Abstract
The terminal box has a base (10) and a cover (20) defining an internal cavity (CI) open at a peripheral rear edge to be seated and retained against a side fin (13) of the base (10). The cover (20) peripherally incorporates a side flange (25), and a ring seal (30), with an "L" section, is arranged between the side fin (13) and the side flange (25) and between a portion of the peripheral front wall (12) of the base (10) and a portion of the side walls (22) as well as the end walls (23) of the cover (20). The retention means (40) press the side flange (25) of the cover (20) against the side fin (13) of the base (10), compressing the ring seal (30). Each end wall (23) of the cover (20) has a recessed intermediate wall (23a) provided with an input connector (CE) and, optionally, an output connector (CS), the outer end portions of which are set back in relation to the peripheral contour of the terminal box.
