Constituyen el objeto de la presente invencion los vidrios solares marrones, que absorben las radiaciones ultravioletas e infrarrojas, así como tambiénlos lentes solares oftálmicos en dichos vidrios. Los referidos vidrios tienen la siguientecomposic ion, expresada en porcentajes en peso: SiO2 64 - 71; B2O3 2- 8; Al2O3 0 - 4; ZrO2 0 - 2; Li2O 0 - 4; Na2O 6 - 10; K2O 7 - 16; CaO 0 - 5.5; ZnO 0 - 5.5; TiO2 0 - 2; Fe2O3 3 - 9; CO3O4 0 - 0.030; NiO 0 - 0.2; SeO2 0.0030- 0.1; As2O3 0 - 0.1;Sb2O3 0 - 0.1; SnO2 0 - 0.1; Cl 0 - 2; Br 0 - 2; F 0 -2.The object of the present invention is brown solar glasses, which absorb ultraviolet and infrared radiation, as well as ophthalmic solar lenses in said glasses.
