátiles pesticidas (VOC), en donde el pesticida es para Drosophila spp, que se selecciona de D. suzukii, D. simulans, D. sechellia, D. erecta, D. yakuba o D. biarmipes, y el único o más VOC pesticidas tienen la fórmula: CₐHᵇOᶜ en donde: a es entre 4 y 13; b es 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 ó 24; c es 1 ó 2 y los VOC son alcanos o alquenos lineales, ramificados o cíclicos, y comprenden una única funcionalidad cetona, aldehído, alcohol o éster, y en donde cualquier alcano o alqueno cíclico se selecciona del grupo que consiste en ciclohexano, ciclopentano, ciclopenteno o ciclopentadieno.
