Abstract
Se describen métodos, sistemas y dispositivos para codificar o decodificar video donde el modo de partición de imagen se basa en el tamaño de bloque. Un método ejemplar para el procesamiento de video incluye utilizar una dimensión de una unidad de datos de canalización virtual (VPDU) utilizada para una conversión entre un video que comprende una o más regiones de video que comprenden uno o más bloques de video y una representación de flujo de bits del video para realizar una determinación de si está habilitado el particionado de un árbol ternario (TT) o de un árbol binario (BT) de un bloque de video de uno o más bloques de video, y realizar, con base en la determinación, la conversión, donde la dimensión es igual a VSize en muestras de luma, donde las dimensiones del bloque de video son CtbSizeY en muestras de luma, donde VSize = min(M, CtbSizeY), y donde M es un entero positivo.
