Abstract
La invención se refiere a un proceso para espumar elastómeros termoplásticos que contiene un agente espumante, en donde el elastómero se calienta por medio de radiación electromagnética en tal medida que el elastómero al menos parcialmente se funda y se espume para dar una espuma, en donde la frecuencia de la radiación electromagnética está entre 0.01 GHz y 300 GHz. La invención además se refiere a materiales apropiados para dicho proceso y al uso de tales materiales.
