Abstract

Compressed air is delivered to a cylindrical air housing (101) in which there are number of openings (102) directed downwards. A pair of lips (103, 104) extend for the length of the housing and are secured to the latter at the ends, enclosing an air chamber communicating with the housing and converging towards the free outer end to form a pulveriser gap through which the air is discharge. A block is mounted (116) on the outside of one of the lips, forming a liquid chamber and with a blade fixed to it (143) whose free edge bears against the lip, forming a pulveriser mouth between them. A number of pipes (127) are mounted on the block, delivering the liquid for the coating to the chamber.
