Abstract
Se describe un metodo y dispositivo de comprobacion para medidores de flujo, para uso en la comprobacion de un medidor de flujo in situ bajo condiciones de operacion, que comprende un par de medidores de flujo masico a base de Coriolis estandar (2, 3) que estan conectados conjuntamente en serie mediante un conducto (7) que conecta la salida para el fluido (23) del primer medidor de flujo (2) a la entrada para el fluido (32) del segundo medidor de flujo (3). Un conducto (4) de suministro de fluido con valvulas es conectado a la entrada para el fluido (22) del primer medidor de flujo (2) y un conducto (8) de retorno del fluido con valvulas es conectado a la salida para el fluido (33) del segundo medidor de flujo (3). Estos conductos de suministro y de retorno (4 y 8) permiten que el dispositivo sea conectado a una linea de flujo de fluido que contiene un medidor de flujo que va a ser comprobado, de tal manera que el fluido que fluye en la linea de flujo fluira en serie a traves del medidor de flujo a ser comprobado y los dos medidores de flujo (2 y 3) del dispositivo de comprobacion. El dispositivo incluye medios de control que son operativos para usar el segundo medidor de flujo (3) como un medidor principal para verificar la exactitud del medidor de flujo a ser comprobado y el primer medidor de flujo (2) como un medidor de verificacion para el medidor principal (3).
