Abstract

A tobacco composition comprising a tobacco component and an aerosol forming material in an amount of between 10% and 30% by weight of the tobacco composition, wherein the tobacco component comprises leaf tobacco material in an amount of between 10% and 90% by weight of the tobacco component and reconstituted or extruded tobacco, and wherein the leaf tobacco material has a nicotine content of greater than 1.5% by weight of the leaf tobacco material. The disclosure also relates to a method of making the tobacco composition, an article comprising the tobacco composition for use in an aerosol provision system and a system comprising a device arranged to heat the tobacco composition and generate an aerosol from the tobacco composition. The composition is designed for use in non-combustible aerosol devices like e-cigarettes, and aims to deliver nicotine and a tobacco-like experience without combustion.
