Abstract
La presente invencion es un stent vascular de pared comparativamente gruesa que comprende conjuntos de miembros de puntal conectados por enlaces flexibles; este diseno usa un enlace flexible en forma de "N"; los enlaces en "N" se disenan para alojarse uno dentro del otro, permitiendo al stent que sea tanto de pared gruesa y que se ondule sin traslaparse en un balon de perfil bajo; los enlaces en "N" estan unidos a los miembros de puntal lejos del centro, cerca del extremo de la porcion de puntal terminal curvo de cada miembro de puntal; este punto de union lejos del centro permite un enlace mas flexible sin incrementar el tamano de la celda del stent expandido; los enlaces en "N" mantienen una relacion ancho a espesor de al menos 1.5 a uno.
