Abstract
Videre er det beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for masseproduksjon av humant interleukin-6.The present invention relates to mixtures containing human interleukin-6 with sugar chains, a process for preparing human interleukin-6 by culturing cells in a medium containing ascorbic acid or one of its derivatives, and a process for purifying a crude human interleukin-6 solution by chromatography using a carrier with bound heparin. The present invention makes it possible to prepare human interleukin-6 mixtures with high quality sugar chains, and where these mixtures can be used as medicines. Furthermore, a process for mass production of human interleukin-6 is described.
