Abstract

The present invention provides a shelf life improver composition for food product comprising: at least one bacteriostatic substance selected from the group consisting of acetate, sorbic acid and a salt thereof, propionic acid and a salt thereof, benzoic acid and a salt thereof, an amino acid, and nisin; and inulin. The shelf life improver composition for food product enables to improve the shelf life of a food product, while limiting damages to the color and taste of the food product to a minimal level.
